The constant gamification, the endless paradox of choice, and the slot-machine mechanics don't feel designed to help us find partners—they feel designed to keep us scrolling. It feels like they've commodified the human experience of meeting someone to the point where it just breeds burnout and a weird, modern type of isolation.
