Hi everyone! I’ll be moving to Newark, Delaware, to start a postdoc position at the University of Delaware. I’m looking for either a studio or a one-bedroom/one-bathroom apartment in a safe and relatively quiet area.

Ideally, I’d like to be within a reasonable driving distance of campus and have parking available. 

Which apartment complexes or neighborhoods would you recommend? I would also appreciate hearing about places or management companies I should avoid, as well as any hidden fees, safety concerns, or utility costs I should know about.

Hello, Im an incoming freshman and got accepted into the Chemical Engineering program. I am having a difficult time choosing a laptop for the program as they're either ridiculously expensive or have relatively bad reviews(I'm using the requirements posted) so I was wondering if any other engineering students, especially ChemE students could give me some recommendations, thank you.

My roommate and I are looking for another girl to live with us at our 3 bedroom 2 bathroom apartment! 

It includes 1 living room, 1 kitchen, 3 bedrooms, and 2 bathrooms. 
Everything is furnished except your bedroom! However, the roommate moving out has furniture to sell (see below for details). If you’re interested, you won’t need to move furniture in.
You have your own private bathroom that connects to your room.

🛍[Neighborhood] This is a residential area so it feels pretty safe to walk around, even at night. Shoprite is a 2-minute drive. Walmart is a 9-minute drive. Walgreens 2-minute drive. University of Delaware is a 10-minute drive.

[Price] Rent is $731/month not including utilities, but the most you’d have to pay for utilities would just be a little over $100 (during the winter due to heating)

Has anyone taken a statistics class with Dr. Bryan Crissinger? I'm considering taking his class this coming semester, but looking at his reviews on Rate My Professor, there seem to be a lot of mixed experiences. For context, my only statistics background is STAT200 and Calc I-II, so I'm apprehensive about taking a difficult statistics class with a professor who has 100+ negative ratings (but there are 100 5-star ratings too?). I'd appreciate any guidance.

Hello all; I’m currently a rising sophomore (engineering major) and as title suggests am looking to start learning the pipe organ. As it’s getting later in the summer, I am hoping to find someone once I’m back at UD. I’ve been looking around for where to find lessons etc., and have largely been coming up empty.

I briefly considered an Applied Music minor with organ concentration, but (correct me if I’m wrong) it looks like that minor is intended for people coming in with some prior experience on the instrument, so not for me.

I know it’s probably a long shot, but I figured I’d ask around here just in case: Does anyone know of any opportunities for organ lessons in the local Newark area, or ways I can get involved with organ coursework/lessons/etc. in the school of music without being a music major? Ok so I’m an incoming psych major, and honestly, I didn’t take the placement test seriously and did really bad. My advisor only has group advising appointments available so I was wondering if I was going to get flamed in front of everyone😭?

so i took the placement and i scored VERY low. i spoke with my advisor and he said i should retake it but i dont really think its necessary bc i dont think i would do well again. im also undecided so does it matter or not?

Hello, I am a international graduate student and I will be coming to UDel for six months the upcomind academic year. I'm thinking of getting a room at the INNternationale house. Has anyone lived there before? What was your experience? It is difficult to find a place at the moment with a flexible lease and I want to know if the INN is an ok option. Thank you!
