Is there a used electronics shop in town?
I'm new in town, been trying to get my hands on a 3ds, and am wondering if there's a used electronics shop or donation store I can take a look in to see if one's available?

Hey!
I grew up in hundred mile and my dad found this old picture of me at a waterfall that came out of English lake. I was wondering if anyone has an idea how to get to it! Hes tried a few times with no luck so hoping to see if anyone has a recent way there, hiking or by road.
Thanks in advance
EDIT: He mentioned there was an old trappers cabin maybe nearby.

I recently drove through 100 Mile House and stopped at Tim Hortons for a coffee. It's the first time in probably 15+ years where saw a staff that was entirely young, non immigrant workers. Close to ten kids, and one older woman.
It is well documented that Canada has, for over a decade, brought in unskilled low wage immigrants to fill these positions, and they have taken over these types of jobs, which has pushed up youth unemployment, and pushed many low skilled Canadian workers out of jobs.
Is there a story as to why this Tim Hortons is operating differently than many other locations and similar businesses?

Coming to town in September for a couple years work, looking for a place to rent. Prefer my own place like a 1 or 2 bedroom unit of some sort. I'm a family man with my own house in Cape Breton, no parties or drugs etc

The Old Road Summer Festival in Clinton is looking for local spotlight performers to play short sets between our main stage acts on Saturday, June 6.
We’re hoping to hear from solo performers, duos, youth performers, and emerging local talent. Spotlight sets will be about 10 to 15 minutes, and acoustic or simple plug-and-play performances are preferred.
The current lineup includes The Pines Musicians, Arlen Park, Allen Dobb, and Banjo Bruce and the Bluegrass Beats.
If you’d like to be considered, or if you have questions, contact Brett Hartnett at [[email protected]](mailto:[email protected]) or call (250) 459-2261.
This is a great chance for local musicians to get on stage, share their work, and be part of a full day of live music in Clinton.

Just sharing a local event for anyone in Clinton or nearby.
The Village of Clinton and Spirit of Clinton are holding a Volunteer Appreciation event on Saturday, April 18, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Clinton Memorial Hall. It’s an opportunity to recognize local volunteers and see who is being honoured this year.

Wife loves the area but I am on a fairly strict regiment of meds for pain and such and am worried about finding some where to get my prescription filled .. I can bring 1 year worth as a buffer. Are there any doctors or clinics in town that one can use to get perceptions?

Hey everyone! I’ve recently made the move from Halifax to 100 Mile House and have been actively applying for jobs but haven’t had much luck so far. I’m hoping someone here might have some advice or know of any opportunities that are available in the area. What’s the job market like around here, and what kinds of work should I be looking for?

https://wplace.live/ I’m limited to only using 62 blocks so any help would be great. For those that don’t know, people all over the world can create pixel doodles on the same map for everyone to see.

Good morning, everyone! I hope you’re all enjoying a wonderful start to the weekend.
I’m heading up to Lone Butte to visit my parents for the next week or so and will be actively looking to purchase vintage Pokémon card collections during my time there. I’ll be bringing a substantial amount of cash and am ready to make fair, on-the-spot offers.
If you know of anyone who may have an old collection they’re thinking of parting with—or if you have one yourself—please don’t hesitate to reach out to me via message or phone call. I’d greatly appreciate any leads.
Now is actually a great time to sell, as the market for vintage Pokémon cards has seen a recent spike and is just beginning to level off. This could be an ideal moment to turn a forgotten collection into something of real value.
Thank you in advance, and I look forward to hearing from you!

We’re in 108 mile visiting for the weekend from Vancouver and I just walked outside and noticed lights scanning across the sky over and over and over. It was enough to light up the snow on the ground but not enough for my phone to catch even at 100% exposure. Anyone else ever noticed these lights?? I was looking north west and could see them clearly with my naked eye. If anyone knows what this is I’d love to know. It’s tripping me out. Cheers.
