It would be wrong to fire a first year MLB manager without giving him the opportunity to learn from his first season imo. It would be a very bad look and deter other managerial candidates in the future. Not to mention Tony hasn’t been set up to succeed by Posey

Calling it now they’re setting up Vitello to be the fall guy. They can chalk it up to this season being the result of an inexperienced manager while Buster and co stay to run this shitshow back another year. Because we’re not rebuilding. A rebuilding team doesn’t hand out these insane contracts that are gonna be impossible to move off of. They can’t even get a top 10 pick next year in the draft so if they are tanking they’re doing it for no reason. That’s the problem here. Buster and co have no plan on how to run this team. All the moves they’ve made this year make no sense at all.
