Picked up #3 in my collection yesterday. TALO distributor edition Ruger SR1911 in 45.

Serial number puts it at 1919. Colts .22 conversion to go with it as well. Haven’t cleaned it yet.. still has a cobweb in the barrel. Shop scored a good deal and then I snagged it up afterwards.

Got this at a local pawn shop. Never been fired according to the clerk. Put about 250 rounds over the last two weeks.

Hey guys I got a CMP 1911 with a colt frame and Remington Rand slide. Any possible chance anyone here has one and can trade maybe there’s is mismatched? If not anyone know where I can find one that’s not super expensive

Picked up this rock island tac ultra a couple weeks ago used. When I got it i noticed some peening at the slide stop so i had the shops gunsmith take it and clean it up. Think he did a pretty good job. Also got in the valkeryie designs compensator so I threw that one when I got home.

I recently acquired this 1911, I've never seen another like it. Does anyone have any idea how hard they are to find ?

I was looking for a .40 and man did I find one! Had the box, manual, 4 mags and the takedown tool! Looks like it was made between 98 and 01 so hopefully not a clunker.

The upper photo is a 2013 Hunter, and I’m wondering if those earlier models with two port comps were one solid piece with the barrel.

I’m looking at getting a Wilson Combat high ride grip safety to replace the super sloppy grip safety that came on my newly acquired Colt SE-A1. Does anyone have experience with how these fit on Colts? Are they oversized and meant to be fit or can they be, “drop in”? It says on the website that fit and refinish are required, but in my experience that’s not actually the case for a lot of 1911 parts I’ve installed (other than thumb safeties). Thanks all.

I picked up a Gold Cup Trophy. Will just any 8 round 1911 magazine fit, or do I need something special? Also, will any higher capacity magazines work?
