RIP Mac 9 DS-D Comp
It’s officially done with production and stock will not be added back. I was fortunate to snag one just over a month ago in the $900s. Great gun for the budget.

Miller Precision Ranger with some custom anodizing done
Decided that all black was boring so I stripped, polished and anodized the grip safety, trigger, and magwell
Staccato CS Help
I have about 18,000 rounds through this sexy beast and I am curious would should I change internally for a freshen up or should I just do Staccato’s maintenance service? (Any reviews on that would be appreciated)
It’s never malfunctioned or anything along those lines but I feel like 18k rounds is enough for some TLC.

Dark Forge Reaper (2 Barrel option)
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Shoutout to my amigo Mason at Modern Warriors for sending this my way!
This is the Dark Forge Reaper with both the ported/comped barrel and the additional non-ported barrel, giving me the best of both worlds.
I can’t wait to get it out to the range and see how it performs.
I’ve shot the Wraith before and was really impressed, so I’m excited to see how the Reaper compares.

Atlas 10rd mags
I saw on their site that these are welded to block for 10 rounds. Are you still able to take them apart to clean the inside? Just curious what the inside looks like if anyone has one.

The arrival...MPA
MPA DS9 Hybrid TC. Fit and finish is pretty incredible. Zero side to side wiggle or clicking. Have to wait a couple days to shoot and it might kill me.

2011 the LOOOOOOONG WAY
Just picked up this STI Eagle 6.0 in 9mm
Fun fact: this gun was available in Resident Evil 3: Nemesis as an extra if you beat Nemesis enough times.

Holster question please help
So I am wanting a Tenicor holster and found a good deal on one for a 2024 Staccato C that accommodates multi light(TLR7 variants)
My question is since the holster is for a 2024 C, will it work with other 2011’s with the same light? I guess I’m asking is the 2024 C dimensions the same as say a Mac 9 DS 4.25”. I know mine is 0.25” longer and I can open the end of the holster a smidge but like slide/rail dimensions are the same right?

At this point a shoulda just got an xc
All jokes aside I love how this has come together. And I like that I have a choice if I want to run the comp or not.
Stac p with steel frame
Miller precision enhanced grip with tactical magwell
Egw ignition kit sear spring and main spring
10lb variable recoil spring also like to switch in a 11 lb
Underworld arms compensator

First time Stipple Job on The Temu Turkatto
I had a spare stock grip module, so I tried my hand at Stippling it. Lowered the trigger pull slightly, polished some stuff and cleaned up the safeties. They were previously a little sticky. Ready to get back to the range later this week to test it out. It’s not too aggressive, it more traction than stock. I can always add more texture if needed.

Alpha American
Alpha American is a brand I do not see that often on the forums. Just wanted to give them a shoutout! These things are built to the highest quality, and you can just tell.
Thanks for looking!

Staccato XC Compensator Wear
Just got my new Staccato XC maybe two weeks ago. Only shot roughly 250ish rounds so far. Did some research on how to clean compensators and ended up buying Slip 2000 Carbon killer and brass tools. Soaked the comp in the slip for 5-7ish minutes then scraped the inside gently with the brass tools. A little worried that the slip 2000 may have worn the DLC coating off or I may have scrapped too much? Maybe I also didnt let the comp soak long enough in the slip and I’m still seeing left over carbon? Anybody else experienced this problem before or am I worrying too much?

Sig P211 GTO versus Kimber 2K11 - Leaning toward GTO
I'm interested in buying either an Sig P211 GTO or a Kimber 2K11 Comp in a version yet to be determined. I haven't had a chance to shoot either but I think a local range has a GTO I can rent. I'd like to A-B the Kimber 2K11 but they don't have one so I am doing my due diligence. Usage is primarily a range toy and possibly some occasional wildcat *hit factor* matches. These are for fun and training and they aren't militant about weight or other details. I'm not good enough to worry about being competitive. I just want to improve and have fun. FYI - I have smaller and lighter EDC pistols so that's not a concern.
I found some at a local gun shop so I was able put my hands on a P211 GTO, GTO Equinox, Kimber Pro Royal, Kimber Pro Comp and a standard Kimber 2K11 5" non-comp'd today. I was surprised how different the different variants felt in my hands. The grips were different on each of these and that affected how they felt in my hands in the gun shop. The gun that felt best in my hands was the P211 GTO Equinox. This model looks like it has Lok grips? If not, they look like Lok grips. I'm not sure how I feel about the polished area's on the slide. I tend to go for blacked out pistols. But it was sexy.
I've been watching all the Youtube comparisons. Seems like the Kimber might be slightly more accurate and a better trigger. The Series 80 trigger in the GTO however can be improved or converted to series 70 so that's not a deal breaker or maker. I have a feeling I'll have more fun with the GTO Comp and in this case, I might opt for the Equinox because it felt better in my hand.
Open to suggestions and comments from those who have these or have shot them?
Rock BBR 3.10 9mm
I don't know if you guys have seen these but they're awkward feeling and I don't see the use in them and I kinda want one. Any experience with them?

Red dirt trigger fitting review
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This is my 3rd time fitting a 2011 trigger and I believe I have mastered it.
1st: Staccato red dirt, with help from a friend
2nd: red dirt in this same gun, worked perfectly but made an error in removing material from rear trigger bow tabs thinking that was where hang up was when really it was bottom of trigger show that needed more material taken off. Vertical movement at shoe was non existent but trigger break felt more like a Carrot than a glass rod, I believe due to minor movement of bow in track being possible after shaving down tabs. Was still a great trigger but wanted to try again knowing what I know now
3rd: this one, material removed from top and bottom of shoe only. both surfaces polished smooth
this trigger has no side to side play and no vertical play. Break feels like a glass rod. Trigger weight 2lb exactly. Minimum pre and overtravel to pass all safety checks and no hammer hook rubbing!

Kimber ds warrior 10mm
Ejects brass just fine 3-4 o’clock position about 10-12 feet away even used the Wilson combat video to double check that the extractor is properly tuned. But every new round nose dives into the feed ramp as you can see from the copper markings. Using checkmate mags. Please advise
