I'm just starting my journey toward AI/ML and I'm looking for a serious study buddy who's also a beginner (or starting from zero).

Right now, my focus is to building a strong foundation before jumping into Machine Learning and Deep Learning.

What I'm planning to learn:

- Python from scratch

- Mathematics for AI/ML (Linear Algebra, Calculus, Probability & Statistics)

- Problem-solving and logical thinking

- Later moving into Machine Learning and Deep Learning

Looking for someone who:

I'm planning to transition into software engineering and I'm considering enrolling in the Full Stack Development with AI program offered by the Asian Institute of Management (AIM).

A little background about me:

I'm 31 years old.
I currently work as a Virtual Assistant, so I'll be studying while continuing to work.
I have an old background in web development, but it's been years since I last coded, so I'm basically starting over.

My goal is to become job-ready and start applying for Junior Full Stack Developer.

I'm looking for a structured program because I learn better with mentors, deadlines, and accountability than purely self-studying.
I'll most likely be borrowing the tuition, so I really want to know if it's worth the investment.

For those who actually took this specific program (or know someone who did), I'd love to hear your honest experience.

I'm also open to hearing alternatives if you've found a bootcamp in the Philippines that gave you better results.

I'm not expecting a bootcamp to magically get me hired. I know I'll still need to put in the work. I just want to make sure I'm investing in a program that will genuinely help me become employable.

I recently completed my B.Tech, and honestly, I'm feeling a bit confused about what to do next.

I want to build my career in AI/ML or Data Science, so I'm looking for a good placement-oriented coaching/training institute in Hyderabad, Bangalore, or Pune. But after searching online for days, every institute claims to be the best, and I genuinely can't figure out which ones are actually worth joining.

I'm from a middle-class family, so I can't afford to spend a huge amount of money on the wrong institute. I want to choose carefully because this decision will have a big impact on my career.

If anyone here has personally joined a coaching institute (or knows someone who has), could you please share your honest experience?

Which institute did you join?

Was the placement support actually good?

I'm a 20M, 2nd-year CSBS student and recently started learning AI/ML through the Prime Batch (AI/ML) by Apna College.

So far, I feel like the Python section isn't covered in enough depth for someone who wants to build a strong foundation. Before moving further into AI/ML and eventually Deep Learning, I want to make sure my Python fundamentals are solid.

Can experienced people guide me on:

Which Python topics are must-know for AI/ML?

Which topics become important later in Deep Learning?

What can I safely skip for now?

Any good resources (YouTube, books, or courses) that teach Python specifically from an AI/ML perspective?

I don't want to spend months learning every corner of Python if only a subset is actually used in AI/ML. I'd rather focus on the topics that are used in real projects and industry.

Have any of ya'll ever had multiple AIs do one project rather than one AI do multiple projects? We've been trying that, and it seems to significantly prevent drift when you have an AI specialising in something rather than just using it for multiple topics at once.

We'd like to hear your experiences and thoughts on this line of thinking.

After months of applying to hundreds of jobs and completing 60+ interviews, I finally have three potential offers.

A little background: I’m choosing between three roles with roughly comparable compensation. My long-term goal is to become an AI/ML engineer, data platform engineer, or forward-deployed engineer. I’m 26 with roughly 4 years of professional experience, including 3 years in technical automation, data, and platform work. I’m also pursuing a master’s in computer science and AI.

1. Current company — Automation, Analytics & AI

A technical role supporting a major operational business function. I would identify business problems and build automation, analytics, and AI solutions, including workflow automation, dashboards, data analysis, AI use cases, requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and ongoing support.

My main concern is that the official “Business Analyst” title may undersell how technical the work is.

Benefits: Strong retirement benefits and full tuition reimbursement with a one-year commitment.

2. Current company — Financial Data & Analytics

A data-focused role supporting finance across multiple business divisions. I would build and own end-to-end data products involving cloud data platforms, ETL pipelines, APIs, data modeling, BI, forecasting, and potentially AI.

The role would involve working with very large financial datasets and partnering directly with business leaders and stakeholders across the company.

Benefits: Strong retirement benefits and full tuition reimbursement with a one-year commitment.

3. Large telecom company — Senior Analyst

A hands-on internal platform engineering role focused on employee technology. I would build applications, workflows, dashboards, collaboration tools, and AI-enabled solutions using the Microsoft ecosystem (mainly Power Platform).

The work would involve owning solutions from intake and architecture through deployment, governance, reporting, and ongoing support.

Benefits: Equity, partial tuition reimbursement, but my remaining master’s degree costs would be approximately $10,000.

Which role would provide the strongest long-term path toward my goals?

Is there a UNI from EU which is reputed and offers an ML course or statistics with ML , with post graduate certificate- online , it is ideal if it starts from scratch , if not I will manage.

19M, I am in cse branch in 3rd year of clg and only thing ik is to start doing DSA as soon as possible this what my seniors told me in 1 st year of my clg but whenever I feel I like i want to start I kept procrastinating so I think this is right time start the grind I and hope I find someone who has the same situation....few things i would creify that I want a job in AI/ML role so this are things I know or I learned so far

I got an email from LinkedIn a couple of weeks ago called "AI You Can Actually Use" and one of them looked like it could be useful. I took a look at it but it was so basic AF. It could have been a Youtube video but if you pay for it, you get a certificate. It was such a basic thing to learn but it was so overly hyped up. It didn't help that the instructor worked for google.

There is so much hype on LinkedIn about AI and I know job seekers are being scared into stuff to find work but given that I have studied data science and machine learning, what exactly do I need to know to appear up-to-date and marketable?

I know these AI rely on LLM but I'm not really interested in building these type of tools like chat bots.

I know in this field we have to learn all the time so what's something to learn on AI that is a must know? That course really was demotivating because it was child's play compared to other tech stuff I've learned.

I'm working as a data engineer with 2YOE. I want to upskill myself. I asked one of my friends and got a suggestion as "Do m.tech in ai/ml at BITS WILP". TBH I've checked the curriculum and the fee structure is a bit high. And others said "Buy krish naik Udemy courses". Yes. Krish naik course also has good content for the industry side. I need suggestions from you professionals. Did anyone know about that program? Should I pursue it?Are there any other courses or any programs?

Last Year I moved on from Private IT Sector to a Public Sector Bank as a 10 Years Experienced .Net FullStack Developer.

I am already completely disillusioned for XYZ reasons and want to get back into IT and Tech.

I am trying to understand what all topics I should get started on for upskilling in this AI crazy market that can get me into Service or Product companies and that actually has some demand.

I am a pure .Net Azure FullStack dev with little to no knowledge on AI systems. So any guidance will be highly appreciated.
