Got this for 30€ with blown caps. It does turn on and I do plan or replacing them but I was wondering if I should update it to the latest version or keep it on this. Is there any benefits? Thanks

I thought it was a Falcon, but even that had inconsistencies. The power input is a Falcon, J-Runner shows it as a Zephyr, and it has solid state caps, which I only remember seeing on Tonasket. I've been out of the modding game for a bit and have picked it back up. I've done a ton of Trinity, Tonasket, Jasper V1, and Corona boards, but I recently picked up a handful of consoles from a seller that got them in a shipping crate auction. This particular console is confusing me, since it seems to have parts from multiple different Phat revisions in it. If it helps determine what's going on here, it also has a Gamestop refurbished sticker, the X-Clamp delete mod, and the 12v fan mod, with the heatsink with the extra block and heatpipes on it. I'm just a little confused on how to proceed with this monster mash-up of a console.

Do we know, does RGH become obsolete with the softmod? Is it a bad idea to pay more for an RGH-ed console now?

This is the first time this has happened, and he's using a Lite-On disk drive with some makeshift modifications that don't interfere with its operation.

Hi guys just curious if anyone has knowledge of what these numbers mean on some fat 360 cpus. I found these markings on a Xenon if that helps. Also, please view the 2nd picture as well it has another string of numbers that starts with "G".

Hey guys, I’ve hit a total wall with my modded Xbox 360 hard drive and could really use some expert advice.

My console is running fine and can launch games, but the file system seems completely frozen / locked down. Here is what’s happening:

* **Can’t Delete Files:** Trying to force delete a corrupted game folder fails across the board. Aurora won't delete it, XeXMenu fails/hangs when deleting or renaming, and FTP via FileZilla throws login/permission errors or drops connections.

* **Settings & Paths Won't Save:** Whenever I try to add a new content path in Aurora or change dashboard/FTP settings, nothing saves. Once the console or dash restarts, it reverts right back.

* **FATXplorer Issue:** I pulled the drive and hooked it up to my PC to fix it with FATXplorer, but when trying to mount it, FATXplorer throws this error:

Mounting Error (SSD 1TB Hard Drive) - Incorrect function. : '\\.\PHYSICALDRIVE5'

The drive itself still boots into Aurora and plays games, but it acts like the entire drive has become permanently Read-Only or the FATX file allocation table is completely glitched.

Has anyone run into this specific issue before? Is the drive header repairable, or is backing up my Content folder and doing a full format/re-prep in FATXplorer my only way out?

Grabbed april 14th prototype build & refuses launch only taking to this error upon crashing straight away. All files look normal except the launch XEX is titled "Bond2011XE.xex" rather than "default.xex" which i don't think should matter so unsure cause is. No other unreleased prototype builds do this they all work as intended GoldenEye is the only game have this error message.

j runne just doesnt see my console and says “console not found“ when i try to read nand.

what do i do?

i use raspberry pi pico

all the pins and wires are soldered correctly, i checked twice. i eve tried changing wires, didn’t help.

i just checked the wiring, it's possibly wrong. on the official picoflasher github page there's the pins list, and i soldered the wrong ones, cuz i was following the wrong tutorial probably. so hopefully it works now.

1. use this pic as a pinout reference (it worked just fine on the jasoer 16mb for me)

2. make sure your pi pico is pico flasher, and it shows up in the j-runnner as pico flasher (there will be a little logo of a pico flasher there). (you have to download the pico_flasher.uf2 file on your pi pico, search up for the tutorials.)

I just wanna play single player games, unlock achievements legitimately to contribute to xbl profile.

So 1. I need info if that can be achieved? 2. Which stealth server 3. Hard mod or will a soft mod be okay?

I don't wanna hack achievements. I did all this back in the day. Got a few banned accounts. Im a casual gamer now with a pc and ps5. Just wanna relive nostalgia on the 360 and build xbl profile. Anyone else like this?

