Help (Software) RX 5700 XT GPU Utilization Drops to 0–50% After 1–2 Hours of Gaming (No Temperature Issues)
Computer Type: Desktop
GPU: Sapphire RX 5700 XT Nitro+ 8GB
CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (6 Cores, 12 Threads)
Motherboard: ASUS Prime A320M-K
BIOS Version: (Not sure)
RAM: 16GB DDR4
PSU: Corsair GS600 600W
Case: Cooler Master Elite 690 Wood
Operating System & Version: Windows 10 64-bit
GPU Drivers: AMD Adrenalin 26.5.1
Chipset Drivers: (Not sure / Latest available)
UPS: Stabimatic Gemini 1250VA (My PC is always connected through this UPS)
Background Applications: Steam, AMD Adrenalin, MSI Afterburner (sometimes), HWMonitor
Description of Original Problem:
I'm experiencing random stuttering after about 1–2 hours of gaming.
It happens in:
Red Dead Redemption 2
The Last of Us Part II Remastered
007 First Light
When the issue starts, the game begins to stutter and I notice the GPU utilization fluctuating from 99% → 50% → 20% → sometimes even 0%, then it goes back up.
The PC does not crash or reboot.
The GPU and Hotspot temperatures are normal after undervolting, so I don't think this is a thermal throttling issue anymore.
Previously my hotspot reached around 100–105°C, but after undervolting the temperatures are much lower.
Current tuning:
P3 Frequency: 1900 MHz
P3 Voltage: 1050 mV
Power Limit: -10%
Custom fan curve
I also received the "Default Radeon WattMan settings have been restored due to an unexpected system failure" message once, but that only happened after a forced reboot because Windows got stuck during startup not while gaming.
I'm still using AMD Adrenalin 26.5.1 because I've seen mixed reports about 26.6.4.
I'm trying to determine whether this is caused by:
GPU driver
Windows
SSD/game streaming
Unstable undervolt
UPS
Or something else.
Troubleshooting:
Clean installed AMD drivers.
Temperatures are now normal after undervolting.
Applied custom fan curve.
No overheating during the stuttering.
No black screens or crashes while gaming.
The issue still appears after 1–2 hours of gameplay.

Help (CPU) NBA 2K26 Park-Spieler werden auf dem PC (AMD-Grafikkarte) zufällig unsichtbar – alles versucht
Hi, I’m on PC with an AMD GPU and I’m having a weird issue in NBA 2K26.
In The City/Park, players (including my own player) randomly become invisible. Sometimes I can only see clothes, shoes, or parts of the body.
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
Reinstalled NBA 2K26
Completely reset Windows
Deleted all drives and reinstalled the game
Verified game files on Steam
Cleared AMD shader cache
Tried different FPS limits (60 FPS crashes randomly, higher FPS causes invisible players)
The issue still happens.
Has anyone with an AMD GPU found a fix? Is this a known bug with 2K26 or AMD drivers?

Help (GPU) Is something wrong with my new 9070 power usage does not go beyond 90w in some intensive games
i got a new asrock 9070 16 gigs challenger model at msrp(which is super rare here in india irrespective of amd or nvidia). Literally at microcenter us rates.
Booted up msfs aka microsoft flight simulator 2020 and my max gpu usage was like 75% and power usage peaked at 90 W. my old rtx 3070 used to consume 210-230w at this sort of load. Used to stutter a lot aswell due to vram limitations. Now i easily see vram usage going to 10000 MB or more.
Is everything okay with my new gpu or is rdna 4 this efficient ? i tried 3d mark spy and the max power consumption was at 211w, temps at 55*C at 50% fan. Yes it has a large heatsink but something feels wrong.

Help (Software) Valorant messes up my graphics drivers
hey guys, ever since the most recent drivers update (im on windows 10 right now with a RX 7800 XT) if i try to get on valorant, it loads up, and works perfectly for like 5 minutes, then out of nowhere, the game will freeze and my monitor turns black, then shuts off.
ill force shut off my pc and no boot, my second monitor isnt recognized, frame rate is locked, and i cant open the amd software because its an infinite loop of asking to update, i had to rollback but considering the game itsself literally works fine for a while i dont know what the issue could be, no other games do this, if anyone could help or has any extra questions please let me know, thank you.
Also before anyone says anything, im playing valorant with my cousin thats why im getting on it haha

RAM: 24GB DDR4 3200MHz CL16

FSR mode performs worse than Native resolution in every game tested (e.g., Ghost of Tsushima), despite image quality looking good.
* Native (TAA): ~81 FPS
* FSR Quality: ~67 FPS
* FSR Performance: Does not reach native 81 FPS (~below 81 FPS, like 74 or sum)
Enabling upscaling results in a noticeable performance drop rather than an FPS increase.
Is that sh*t normal? I know rx 7600 is terrible and fsr running in int8 is a miracle, but holy

