I finally got all of my polishes swatched (besides the 8 coming in the mail) but couldn’t figure out how/where to store them. Then I came up with an evil plan: I stole the banana hook holder thingymabob from our kitchen and brought it to my nail desk. HUZZAH. It’s perfect.

I know what you’re thinking though—what will my poor bananas do without their home? I just ordered a new banana holderama to arrive tomorrow, so they’ll only be without housing for one night. All’s well that ends well!

This polish is so beautiful! I especially love the blue shimmer. The colors remind me of images of Earth from space!

I saw this on Corvidnails insta story this morning and it doesn't look like it's been shared here yet (if it has I apologize, it didn't pop up when I searched the brand name). Just a heads up that they think they own your content for free if you tag them in your swatches. Not sure this is even legal, doesn't seem like it should be based on my tiny knowledge of copyright law, but we live in unprecedented times and I don't want anyone who swatches accidently giving away their work for free.

I do my nails on and off so not really an all the time thing. However the second I put some on I notice how much is use my nails. Ring pulls, peeling off stuff, scrubbing something. It all just chips super quick. So question, do you remove it and reapply when it chips, try and fill in the cracks, or just accept it’s going to chip and live with it.

I've traditionally been a Salley Hansen girlie but you all have taught me about indie polishes so I had to give them a go. I am ✨️OBSESSED✨️ with how magnetics look and I was literally squealing when I did my first finger and it worked!

My question is: WHY?!?

We already know from swatches (and come on, just from looking at the bottles) that these are in no way duochromes and have absolutely no color shift. What was the point of releasing a line of plain metallics and blowing smoke up our asses? Why not just market it as a line of metallics? That could have sold perfectly well, instead of pissing people off by lying to them and insulting their intelligence.

I know pride was last month for most people, but pride is this month where I live. I couldn't go because I am sick right now, but I did some fun nails!

I was originally only going to put the rainbow on the middle finger, y'all know why in this political climate, but it was too pretty to not have it on more fingers.

Next time I'd love to do the inclusive pride flag! But this time I just really wanted to use neons :)

I’ve been waiting for the right time to do Ghoul’s Garden and wow it did not disappoint.

Some of the most magical nails I have had in a while. In low light, the shimmer goes almost completely blue/green, but there is also a sort of pink undertone that makes me think of fairy wings! It literally looks like it's glowing. This is my first time using a KBShimmer colored polish, and the formula really impressed me. Very thin (which is my preference), and packed with this frost that was much easier to remove from my cuticles than I expected.

The second and third pics are before topcoat, but the full application was
1x KBShimmer Hydrating Base Coat
2x ILNP Poised (Super sheer "mannequin nude" polish with warm iridescent flakes; I was expecting that the KBS polish would be a complimentary topper, but it's so intense you can't even see the polish underneath lol)
1x KBShimmer Frequent Flyer (yes, one coat! I did add a second thin coat to my thumb just to smooth out brush strokes, since this polish can be sensitive to show shimmer lines)
1x Cracked QDTC

First time trying magnetic polish. I feel like the bead could be much better! Is this something that DRK Magic Effect will help with? Or is there something else I should do?

Finally got round to trying Unbreakable by Nothing Basic, a green to blue to purple to pink to orange multimag with Holo sparkle. She's lovely. Kept the out of focus start of the video because she looks a lot smoother in person - the camera seems to pick up the particles more than my eyes! Please ignore the junk in the background (cat not included).

Used a horseshoe mag on top of a fidget spinner for the second coat of unbreakable and the top coat.

Omg. I finally got a 30lb horseshoe magnet! This is the first time my mani actually looks like what I was hoping for! Holy shitballs. I normally go for dark or crazy colors, but I found myself drawn to the delicacy of this shade 🐚

No base because lazy
2 coats ILNP Velveteen: first coat normal, 2nd coat magnetized with horseshoe on top of 5D glass bead spinner
1 coat Sally Hansen red bottle QDTC, magnetized again

It definitely dispersed a bit overnight but this is literally the nicest a magnetic has ever looked on my nails!

anyone have any dupes for this gorgeous olive-bronze ernie ball guitar? it's packed full of glitter. i'm obsessed. it would be such a sultry nail color on me a pale olive girly 🫒

I think the closest one I have is ILNP’s Opal Sunset

I recently got my first bottle of KBShimmer Restoration Drops…are there polishes I shouldn’t add this to? I feel like I’ve read that glitters and thermals are a no-go but can I add it to all the other formula types? Base coats? Top coats? QDTCs? Thanks 💅

This is ILNP - Dopamine, and, Emily de Molly - Survey Results.

I would say that Survey Results has slightly larger particle size with the holo microflakes, but it is almost undetectable when swatched.

I was mentally prepared (but still devastated) to cut all of my nails down after my pinky broke. I went to my nail lady yesterday so that she could do the deed for me, and she suggested that instead of bringing them ALL down to shorty length, to just trim them down some so that they still have some length but aren’t as dramatically different. I really like the results and I know that that’s all that matters, but I’d like to hear some outside opinions.
