My 15 year old daughter has a group of friends going to this years event, and she is really wanting to join them. Is Shaky Knees an appropriate/safe event for a group of 15 year olds?

Artist of the Day #40 - Peach Pit

Bio

Vancouver indie rock quartet Peach Pit combine jangling, uptempo guitar with melancholic lyrics, for a style that has been dubbed "sad pop." They released their debut album, Being So Normal, in 2017 through DIY indie label Kingfisher Bluez, naming it after negative feedback from the judges in a battle-of-the-bands contest. They went viral after a Filipina YouTuber shared their eponymous song on her popular channel, leading to breakout global success and a record deal with Columbia.

California festival veteran but first time at Shaky Knees (bought VIP) - Tell me more about this complimentary beer situation 🌞

My wife and I are so excited to be joining you guys this year. The lineup is unbelievably stacked for both of us. We've been to most of the big West Coast festivals (Coachella, EDC, among many others) but this is the first time we've had access to complimentary beer and beverages. I honestly didn't realize this was one of the VIP benefits when I bought the tickets - what an amazing unexpected value. :)

What kind of beverages did they have last year?

Any other advice for VIP or just the festival in general?

Thank you all in advance! Counting down the days!

Guys, can we all bring signs and try to get Twenty One Pilots to play Car Radio? I feel like it’s a very energetic, integral song that’s missing from the setlist. 😅

Lockers Outside Entrance?

While traveling to and from the venue, I want to carry something that is not allowed inside the venue. I want to securely store it outside before entering and then pick it up after I leave.

Are lockers or storage options available outside the venue's entrances?

Debuting in 2022 with the EP DOOM SONG, the pair went on to issue a run of singles and EPs before delivering their debut album, POSTINDUSTRIAL HOMETOWN BLUES, in 2024, and their sophomore album, NATIONAL AVERAGE, in 2025. Advice on buying for resale

I was hoping to get the 3 day pass for SK this year, but I dropped the ball and didn't grab it in time. I figured prices will drop as it gets closer to the dates, but wanted to see if any of yall have insight on what the best move is. I saw someone say in a post on here that Ticketmaster doesn't let you resell tickets for less than you bought them for, so I'm kinda nervous waiting is a lost cause. This would be my first SK so I'm wondering what anyone's past experiences have been buying resale tickets and if I should wait, or if I should even purchase though Ticketmaster. Any help is appreciated🙏

Artist of the Day #36 - Psychedelic Porn Crumpets

Bio

Australia's Psychedelic Porn Crumpets craft an exciting mix of sprawling, exploratory psych-pop, prog-rock, and heavy garage riffs. Formed in 2014, the band began working out of an old horse barn in rural Leederville, pooling their collective consciousness in all-night jam sessions. They rose quickly out of Perth's indie underground, earning a devoted fan base through hard touring and releases like 2016's High Visceral, Pt. 1, which fused bluesy riffs with experimental yet melodic guitar rock. Their sound became heavier and harder-edged in subsequent releases, featuring Black Sabbath-like riffs on their fifth album, Night Gnomes, and a mix of industrial metal, math rock, and atmospheric psychedelia on their most recent album, Carpe Diem, Moonman.

[Adapted from AllMusic]

For Fans Of: King Gizz, Osees, Tropical Fuck Storm, Frankie and the Witch Fingers

Scheduled: Saturday, 7:30 PM - 8:30 PM, closing Criminal Records (vs Pierce the Veil) AND Friday LN at The Earl (SOLD OUT)

Live Footage: Rooftop session for Night Gnomes and their old KEXP - can't find high-quality recordings of their recent stuff, but March on for Pax Ramona will be a beast live

Reddit Take of the Day: "just caught them on their 4th american tour and holy shit, they tore shit up in the middle of bum fuck nowhere Iowa, insanely good live and just oozing with technical skill holy crap, if you have an opportunity to go see them, do it, you will not regret it"

