And what if it isn't my plan then? Can I freely mention other countries ' companies or project there?

Hello, I am a senior in college in a U.S university, and I am really considering getting a masters degree abroad, specifically in Europe. Has anyone completed their masters abroad, if so how was it? i am interested in public administration/social sciences, I just don't know if getting a degree abroad would lessen my chances of finding a job in the U.S since the study is focused in another country. I am also applying to Fulbright as an ETA, i know spots are limited though so I still wanted to apply some other places abroad (as well as in the U.S) Any advice is appreciated... I have no idea what I am doing.

Germany is out because of the €11k blocked account requirement, so I’m currently thinking of doing my Bachelor’s in China and then heading to the US for my Master’s. Is this China-to-US path realistic, or are there better affordable options or scholarships I should check out instead

hi guys so school got over this april and uni starts by september 2 and i have to reach a week early to complete my registration (documents for student id) then get my agency ppl to start my iqama process, my dorm part is all set-and my roomie is super helpful she's a senior over there. i have to get an e-sim and then start a bank account.

i applied for my student visa today hopefully inshallah(pray for me) i'll get it early!! im also in the middle of my driving classes to get my license b4 leaving to turkiye this august and hopefully i dont fail any tests.

they said i have to get my transcripts grade 10,11,12 attested(i studied cbse in abudhabi) my grade 10,12 are cbse given trancript cum diploma and grade 11 is issued by the school.
the uni said they need adek ,mofa,turkish consulate attestaion for equivalency n stuff.

i have no idea how and what to do!!

Hello!! So, im looking to study international business at the University of Edinburgh!

During one of the years, it is mandatory to study abroad and i was curious if anybody went to study in south korea, as it is where it is the place im most lenient to go just because ive been interested into how marketing works over there. If not, im still just as curious, but do let me know your insights into what the process was like, budgeting, the living costs and the aprox price during your whole year, and just your general experience of it all!!

(Im looking specifically for univeristy of edinburgh students but i am also interested in univeristy of bristol. I plan to attend univeristy starting september 2027)

I am currently in my last year of high school and I want to know which countries are the best to study in abroad. Currently I'm from a lower income country so unfortunately I cant afford the top locations.

I want to study EE or mathematics

After doing some research I have narrowed it down to:

-Germany

-Hungary

-Malaysia

-Japan

-Czechia

I want to ask people who have studied in these countries or maybe taught in these countries how is the style of education is it more self taught like European universities or hands on where its like a USA style based teaching and you can ask questions directly to the professor ( as in have one in one convos). How is the quality of education? Since I have concerns from countries like japan that their mathematics aren't that strong so I would love to hear more in depth opinions. Last thing about the uni(s) itself how is the uni life is there. Are there student events that make the atmosphere feel lively? Are students encouraged to interact with each other and is there clubs?

Moreover the day to day life in said country how easy would it be for an english speaking person to get around the cities/towns. Is it safe for women to be walking alone at any time of day? I can't think of anymore in depth questions for day to day life but if anyone could share their personal experience I would love to hear it!

Furthermore how easy would it be to get a job with that degree from said country am I able to find well paying starting jobs in the country itself or abroad like in gulf countries

I apologize if my questions seem a bit generic but I really cant find honest opinions online from people who actually studied or lived there.

How is it like studying in Poland? How is the social life. Cuz i don't know any polish so I'm a bit worried that I won't be able to social with people or enjoy any uni activities.

I just graduated from high school in a third world country and things are not looking bright for me (Inflation, escalation of internal conflicts and poor education/job market). I have been browsing for a fully funded bachelor scholarships abroad for months, but they seem to be almost nonexistent and even if there are some funded opportunities, they often are reserved for graduate students. The thing is that I can afford tuitions which are in an affordable range (mostly Europe), but I don’t have a good bank statement at the moment due to my family’s financial situation, so that makes the chance of me getting rejected for a visa higher. Academically, I have given everything I have. I maintained a 90+ average throughout high school, ranked in the 5% of my class, earned a solid IELTS score, and built a decent list of extracurricular activities. I’m posting this because it has become beyond my ability and the continuous fear and stress about my future made my mental health worse. I would be deeply grateful for any support, whether that means university/vocational program suggestions, scholarship leads, or general advice on approaching this situation. If anyone working in higher education happens to read this (especially European), please know that if given a chance, I will work hard and prove to be a genuine asset to your institution. helloo, i’m an a levels student who wants to do maths/maths+cs at uni. my profile is quite strong; i have good grades and multiple top placements in national math olympiads n competitions. my main restriction is the fact that i cannot study in both america and the uk due to visa restrictions for my nationality.
i’m aware singapore is quite good but i’m not sure if taking the gap year (since i do a levels) would be the best move rn. canada too but just because it costs a lot and the aid is nowhere near what the US would have to offer.
i’d very much appreciate some suggestions so i can best plan ahead for my uni apps, thank you!

I’m an American and I took a gap year (well two years) and I’m trying to go back. I want to do something a little daring (also my community college is going to shit) and I applied for school in England and got a partial scholarship but it fell through because I got laid off and my mom needed help.

I’m thinking about trying to do it again especially because school in the mainland is just as pricey as it is abroad. Someone told me Spain and France are cheaper but what about language requirements? Which one is more accommodating? I’m looking and there is a lot of conflicting information so I thought maybe an Americans who did this might know

Hi. I’m planning to apply to US universities for 2027, and 1 of the requirements is the TOEFL. I've started looking into how to prep, and I'm a little stuck because the format changed this year, so a lot of the advice and videos I'm finding are clearly for the old version.

My question is: For those who took and passed the TOEFL, how long did you prepare for it? I'm currently relying only on YouTube videos and free practice tests from ETS. Would that suffice for a target of at least 110/120 score?

If not, I'm also researching these sites if they're worth it: study.com, magoosh, tstprep. Would love to hear really honest thoughts on this. Thanks!

I was accepted into a study abroad program at the University of Glasgow and leave in September, but I still have about a $12k funding gap after financial aid.
Scholarships haven’t worked out, and I’m looking into fundraising, sponsorships, and other options. Has anyone successfully funded study abroad through companies or other methods? Any advice would be appreciated.

I desperately want out of Canada, for personal reasons, and want to study abroad. I don't have the most money so I was looking for cheaper options. I only speak English (Being in said country I'd want to actively learn said language eventually)

I will be able to make 500 CAD / month + If I can work in the country I'm happy to do so while going to school there.

I have roughly 15k CAD saved up for school, that I can allocate to school at the moment as well, (Travel costs and such are separate). If I gotta get a student loan, I gotta, I get it.

I don't mind the cold (Canadian afterall), or the warmth to be honest, weather has never really affected me. I've travelled to hot and cold countries before.

My grades are quite good, and I would want to study history / adjacent category for major.

Hi all, I’m an American student accepted into masters program in Spain. I’ve been waiting for over a month to get my FBI background check apostilled. I finally got it and can schedule my visa appointment but I see that the consulate site now requires applications be in 2 months prior to study. I’m freaking out because my program starts in on the 14th of September- it’s currently July 21. Will I be flat out rejected? Does anyone have experience with this? Does anyone have experience with applying for a visa once in Spain?

For context, I live in the US and I am an EU citizen. I wanted to study abroad in France for a year, because I thought the experience would be good for my growth (iwantoutiwantoutiwantout). I just wanted some estimates on the cost. Like in total how much would I need monthly.
