It might be a damning statement about how sad my social life is, but Wednesdays were genuinely the highlight of my week a lot of the time. It's parasocial, of course, but I genuinely loved hearing those two yap about the hobby I was also nostalgic, bitter and passionate about all at the same time. (Fuck you Andy Chambers for killing my Fimir!!!)

The gosh-darn bastards got me hooked on Plastic Crack again after I'd been away from the hobby for 12 years. And then they just leave!? I didnt get a final chance to give you money for you to say "wow, those are some very nice models, good job", Darn it!!

I follow along watching the hobby space and reading Warhammer Community every now and then, and always catch myself thinking "what'll T&B say about this on Wed-....fuck...'

So, Tom and Ben, as I have no better fore-room to make my plea, I have resorted to crying on reddit. Just know that there are many of us, perhaps even hundreds....nay, thousands, who feel a small Tim'n'Bon shaped hole in their heart on Wednesdays at [insert your timezone here].

I realize this might come off as needy and whiney, which isnt my intention. I'm so grateful for being passionate about mini's again and you two are to thank for that, and there are so many vods to go back and rewatch. I'm very happy all the shenanigans, from the Doomborn chronicles, to Harold wars to Chewy water happened, and will cherish a lot of the moments I got to experience live with a small group of weirdos on a streaming site.

One of these years I'm going to make a pilgrimage to Bristol, perhaps participate in the MPO there, bring all my little toys with me and aggressively parade them around in front of Yogtowers with a "Do Screamers of Tzeentch do mortal wounds to Steve Irwin?" shirt on.

I was watching Jaffa Factory/Quest 2 and it was filling me with all the great nostalgia. I stopped watching when they started Boss Rush, thinking it was just a spin off to fill some time, and that was 5 months ago. Looking at Duncan's channel, they're now on something called Jaffa Factory: Mad Jeff, which seems like another spin off. Is the proper main series just done and over kind of unceremoniously?

I've been loving the Mad Jeff series, and the modpack and world seem incredibly fun. I know at the end of Jaffa Factory 2, the modpack was released. Will the same be done with Mad Jeff? Im sure there are things being done behind the scenes that wouldn't be able to be replicated in a singleplayer world, but I'd still love to play around in it myself.

Apologies for the wait but I'm happy to say that the 1.21.1 release of Jaffabricate is now finally available for Neoforge! I've also put out a small update to the 1.20.1 version that should hopefully fix the pesky issue with filtering orange juice (although I was never able to reproduce the problem myself so it's still only speculative at the moment).

Not only that but I've also made the Github for the mod visible to the public so anyone who'd like to have a mess around with or just have a nosey at my (possibly shoddy) code work is now free to do so. I've also added a short wiki page to it which goes into a little more detail about some of the less obvious features of the mod.

As before the mod is available on both Curseforge and Modrinth. Hope you all enjoy!

Now that people have had a while to play with the mod pack, I'd love to see some pictures of peoples factories, so feel free to use this thread as an excuse to post some if you like.

Lastly, shout out to u/007spy9 for taking matters into their own hands and updating the mod themselves (and thereby kicking my ass into gear to do it officially haha)

idk if i’m double posting this but there seems to have been an issue with its initial release. i only saw it on my youtube home page because it was “posted” 2 weeks ago and is buried in the sub feed :’)

Just wondering if it's a world gen or they made a custom map for the series.
I always wanted to do a hot biome only play-through and was wondering how they did it.
