I’ve never been to one sadly cause they haven’t come towards my area (at least not since they got back together). I just know it seems more at extreme metal shows, the vibe is always hit or miss. Like I went to see Fit For an Autopsy a few years ago and I got the vibe everyone was rude. I usually try to chat with other people at shows and I felt like I couldn’t do that there. Same thing with Sepultura. People were stand offish and felt unapproachable. Whenever I tried to chat I got the vibe i was bothering them and everyone just seemed so mad lol. Last year tho I went to see Pantera for the first time and it was an amazing experience and everyone there was really chill and the vibe was good. Sadly I’ve never been to an Acid show. So I was wondering what the vibe is like at those shows.

A friend of mine got us tickets to see Acid Bath in a few months, and we’re on the floor. What kind of crowd does Acid Bath usually bring? Is it a pretty chill group or do I need to be braced for a punch in the side of the head?

Looking at all the issues Hellbender here in Asheville is/apparently had on their opening day does not give me confidence that the Acid Bath show won't be... without issues. The comments in their recent "weather delay" post on IG paint the venue as a shit show.

Edit - they deleted the post in question. Comments were full of complaints and few people asking for their $ back. Not a good look.

Obviously all Acid Baths songs go hard but that song in particular has always been the one I catch myself replaying the most. It’s between that and Pagan Love Song lol. Most people I talk to say their favorite is The Blue or Scream of The Butterfly. I don’t see enough people saying Bleed Me An Ocean. Bit of a random post I know, but I just think the song is a bit underrated lol.

Jimmy is by far one of my favorite drummer songwriters along with Danny Carey. The bell he uses is also pretty neat and I think adds to the atmosphere of a lot of the songs
