On April 24, WWE announced the release of over 24 of their superstars. This would mean that the 90 day "non-compete" (as many like to call it)?, would be over on Friday, July 23 or Saturday, July 24 . . . depending on when they were actually released.
This means that technically these released talents could debut as early as AEW Redemption. A few I am most interested in:
- Motor City Machine Guns This one is interesting, and a lot of people think this is a given. What makes it interesting is that the fallout Dynamite after Redemption is in Detroit. Perhaps they have a small debut at Redemption, but have their big debut at Dynamitenin Detroit.
- Kairi Sane It will be interesting to see what Kairi does. Will she return to STARDOM? Will she join Marigold? Will she join her good friend Mina Shirakawa in AEW? One thing is for sure, whatever she decides to do is going to be big news.
- Malakai Black and Zelina Vega Jim Ross has said that he doesn't believe that Malakai Black burned bridges when he left AEW for WWE. Could Malakai come back and have the same kind of resurgence as Andrade El Idolo has had in AEW? I have always liked Zelina, and she would be a decent mid-card addition.
There are obviously more names from the April 24 releases that could be talked about. What do you think?
