Once again we're back with another rumble. As a reminder Rumbles will be posted to /r/whowouldwin as Scan Battles
Rules of the Respect Thread Rumble
Pick any two or more respect threads posted in May or June 2026 based on EST which would be Dozer's Gurdurr (Pokemon Anime) to Gamera (GAMERA -Rebirth-). Here's a link to every eligible
Link whatever respect threads you are using in your post.
You are not required to use any threads you made, and you are free to participate even if you have never made a respect thread. Simultaneously, all threads in your analysis can be yours if you are so inclined.
All match ups will be posted to /r/whowouldwin as Scan Battles With RT Rumble/Respect Thread Rumble in the title. All claims in the analysis must be backed up by scans, otherwise the thread will not be considered for rewards.
Multiple people can post the same match-up, and responding to someone's analysis with a rebuttal is also allowed.
There will be a comment in this thread that you can post links to your rumbles and rebuttals. Only links posted to this will be accepted.
Rewards will be decided based on a combination of a poll and judgement from the mods, in the categories of "Best Analysis" and "Best Rebuttal". Awards will be given towards the ongoing Request Competition, with Best Analysis conferring 50 points and Best Rebuttal conferring 25. Additional awards may be given for second and third place depending on the number of participants.
Battlefield is wherever you want it to be.
Outside of that feel free to discuss anything related to respect thread creation.
Also, Rhythm Heaven Groove's coming out tomorrow. Isn't it convenient I keep getting to post these symposiums every time I want to shoutout some new release?

Request Contest Update
It's a new month! Inverse will be around later to give a full point update, but in the meantime I'm here to do what everyone's really here for and reveal what bounties and missions are coming up.
Bounties
First, we've had a good time with the Armour and Live Action bounties, but RTing DCEU Wonder Woman will no longer get you a good helping of points. Instead, the next three month bounty joining Urban and Music is Swords, and the one month bounty (as chosen by Gecko) is Poison, covering any character with a feat involving poison or venom offensively or defensively. So...maybe Diana will still get you a lot of points. Should've probably picked a better example.
In any case, in August the three-month bounty will be Yellow. Weapons, clothing, anything you want that can be strongly associated with the colour and the request qualifies for the bounty. And for my birth month, I'm locking in the one month bounty of Morality Swap. I want to see heroes becoming villains and villains becoming heroes, all that good stuff.
Missions
Here's the missions we're looking at for August:
OutbuRsT
That's right, following the overwhelming success of Cops vs Robbers, it's time for another OutbuRsT! For anyone who missed the last one, each OutbuRsT will have participants join one of two teams. There will be a creation period where people can work away at requests from the entire request list (active and cold storage), followed by a week-long period where every posted thread that meets your team's theme is eligible for points! We also try and get some art done, such as the banner changing to represent the winning team and getting this commission between two of the threads arranged.
Last time, Team Robbers quite literally stole the show with a last day heist using the Persona 5 Phantom Thieves, though Team Cops certainly put up a good fight with threads ranging from sheriffs to Pokémon to space kaijus. You can see all completed threads from the last OutbuRsT here, and if you join the RT Discord you can see each team's private channel where they discussed and featposted for their projects. We'll be reusing them in the next one, too, so be sure to join if you want to collaborate with your teammates.
But the real question is, what will the next OutbuRsT's theme be? Well, while we may have picked the previous one, we would like this one to be the public's choice. Below are themes picked by Neg, me, and Inverse respectively, followed by a poll where you can pick which option you'd like to see the most.
Red vs Blue - Mario vs Sonic. Teto vs Miku. Team Fortress 2 vs The Other Side Of Team Fortress 2. This one has no restriction about where the characters come from or what they get up to, the only requirement is that they have to be strongly associated with one of the listed colours. This could be through their costumes, their weapons, needing to tap mountains or islands to play them, anything clear.
Sci-Fi vs Fantasy - Star Wars vs Lord Of The Rings. Code Geass vs Death Note. Indistinct Currency Called Credits vs Indistinct Currency Called Coin. For this one the character themselves don't matter so much over the medium they appear in, though that's not to say it can't be down to the character themselves: Tony Stark wouldn't count for fantasy just because he's in the same universe as Doctor Strange, and vice versa. Just use your best judgement.
America vs Japan - King Kong vs Godzilla. Power Rangers vs Super Sentai. Jelly-Filled Donuts vs Rice Balls. The obvious idea is that this is down to where the series was created, but we're also happy for characters to be drafted due to them being American or Japanese in-universe. For example, Phoenix Wright is a Californian from a Japanese-produced series, and therefore could count for both.
Vote for whatever option you like the most here. The winning option will be announced mid to late July, immediately starting the creation period. We'll also announce the posting period when revealing the theme.
