This is a close-up of a 50 x 60” piece of just sold canvas stretched and stapled to my studio wall. I spent hours last night pulling staples out of the wall first so I could start clean on a new project. I’m putting a ground down and I just noticed that I missed a staple. Do I have to worry about hearing a complaint from client about a bump on their canvas? Theres gonna be a lot of different imagery, it’s gonna be a busy canvas. I think I can probably just add add more paint and disguise it. Right???? Help. The last thing I wanna do is take this thing down to pluck one little staple out and re-stretch it to the wall. You feel me?
