With the drought in Denver a lot of my other water-loving flowers are not doing great, but the wildflowers are thriving! The birds love them too!

I planted a pack of wildflower seeds in a big tub 2 years ago and this is coming up for the 1st time.

I tried Google lens and it recommended American pokeweed & if that's it I would definitely to get rid of it. Thanks!

In July of 2025 I redid my back patio area and left a little patch of dirt so i could plant some flowers. I bought a bag of California Wildflower Mix and basically just threw it over the dirt and hoped for the best. A few weeks later, there were so many little sprouts. I got a few blooms here and there and prayed they little guys would survive through the winter.

There’s beauties have been blooming over the last month and i couldn’t be happier 🥹🥰

Although a very modestly small bloom, I found these tiny desert flowers very endearing.
