Last Sunday we hosted our first Atlanta Anjunafamily social + open decks, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better start.

We had DJs from within (and adjacent to) the Anjuna community playing everything from deep and progressive to classics, while everyone else hung out, talked & danced, met new friends, and enjoyed an afternoon together. There wasn’t any pressure for it to be anything more than people sharing a love for this music.

One of our community members put together this recap video, and I think it captures the vibe better than words can.

If you’re thinking about organizing an Anjunafamily meetup where you live, do it. It doesn’t have to be a huge production. Start with a venue and a shared love for the music. The rest has a way of falling into place.

Premise: I have an additional Friday Pre-Party ticket + 2-day GA ticket because a friend can't make it. I really don't want to sell the tickets because this community has been so warm & welcoming to me. Even before I knew what Anjuna means. (Still not sure if I know). Instead of selling tickets, I want to give these away. I also thought it would be nice to get more attention for people I've met along my music journey.

I am going to play a DJ set at a friends birthday and he is very much into breakbeats and drum and bass. Since i really love anjuna deep i thought it would be nice to combine those two things in my set.