Help (General) Experiencing LiveKernel 117 GPU crahses on RX 6600 XT AMD Adrenalin 26.6.4
I have recently been experiencing a driver timeout issue on my pc. I'm not entirely sure why and there's a few possible factors. I recently upgraded my CPU and Motherboard, the CPU is new and the board was bought used. It is a Asus TUF Gaming B550 plus. Initially I though the error could be related to pbo and my curve optimser I had to undervolt my cpu. After fully removing the undervolt and running my gpu at complete stock with a fresh install of drivers using DDU and fully reseating the GPU I still get the timeout error. It only ever happens when doing low intensity tasks such as browsing, discord calls and basic usage, It has never crashed or given me any issues under load or whilst playing. I even ran it through 3DMark Timespy, Steel Nomad, Heaven Benchmark and 30 mins of Furmark without one single error. I did repaste the GPU a couple months back and I've had it for around 4 months. I also messed around with overclocking the GPU for a bit, but im not very good with those things and I couldnt get it to run stable so I didnt use it after that at all and basically didnt game with any type of overclock ever. Even after the repaste, and overclocking I did not experience any of these issues before upgrading my board and cpu and installing the newest amd drivers. The temps are quite good and iv'e never really had an issue with them. My PSU is also a brand new CoolerMaster MWE 850W Gold and my motherboard bios is updated to the latest one. Im not entirely sure if this is an issue with my gpu hardware, my board or potentially a driver issue with the latest amd drivers. Any help would be largely appreciated. I will also upload a .dmp extract from one of the crashed I experienced.

Help (General) Need help choosing a motherboard for 9800x3d
Hey!
I am building a new PC next month and I need some guidance regarding which motherboard to get for the 9800X3D.
I was looking at the MSI X870E Tomahawk, but that might be overkill for me, I don't need extra fast m2 ssd slots as I most likely will run 2 at max (1 for OS and another for games). PC will be mainly for games and some streaming.
This is the build so far: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YJPYdq ( I have everything shipped except for the CPU and Motherboard)
Thank you in advance for the help!

Help (General) Random black screens - PC stays on until I force restart
Hi everyone,
I’m having a strange issue with my PC. At completely random times (not just while gaming), both monitors suddenly go black. The PC itself stays on (fans, RGB, and mouse lights are still on), but there’s no display and I have to hold the power button to restart it.
Things I’ve already tried:
Swapped to two different GPUs → same issue.
CPU and GPU temperatures are completely normal.
Tested each RAM stick individually → same issue.
The issue happens randomly, even when I’m not gaming.
PC Specs:
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7900X3D
Motherboard: B850
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT
PSU: NZXT 1000W
RAM: 32GB DDR5
At this point I’m thinking it could be the motherboard, CPU, PSU, or maybe a BIOS/driver issue.
Has anyone experienced something similar or have any suggestions on what I should test next?
Edit : this is a screenshot from the reliability history one guy asked me to show it but i dont understand anything here

Help (CPU) Low 1% FPS on Ryzen 7 7800X3D despite high average FPS
I'm having an issue with poor 1% lows on my Ryzen 7 7800X3D, and I'm wondering if this could be related to the CPU itself, Ryzen X3D CPUs in general, or if there is something wrong with my setup.
I've been trying to figure out what's causing my poor 1% lows, but I'm running out of ideas. I'm using the NVIDIA Performance Overlay to monitor FPS and 1% lows. I'm not sure if MSI Afterburner + RTSS provides more accurate or reliable 1% low readings, I don't know enough about it.
For example, in Rainbow Six Siege I average around 300–400 FPS, but my 1% lows sometimes drop to around 100–120 FPS. Whenever that happens, I can clearly feel microstuttering.
I'm experiencing something similar in Battlefield 6. The game doesn't feel as smooth as it should, almost like it has a slight sluggish or "through a fog" feeling despite the high average FPS.
Could this be caused by something in my BIOS? I have PBO set to -25 and EXPO enabled. I noticed there are multiple EXPO profiles, such as EXPO II, and I'm wondering if that could be causing the issue, but I'm really not sure.
I'm running Windows 10 IoT Enterprise LTSC.
My specs are:
Ryzen 7 7800X3D
RTX 5070
Patriot DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 32 GB (2×16 GB)
If anyone has experienced something similar with the 7800X3D, other Ryzen X3D CPUs or Ryzen processors in general and has any ideas about what could be causing these poor 1% lows and microstuttering, I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks

