Anyone else running the Nashville 15k?

Hey y’all! I just signed up for the 15k in Nashville in October. I’ll be doing it most likely solo. I’ve done the 5k before in the Poconos years ago without training, and have wanted to do it again since but haven’t found the time. Now I’ve been training for a few years so I feel fairly confident in my fitness level to be able to conquer a 15k. Trying to see if there’s any other solo runners out there beforehand!

Cutthroat Classic Entries Available

Hi folks,

Hoping this post is allowed here. I have 3 tickets available for the Cutthroat Classic happening in the Methow Valley in WA on 06/12. I think entry is $120 pp and there is a huge waiting list. You can have these for $100 pp.

I will be backpacking in Calgary and cannot make it. But I ran the race last year (in the middle of a smoky, fiery weekend and it was a gorgeous trail with some ridiculous views).

News If you have training questions, I'm happy to answer them.

Hey all! I've been competing in obstacle course racing for more than 8 years at the pro/elite level and have been training people for these events for many years. If you have questions about how best to train for any specific distances or obstacle or just good training, I'm happy to answer those questions.

Fire away!

So are new england mudders just shit out of luck

I dont even remember the last time we've had an even somewhat local. The closest we have now is New Jersey sometimes? We used have multiple venues up here and now we get nothing. Even Spartan Race which owns tough mudder is still using some of these venues to have their own races. Do we think they'll ever bring tough mudder back this way?

Do spectators need Photo ID to get in?

My name on my spectator ticket is different to my name on my photo ID - do spectators need to show photo ID to enter even though they are not participating in the run?

I have 2 tickets that we no longer need if anybody wants them? I don't want any money for them, but I have been told that there may be a charge if there is a difference in price between now and when I bought them. Cheers

Heading to a muddy dash this month and it’ll be my first time. Are there showers or a way to clean yourself off once you’re done?

Amsterdam Fitness Challenge suprise

Hi all,
I am currently planning a bachelor party for my best friend (who is really interested in Sports) in your beautiful city, Amsterdam, from July 3rd to July 5th, 2026. Knowing us, we will definitely be enjoying the Amsterdam nightlife to the fullest on Saturday night.
My plan is to drag the groom-to-be straight out of bed on Sunday morning and surprise him with a very special challenge:
A Fitness Challenge with a Outdoor Sports Community.
My vision:
We are staying at Camping Vliegenbos, and it would be amazing if the locals could be the „ambush squad“ to pick him up there to treat him.
Is there any Fitness Community who can Support me in this?

Best regard and thank you in advance
Sascha

Request Arizona 2013 Course Map

I know this is a long shot, but do any long timers here have a copy of the Arizona 2013 course map lying around in their old keepsakes?

I'm trying to document all of the races I've done and this is one of my last missing pieces.

I tried the website, the way back machine, and tough mudder customer service, to no avail.

Thanks in advance.

2026 TM Finisher shirts vs the TSA

Hey, so fun fact if you didn't know: the decals on the shirts will flag you for a pat down on the 360 body scanners.

Anyway, that's how I just got my chest patted down at the Minneapolis airport 😅

Stick with the 15K TM or switch to 5K?

Hello everyone, hope you are doing well. My question is should I switch to the 5K TM or stick with the 15K?

My fiancee and I signed up for a 15K TM being held in September back in the beginning of the year. My fiancee is military and has been for almost 10 years and suggested it to me as a way to help motivate me to work out and a way to gain mental resilience. However, I wanted to do the 5K one as I thought the 15K would be too difficult. Although I’m overall healthy and have an active job (I work with children and am on my feet all day), I am not in the military, I can’t do a push up or pull up, haven’t ran a 5K in 10 years, and have back and pelvic issues which lengthens my recovery time and complicates how I work out. So I just thought 15K was too much - however my fiancee convinced me otherwise, saying that a 5K would be too easy for me and that I could train for a 15K in 6 months.

Well, fast forward to now and training has not been going well. Due to my job and schooling and just my overall hatred for working out, I only train cardio once a week, no weight training (I know I know I should train more I just would rather pull my eyelashes out). MAYBE I’ll train twice if we get a ruck in. I’ve been able to get up to 6-7K in around 50 minutes.

Now, it’s almost July and now I’ve run into some health problems that has made me take some time off work. I’m spending most of my days on the couch and I know I will not be able to train at all until the problems resolve themselves. Now the real stinker is is that we’re moving very soon. We’ll be on vacation beginning of July, visiting family and camping before we come back home to pack and move out for August. And I know we’ll be so busy in August unpacking, getting started at new jobs, finding new doctors and things and all that fun stuff that comes with moving that I KNOW I will not be able to train.

I mentioned this to my fiancee and suggested we transfer our registration to the 5K event. He said no and that I just “need to train” - I know I need to train but nothing is gonna change in the 3 months we have left especially when 2 of those months are going to be dedicated to moving and vacation. So, what do you guys think? Do you think with my current ability and timeline that I’d be able to do the 15K or should I transfer to the 5K event?

I know what I think but I’m biased! Lol thanks guys

Selling Midlands Infinity Entry 4th July 2026

Selling an Infinity entry for the Midlands Tough Mudder event, 4th July 2026. Sadly can't do it for health reasons, but I have contacted TM support who have advised I can transfer this to someone.

Selling for £120, currently £190 on TM website (15k is £135+).

Hoping this can go to someone to be enjoyed!

Thanks.

INFINITY Q’s

Hi,
Similar to an older post but my Dad and I are doing the TM infinity Yorkshire and quite frankly we are a bit worried about the penalty system.

We aren’t exactly the most skilled athletes and have struggled with obstacles like funky monkey in the past. With the penalty system is there a chance we get disqualified as I know we both get ‘X’ amount of wristbands but what obstacles can lose you a wristband and what don’t? Also, suppose we do ‘Well Swung’ but don’t hit the bell (also a point of issue as neither of us are particularly tall) would that be a penalty?

Thank you in advance.

8am Twin Cities 15k solo

Hey there! If you're a new mudder and hitting the 8am start time for the 15k but don't want to be alone, feel free to hit me up. I gotta be chill this year since I'm pregnant, but I'm happy to buddy up and be a hypeman for any newcomers (you'll get extra cheering on the obstacles I can't go near -ie anything electric-). Looking forward to seeing y'all!
