Discussion #TIL how little caffeine there is in iced coffee compared to hot coffee
I've always been under the assumption that the iced coffees were loaded with caffeine because they used a different/stronger blend. But to see that a 32oz iced coffee has the same amount of caffeine as a 12oz hot coffee blew my mind. I've always been curious about the caffeine content of the iced coffees, and I've searched everywhere from Google to ChatGPT to here on reddit. But today I found this on Wawa's website (I swear it wasn't there before), and now I have my answer š
Also included of the rest of the drink caffeine contents for anyone who is curious. Also, here's the links:
The web page with the caffeine contents (which doesn't include iced coffees for some reason)

Wawa Playlist Hoagiefest song
So, my sister randomly messaged me asking if I remember a specific hoagiefest. I do remember it, but I canāt find the title of it anywhere. I know it was Parry Gripp singing (as usual!) but none of the songs I listened to had these lyrics or tune. I couldnāt find lyrics for most of the songs online either.
Hereās how it goes (as we remember it):
āWhere can you have some fun this summer?
Bap bap
Where can you find something good to eat?
Bap bap
Where can you find a classic hoagie?ā
And then so on..
If anyone can help, thank you so much š I donāt know how we canāt find it anywhere. Maybe itās not even a Wawa song, I dunno.
(I apologize if I used the wrong flair!)

Product Question Hot Dogs
Does anyone know what brand of hot dogs Wawa serves? Iām sure they are not super high quality, and not healthy, but they are pretty tasty when you get a hankering for one.
Product Question Any news on outbreaks being reported from the lettuce used on hoagies?
Totally forgetting that this cyclospora thing was going on, I got a hoagie last Friday. Wasnāt until I finished most of it that I remembered itās a thing. Was doing alright up until yesterday. I havenāt had horrible symptoms just yet but enough to make me questions if the lettuce I had carried the parasite. That sandwich was the only time I ate out this month and tbh I never have produce in my house.
Curious if anyone has heard of any outbreaks related to Wawa

Customer Questions (MD) Would I be stopped for picking up mobile orders for my coworkers?
Essentially, Iāve been doing this for a while, where I have a coworker who doesnāt have a car, so when I get Wawa I offer to pick up an order for them. They pay for it, I just pick it up while Iām there and give it to them. This results in me walking out with two bags, which so far no one has questioned.
That said, today I decided to offer this to an additional coworker. Meaning that I would be walking out with *three* bags. Iām nervous that someone would think Iām stealing someone elseās food. Basically, asking employees of Wawa: Whatās the store policy on customers picking up multiple orders? Should I be worried?
Product Question Shorti bag by Lands End
My daughter and I both worked for Wawa and really REALLY want that Lands End Shorti bag. It says they are in select stores. Does anyone know if there are any stores in the Burlington, Bordentown, Hamilton area?!

Customer Experience Hash brown angel
I go to store 8506 every day during the week. Iām taking a moment to recognize a very special person customers have deemed the āHash Brown Angelā. This person works Monday through Friday and makes sure that all the Sizzleās and hash browns are freshly made and plentiful. She has a great attitude and you could tell her she loves her job.
Until she came along, it was hit or miss. When she goes on vacation, thereās no use in going. Nothing worse than picked over a rack of sizzleās about to expire.
Kudos to you and the great job you do!

I do not currently live in Wawa country any more. So I am not able to go in store. But the bag is no longer available online, but stated as being in store (NJ locations specific stores).
If someone would help me be able to procure one it would be greatly appreciated! I miss Wawa ā¤ļø Edit: Will pay for bag, shipping, and finders fee $20-$25.

Product Question Custom/DIY āgritty smoothieā?
Iāve been trying to figure out a way to customize a smoothie or even a frozen lemonade or recharger or something to have the same flavor components as the gritty smoothie.
Itās just mango, pineapple, and tart cherry, right? With chocolate chips & whipped cream? I always got it without the chocolate chips, and Iād happily take raspberry popping bubbles instead if thatās an option, but the add-ins & whipped cream arenāt even dealbreakers for me. And I wouldnāt even be too upset if it had to be a liquid lemonade or something instead of a smoothie consistency. I just want the flavor combo of the gritty. But every time I try to customize a drink with these flavors, it wonāt let me. Like it will only allow either pineapple puree or mango but not both, or it just wonāt let you add tart cherry at all, or some other bullshit. Has anyone cracked the code so far?

