I have a tendency to overwork my paintings and this is a deliberate attempt to control myself from adding too much using a less is more approach. Very rarely do i consider any of my paintings finished, which often leads to chaos on canvas which oftentimes mirrors the happenings in my life.

This project pushed me to the limits of my patience and skill. Mostly hand brushed with a bit of masking + airbrush to finalize the details, I wanted to give a final push before welcoming our first child in late August. The painting is 48x60in in size and all handmade with zero ai used in the creation process, as per usual. Enjoy these detail shots!

Continuing my architectural abstraction series. I’m interested in creating spaces that feel familiar without describing a specific place. Feedback is always welcome.
