New, what is it? What are these little plastic things i have found in my sons room

I have found a few of these little plastic things scattered around my 15 year old sons room, and was wondering what they are?

People are dumb. My teen is an addict (coming up on a year sober though) so I do have a little experience in this area. How mom handles this will define their trust and relationship for the next several years or more.

I hope he sticks to it. I got started at 13 and thankfully got to rehab at 19. Wrecked me pretty good but I managed to get an education and have definitely given me a better life so far than I ever had in my teens.

You have zero experience until we know what drug your kid was addicted to. I mean some people can be addicted to benzos. Some people can be addicted to speed. Some people can be addicted to opiates all kinds of stuff out there and I'm not even a doctor. I'm a 11th grade dropout.

idk, I mean the kid is definitely going to reap what they sowed, BUT, it's not unreasonable in some cases to err on the other side. Growing up I had a friend who would get severely beaten by his parents for doing any stupid teenager shit (like getting caught smoking). Like have to go to the hospital kind of shit. It was horrible.

Just want to add some perspective on why some people may have strong opinions about stuff like this, not that this is always the case, it is for some people.

OP - don't beat your kid if you do! If you don't, good job!

If any of those teens and some adults ever personally lost someone who accidentally overdosed, they wouldn’t be saying that. The pain that a family has to go through for the rest of their lives is absolutely devastating and completely preventable.

I have seen it time and time again—friends I know who have lost their teenage sons and daughters (or early 20s ) because they took something that they didn’t know was laced with something else (trust the street pharmacist who pedal drugs to your friends, right? Just because you trust your friends, doesn’t mean they’re the ones who made it or know what’s in it) and found their respective sons or daughters dead in their bedroom; I’ve witnessed this over and over firsthand…my own friends losing their children!

And then I watched the grief every year when their birthday rolls around or the death date anniversary rolls around all the posts that they flood on social media about how they wish they could go back in time and change things. That’s not narcing—that is genuine concern for the lives and safety of the people you care about. It’s so ignorant that people jump on that narcing bandwagon.

You don’t think there are teenagers on reddit actually made about this? Pretty sure the kids today would say you need to touch grass.