Promos, New Products, and Updates So strange
For days Iāve been talking about wanting to make an affogato and have been trying to find quality espresso in the store, but as of tonight said f it Iāll just buy shots from Wawa tomorrow. I go on the app and now they literally have an entire affogato category lmao.
Has anyone tried these? Obviously theyāre not made with gelato but soft serve and after working at Wawa I know the espresso is half water so do they come close to a real affogato or would it be smarter to still make my own?

Ask other Associates Needeing advice
My Ohio store is part of the new market and is only a year old. In that short amount of time we are already on our 3rd GM. Who I am convinced is the spawn of Satan. She said she has been a GM for many other companies, but claims she has never made a schedule. Anyways, even after our old GM spent the majority of a week training her on how to do it, she obviously still doesn't get it. So instead of swallowing her pride and asking for further assistance and training, she actually just puts anyone, everywhere, on any shift, regardless of being available or not. Once everyone has noticed and confronts her about it she then starts changing the posted schedule without communicating it to anyone. So once the MOD's fill out their roll deployment, We all have started noticing that our crew is coming in late if at all. And because of this the crew has started getting points. So In the end of shift, recap email , she makes us do, I asked her to please inform us when she makes changes to the posted schedule. Ever since then I am on her radar and I honestly believe she is doing everything in her power to give me quit. Is there anything I can do about this?

Customer Experience Never included
Every iced coffee promotion never includes the self-serve iced coffee. Why is that? The few locations I visit there's always someone that has the same complaint besides me. Does it hurt profit margins or something?

Product Question Help with Ice Coffee
Hello Wawa peeps! Help me with a good ice coffee please! I ordered a 32oz vanilla with 4 liquid sugars and Carmel drizzle. It has no taste, not coffee, not vanilla, nothing! What should I order to have at least some coffee flavor?

Ask other Associates Question about something
Had a customer ask me why this cream smoothie shows that it's blue, but on the recipe it only shows 2 pumps of Salted Caramel.
Is there something wrong with the recipe on Wawa systems end?
r/Wawa • u/Still-a-VWfan • 3d ago
Customer Experience Why do people always park at the pumps then go inside for an hour at every Wawa all the time.
This is the most ignorant and inconsiderate thing to do. And no theyāre not all paying cash either. It not Wawaās fault but damn get your gas and go. Park in the lot if you want to go in and shop. Itās seems like thereās more people parked there than actually getting gas.

Ask other Associates how do you balance wawa as a second job??
i've been working at wawa as a second job (part time) since the end of march, i also work a full time job in addition to this, i have wawa so i can finally pay down credit card debt and it has helped IMMENSELY; however, i think it's finally catching up to me how much working 2 jobs is messing up my health. i hate calling out at any job, and i practically never do it. i had my first call-out in years last week because i was just so exhausted. i looked and of course i did get 2 points for the call-out, but i also don't want to call out again because then i'll be up to 5 points (i was 10 mins late last month to one of my shifts so i'm at 3 right now).
i've told my GM and AGM that this is my second job and that i work a traditional M-F but they consistently keep trying to put me on for 8 hour shifts on saturday and sunday every week unless i request a full weekend off in advance, it's incredibly exhausting. if i'm not working a full 16 hour weekend, my hours go from 20 hours that week to 8 because they only schedule me for 2 week night shifts when i've given them 17.5 hours of availability on week nights, i don't care if i work one weekend day a week, i just don't want all or nothing where i'm put on for a full weekend or nothing at all, there's like no happy medium and it feels like i'm not being listened to.
i'm seriously feeling the exhaustion and lack of appreciation from the company, my managers and coworkers are great, i love them, but it's just ironic that this company preaches about mental health and stuff but you're basically not allowed to call-out for that same mental health issue. i've been told i'm potentially narcoleptic and i have mild sleep apnea so this has been extremely hard to balance lately and it's finally starting to catch up to me. is it even worth staying at wawa as a second job when they're do harsh with their call-out policy and shitty scheduling??
so i guess what i'm asking is should i just suck it up and deal with this because it's normal or is it time for me to quit and just try to be extra tight with my funds like i was before? lol i'm so lost here