Help (GPU) Questions regards "AMD Bios F1 Screen Fail Error" and how to fix it?
Hey all!
This is a long shot but am scratching my head as to how to fix this. This is not a overly conserning issue as I still can access my computer and it's content. It also does not take a very long time to go through the steps of "Press F1, F10 and OK" ....But it is something fairly frustrating as I am unsure as to why it is happening.
This is the main issue. I have a flash with the latest firmware etc but, the thing is, I did follow the steps I normally do when updating a BIOS (Not my first rodeo so do not worry if something might be too complicated - I will ask if I ain't grepping what you might mean :D ) But, this is something I have yet to come accoross despite it being a fairly known issue. So I am writing here to see if someone knows something that I have yet to stumble across.
The second thing is something that I realised while talking to a friend of mine. When I do use F10 as my Save-option it seems to also state in the advanced file that "F10= Save & Reset" . Is this the root of my issues? That whenever I press F10, it goes back to the "error" (If one can call it that) setting and if so, what Save command should I use instead? (//End Brain confused.)
So....I do hope that someone recognise these things? Feels pointless in having to reset my motherboard to fabric settings just to save and reset it back to now? And therefor, same issue with updating it again and just.....back to square one.
Anyone with ideas to help a woman out? (Adding my photo from 2Juli 2026 of what I am talking about. Ignore the RAID comment. It is just one of my drives that thinks it was in RAID. That should have been corrected and is in ANCH all of the non - usb disc's)

Help (Software) Amd smart access memory issue
Computer Type: Desktop
GPU: redeon rx6900xt
CPU: RYZEN 5 7500f 6core 3701mhz
Motherboard: MSI mag b850 tomohawk max wifi
BIOS Version: 7E62v2A62
RAM: 16GB crucial 4800MHZ cl40 ddr5
PSU: 850watt
Case: N/A
Operating System & Version: WINDOWS 10 IoT enterprise LTSC build 19044
GPU Drivers: whql-amd-software-adernalin-26.6.4-win11-a
Chipset Drivers: 8.05.04.516
Description of Original Problem: the amd smart access memory is not turning on unless memory integrity is enabled and when memory integrity is disabled the "system Settings change: your hardware settings have been changed. Please reboot your computer for these changes to take effect." Popup is always shown after turning on the pc.
Troubleshooting: First, is this supposed to happen? Because I tried to fresh install my Windows, and I did not have this issue before. I've tried reinstalling Windows two times, updating bios, disabling Secure Boot, disabling the Re-size BAR, rebooting, and then enabling it, rebooting again after the Re-size BAR toggle. But nothing worked. I did some searching and figured that memory integrity might be the issue, and I should disable it, but it was disabled from the very beginning of the installation. So, after enabling it, Smart Access Memory was enabled with no pop-ups.
The weird thing is I've heard that disabling it fixes the issue, but for me, why did enabling it fix the issue?
Also, if there is no fix, I've seen a lot of controversy about memory integrity, so I'm not sure if I should leave it on.
And I had not known about this feature until today. So, most likely, it was off, but why was Smart Access Memory enabled with almost no issue in my past Windows 10 installations?
Also thanks in advance for helping me out. I really appreciate it.

Help (Software) PC freezing and hard-rebooting
I have been having a problem on my system for the past few weeks.
When i close Kingdome Come Deliverance 2 and let it upload to the steamcloud while also browsing the steam store page my system suddenly freezes and reboots without warning. (not everytime i do this, it happens randomly)
I have not been having this issue with any other game or other program that i use only when combining these two actions does this occur randomly.
I have no problems or signs of problems while playing the game where sessions could easily be up to 5+ hours. Aorund 100fps running smoothly.
Could this be a software related problem with drivers for my graphics card? Could it be early symptoms of a failing PSU? (5+ isch years old) Or do you have any other thoughts?
I have been getting event41 in my eventviewer 4 times which look like they coorelate to these chrashes/reboots.
Just ran sfc and windows found corrupt files and repaired them.

Help (CPU) Broke a pin on an 3900X
Third pin near the golden triangle as marked in the image, can someone tell me if it is essential or redundant?
Was having issues with my PC, so I decided to give it an overdue cleanup and thermal paste refresh. Used a hair dryer to heat the cooler and everything, still managed to pull off the cooler with the CPU stuck on it. Surprisingly, only one pin fell off, the rest didn't even bend.I have the broken pin piece as well, but I don't know what to do.
I solder 0402 components using a hotplate regularly, so can manage some soldering, but need inputs.
Any and all help is highly appreciated :D

I'm experiencing screen tearing—or something similar—while gaming; there are no issues on the desktop so far. I've noticed it in Valorant, CS2, and Fortnite. Could you help? I recorded a video of the problem; here is the link https://youtu.be/ycD5jxA2l3g?si=FF1k4R0Jc0cE6Gif
