I like seeing the finished charts but find it really hard to follow a specific chart as it progresses. Tips?

You can subscribe to a chart by clicking the star in the top right of its post. Then you can view your subscriptions from the apps menu, and get notified of new posts

Doesn't seem to work on mobile for some reason. Head to this post, and click the "completed charts" flair

I just wanna say why does this subreddit try to fill in charts that imply there's nuance when there actually is none? Like, a chart will ask what makes a good vacation destination, and it has columns for "amazing, great, good, and ok". How on earth do you decide if a place is good, great, or amazing without deciding arbitrarily? Spain is none of those things objectively. Do you get what I'm saying? It's interesting to discuss nuance if the nuance actually exists, but pretending it exists is like some of pointless mental torture. And it's lying to yourself. These charts are huge and you're spending all this time trying to fill them up when there's no real meaning behind the rankings.

Is there any way to discourage people from commenting on prompts that aren’t being asked? I’ve noticed recently you can click and add a suggestion in any box, but it’s leading to irrelevant and confusing nominations. Could that be toggled off and only set on for people posting a whole chart at once?

I am unable to view any charts that are using the app or create new charts using the app - just get a blank screen - any idea why?

Yeah we can add as many categories of post flairs as needed. I will monitor popular posts and make new categories.

Open the menu, select your saved chart, add in and image of the winner with a description, then repost asking for the next highlighted cell. Same way you made it originally, only use the saved chart instead of making a new one

Click the create menu in the top left of your chart, then select your saved chart. You do not edit in the post itself.

Sorry if this is a silly question, but how do you post a chart that's already partially filled? Like how you can tap on an answer and it'll link back to the post for its square, how is that done?

Just click the menu in the top left, create a chart, and highlight a cell, then post it. As you continue posting that same chart and highlighting different cells, they will link to each post

Hey, I don’t think the subscription bot is working. I’m not getting any notifications anymore, despite being subscribed to multiple charts.

Thanks for letting me know. We switched to push notifications instead of DMs, so you should see them in your notifications of reddit, but it is experimental. Are they appearing there?

No, it’s not appearing in my notifications. I’m using the mobile website on my iPad and iPhone.

Did you get DM notifications from the bot, or have the bot blocked?

I got them up until a few days ago. I did temporarily mute the bot, because I thought that was the cause of a glitch I was having (it was not). But I unmuted it

I see. I think if the bot tried to notify you, and it was blocked, so you go on a Permanent do not disturb list. I can change that so it checks again to see if it's unblocked.

This has become a whole ass brand.
I liked it before the templates, having to edit each day on photopea myself gave an authenticity to it.
The democratising of the chart has weakened this place I feel.

You use the app itself to build the chart. If you want to use your own image of a chart, you can fill it using freeform canvas mode in the create new menu, top left of any post in the sub