Artist of the Day #35 - FCUKERS

Bio

New York group Fcukers uses house beats, '90s-styled electronic sounds, and shout-along hooks to make their energized dance pop. They were started by Jackson Lewis, Ben Scharf, and vocalist Shannon Wise, who had all grown weary of indie rock and began experimenting with house, dubstep, and other modes of electronic dance music in the final months of 2022. The next year, they released their debut single, "Mothers," and collaborated on a remix project with LCD Soundsystem's James Murphy. Their debut full-length album, Ö, dropped in March 2026, and featured contributions from 100 gecs' Dylan Brady and Grammy-winning engineer Tom Norris.

Artist of the Day #34 - Congress the Band

Bio

Congress the Band is a rising Southern rock and soul‑infused ensemble that sprang from the grassroots music culture of Charleston, South Carolina, where a group of friends translated backyard jams and open‑mic nights into tightly executed originals rooted in groove, chemistry, and dynamic musicianship. Since their beginnings in 2023, the band has carved out a signature sound that merges the rhythmic swagger of Southern rock with soulful groove and blues‑leaning guitar work, showcased in breakout singles like “Out The Door” and energized further by subsequent releases that balance raw emotional narrative with layered instrumental interplay. Their technical approach marries sharp, unhurried musicianship — crisp, locked‑in grooves, tasteful guitar riffs, and warm, resonant vocals — with a live ethos that emphasizes communal connection rather than sheer volume, a combination that has seen them build momentum across the Southeast through packed venues and festival appearances. As they continue to refine their sound with each release and performance, Congress the Band’s blend of precision and spontaneity positions them as one of the most compelling acts emerging from the contemporary roots‑rock circuit.

For Fans Of: The Stews, The Gringos, Harvey Street

Scheduled: Saturday, 5:30 PM - 6:30 PM, Criminal Records (vs Jimmy Eat World)

Artist of the Day #33 - Twenty One Pilots

Bio

Twenty One Pilots are an aerial stunt team based out of Columbus, OH. Flying Lockheed F-16C Fighting Falcons, their live show features genre-mashing synchronized aerobatics, including stall turns, tail slides, and the infamous Cuban Eight. Unlike traditional stunt teams, their work develops a fictional backstory, in which an aviator named Clancy escapes a dystopian city in a Lockheed F-117 Nighthawk.

Some critics argue that twenty-one pilots is too many pilots. But their intense fan base does not mind, and will often camp out for days in ski masks and red beanies in order to get railed at their air shows.

For Fans Of: The Blue Angels, the Thunderbirds, the Patriots Jet Team

Scheduled: Saturday, 9:30 PM - 11:00 PM, Peachtree (unopposed)

Live Footage: Highlights from the Cleveland National Air Show 2025 OR montage of their ten most insane live stunts

Reddit Take of the Day: "Twenty one pilots has to be the most mid aerial stunt team ever to elicit such a fandom"

First time, biking/scooter parking

Hello all :) this will be my first time attending Shaky Knees. I will be staying near PCM and it looks like the Atlanta belt line is close and goes all the way to Piedmont Park. I was thinking of bringing a bike or electric scooter to travel the beltline to the festival. The map for this year hasn’t been released yet but last year there were two designated locations for securing bikes. Has anyone biked in before? Is it safe to secure bikes at the festival? Obviously I would bring locks but just curious about anyone else’s previous experience.

Artist of the Day #32 - The Prodigy

Bio

The Prodigy are an electronic dance music band that topped the charts in the 1990s, with smash-hit singles "Firestarter," "Breathe," and "Smack My Bitch Up." Founding member Liam Howlett describes their style as electronic punk. The group crossed over to the mainstream of pop music with an incendiary live experience that approximated the original atmosphere of the British rave scene, while drawing on arena rock showmanship and punk theatrics. Following the tragic death of vocalist Keith Flint in 2019, The Prodigy are returning to the road and planning to release their first album in eight years. Howlett describes its new style as "evil rave" music.