So I have been trying to update my Aurora dashboard from version 0.6 to 0.7b. Is there any way to do it via a USB.

I did try it myself but most of the time I get a can't transfer files error.

I started playing through all currently available Mortal Kombat games a couple years ago to see if I could get all the achievements, but I kept running into problems with my MK9 save data either getting corrupted or disappearing on my newer consoles when redownloading my 360 profile for troubleshooting purposes and it getting automatically replaced with an empty cloud save. There's no way I'd get My Kung Fu is Stronger (mastering every character in the roster) naturally under these conditions, so I wound up looking for downloadable save files online

The instructions for how to get the achievements to trigger are as thus:

Do one each of the "Test your...".
Perform one X-Ray for the e-X-cellent achievement.
Grab someone once for the The Grappler achievement.
Play one versus match for the Wavenet achievement.
Perform one fatality with any fighter OTHER THAN Reptile for the....My Kung Fu Is Strong achievement and Complet-ality achievement
Perform one fatality with Reptile for the My Kung Fu Is Stronger achievement.
Finish one ladder match for the Where's The Arcade? and Arcade Champion achievements.
Other achievements will pop-up as well!

I used Modio 5 to resign the save file and got it running on my profile after some tinkering. I was able to get all of the achievements listed here (I actually had most of them naturally already), but the 'other achievements' it mentions never wound up popping for me. I figured I'd make a post here in case somebody on this subreddit happens to have had a similar experience and knows exactly what to do, or is just willing to throw out some suggestions. The forums where this file were posted are pretty old and mostly dead, so I don't expect anybody will answer my questions there anytime soon. I don't know if I need to do each of these in the exact order that's listed, or if already having some of the listed achievements prevented some kind of domino effect that requires one achievement to pop before popping the next one in a specific sequence. I know I can always just get the remaining achievements the honest way, but at my current skill level, I'm not confident I could do something like finish all 300 challenges in the challenge tower before I randomly lose all my save data again. Not to mention achievements like getting a jackpot in Test Your Luck or triggering the secret fight against Smoke in the arcade ladder are literally just RNG based and require no skill, so I figure it's not too dishonorable to try to finally complete the game this way

If anybody can suggest anything to try, it would be greatly appreciated!

Hi, I have recently went through the process of modification and i noticed that unlike the video tutorials, Aurora does not open. After Xeunshackled i just get brung back to the profile sign in screen. Ive found something like “Xexmenu” i think is called, which i still manually have to load it up from my games list and find my games in there to launch. is there anyway i could fix this?

been trying to run some prototype games using dashlaunch with the HvP plugin but i can't seem to get any games to run. I tried to get both Marvel Chaos and Nx1 (Cod Future warfare) to run but both would start go to a black screen and say can't start try to download again. Anybody got this to work still new to modding xbox and using dashlaunch so some tips would really help out thank you very much

Hello. My girlfriend gave me an XBOX 360, which we didn't know had RGH. However, we both want to connect it to XBOX Live because we don't plan on downloading any games from the Caribbean. We simply want to play our existing game collection and unlock achievements without risking a ban. Does anyone know if formatting the console will remove the RGH and allow us to connect it to XBOX Live and log in with our accounts?

just recently purchased a rgh Xbox from a builder has a 250gb internal and a 8t external hard drive typical build with every game/xbla games set up on aurora decided i wanted some story mode menus/trainers but im now on my 3rd flash drive and tried every single way i have read to format it but every time i try to format it i get the message "cant perform action" im losing hope plz help

For the mark - im pretty new to freeboot and aurora. So, I have a problem with installing content from homebrew store, all the time it was giving me an "Unhandled exception" error, as i discovered i presumably have to install a newer version of aurora, but in tab "About Aurora" its saying that there is no updates, my version is 0.7b r1658 (core) and only thing im assuming is that i need to update aurora manually, how can i do that? All the guides that i found was saying only about updating aurora in tab "About Aurora"
