I have a question about midi and the start and stop function from one to the next. Is there a setting on the j-6 p-6 and s-1 that I can change that allows the timing to be synced but not have one affect the other when playing the play button? I have all three set to midi and thru on. But when I press stop on one it stops the rest. What setting am I missing?

my dad bought a new audio interface, and i was given his old one. it's better than what i have currently, but the driver situation is terrible. there's no downloads for the windows 10 drivers because, allegedly, they're supposed to download automatically when i plug it in. i have deadass given this thing a whole hour and NOTHING.

i saw another post here saying the windows 8 drivers could work. i installed them normally, but one step of the installation requires me to plug it in to finish the installation and....... same thing. nothing.

so i was wondering if there's any fix to this. looking for it online only puts me onto some driver updater scam that feels like spyware or some shit. it seems like these drivers are genuinely not available anywhere.

I'm considering buying a Juno d8 but it has some broken keys anyone know how to repair them and if it's easy to replace keys on the d8? if anyone can provide service manuals that would be awesome.

Does Roland replace the internal battery when it eventually wears out?

If it takes too long, it might honestly be faster to just buy another one.

Hi guys I have akordeon Roland fr4x and wanna know how important sets for expands sound.

For information Indonit format all and expanded sounds was deleted and SET too for BASIC....

So I try re-upload by the manual.

I successfully imported expand sound to slot.

Now I when try import SETS Roland says empty....

I try create folder SET but not help. Even files of set sound in root of usb drive won't help...

Can somebody who have it can help me?

Does anyone believe there will be a successor to the Roland Fantom/Fantom EX? With current component and memory prices, it definitely wouldn't be cheap to manufacture a new flagship workstation.

Before when I had limited understanding of synthesis I did find this machine interesting thanks to the inviting way this had a lot of knobs and sliders compared to other synths around 8 years ago. So this became a purchase and unfortunately I didn't understand the plugout feature back then.

Fast forward today when my understanding of synths are a bit better I cannot be more happy owning this machine. I would say if you're not into GAS and more of getting your work done then this is a dream to have as a workhorse in the studio in combination with the Roland legendary VST that can run as plugouts on this machine. Not only is it extremely practical to be able to mix the VST plugins and just shot them out to the system 8 in case you crave for the hardware computation instead of the computer based one to generate the sound but also the ACB-technology sounds so good! Not to underestimate the system 8 VST plugin makes it very convenient to get more instances of the goodness in your project and then you can just send the patch over to the system 8 with the SEND button to render it later on from hardware synth. Vice versa if you made a fantastic sound on the hardware just press GET on the VST system 8 and it grabs the patch which makes the VST also as the perfect librarian. The plugins patch management are simple and useful in every aspect and it's easy to export the banks as BIN files.

This or Jupiter X with the ABM modeling? I think the Jupiter X is definitely more of the analogue workstation since zencore architecture offers 4 parts + 1 rhythm. And you can use zenology with expansion models on the computer. I think tho that sounds tends to lose a bit of punch and body as a VST when speaking about the expansion models but on the Jupiter X / Juno X you name it has the thickness and character we all do love. What I think makes the Jupiter X a bad investment is the lack of sending and receiving patches directly from zenology with model expansions to the Jupiter X and vice versa. If Roland added that feature I would undoubtable have the Jupiter X as my daily virtual analogue synth in front of me all the time. This is something that frustrates me a lot. I also think this would be a better step for Roland to make the model expansions + Zenology to be a given purchase for the users. But right now either use USB export import or the editor librarian which brings a huge time gap when a transfer is intended.

My hopes in future from Roland would be the SEND / GET method within the zenology and also I would think a renewal of the System 8 would be a lot appreciated such as a bit better hardware AT or PAT (not a huge PAT lover myself tho... but seems popular today). I just hope Roland will not give up the ACB but what I can Imagen is that it takes a lot of time to model a synth with the ACB. And least but not last JP-8000 would be a dream come true as ACB based VST / Plugout.

I just bought a Roland std sx pro. I made it work in logic pro x as internal device, so I can switch between midi (dmd) and internal.

But then I use midi as of my td 02 the sound is very low, can someone please help

Mi è stata regalata una roland E15 ma purtroppo non funziona. Ho provato ad aumentare e diminuire il volume e sento qualche piccolo rumore dalle casse, quindi immagino quelle funzionino. Inoltre ho provato a mettere il jack audio per le cuffie e anche in quel caso non sento suoni. Se provo a suonare o premere tasti non emette alcun suono. Ho provato a smontarla ma ad occhio non sembra che ci sia nulla di rotto. Avete suggerimenti ? Come posso ripararla ?

I'm wondering... would anyone like to test this TB-3 app? I'm still implementing the full FX options so it's not feature complete yet but I wanted a native version of the dope robot app.

I read I would need to pay $99 for an App Store account just to distribute test versions because it's fully native. Not sure if it's worth the time maintaining an app, but curious what the community thinks this would be worth if I bothered? If there was enough interest in the $5-10 (one beer?!) range I might go for it.

I could open source but I'm assuming most people just want an app to download and don't know how or want to bother with xcode.
