Hello, incoming student and I'm interested to know exactly how expensive are the a la carte meals in the dining hall. On average, how much is the whole meal (not individual items, drinks, or snacks but the entire meal)?
It's not really well described how the whole thing works on the website, can someone shed some light on the specifics and general pricing?

Hamden CT residents are paying a mil rate of 54% - the HIGHEST in the State of CT. A year at QU to live on Campus is about $80k a year. QU also has a very large endowment and has plenty to cover all of their operating costs without having to increase tuition to cover them. Yet, the town of Hamden and their residents suffer.
Who would ever want to live in a town where you pay so much in property taxes while the biggest land owner in your town is sitting on tax free land? How will QU and their students feel if the town of Hamden dies around them… no shops, restaurants, people to come to home games etc…
It’s really disappointing and I expect more from QU. I finally understand the town vs gown drama from when I was a student.
Look just down the street and Yale provides New Haven with funding to help offset their property tax and there is ABSOLUTELY NO REASON QU cannot do the same.
If anyone on this thread knows what QU is doing to support Hamden please share it here and let us know.
Oh and $25k for a MURAL no one in the town likely even wants doesn’t count.

Hello! I am an incoming sophomore at QU and theres a Kevin Atwater show near QU that I'm interested in attending. If anyone is interested in going with me that would be awesome! I'll be 18 so I wont be drinking, but it is at a bar so other ppl will be (in case that makes or breaks it for anyone).
I'll have my car so I can drive us, and I'm willing to buy both tickets! His music is kinda indie-folk-ish if anyone wants to go and see an artist thats new to them, but I'm bad at genres so definitely do your own listening first lmao. It'll be a tour for his new album Blush Red which isnt fully out yet.
Please reach out if you're interested, so we can get to know each other a bit instead of going as complete strangers lol. I'll be away from my phone through July, but I can respond anytime this week or at the beginning of august!

I’m going to be an incoming freshman this fall and I was wondering how the quads are. I’ve seen them and I like them but I mostly talking about personal experiences. Ik Quads are Ledges and Commons so any experiences in those halls specifically will help. Thanks in advance.

Hello,
We attended the admissions open house yesterday and my daughter really loved the campus and the vibe of the school. We were curious to hear some opinions from current students on the dining halls, especially Mount Carmel and York Hill. Quality of the food, value, variety, attention to dietary restrictions, etc.
Thank you!

I got accepted into the honors program I was wondering the pros and cons of it and what it offers.

I got invited to the program and all it says is write an "essay describing yourself", I don't want to write to little or much, so on average how long should the response be?

Hi I’m planning to go to Quinnipiac as a first gen Asian. I know that a lot of the population is white and was wondering if there’s any racism or harassment just in case.

What is the quinnipiac party scene like? What is security like with drinking and smoking and how easy is it to get stuff if I were to attend. And do frats make a difference, if so what are the best party frats. If you don’t want to say anything publicly you can send me a dm. Quinnipiac is one of my top choices and I just want to understand the social parts of the school.

Hey guys, just wanted to share since it might be helpful to some. if you're looking for a flexible side job or are part of clubs and stuff look into paid ambassador programs/brand partnerships. i started doing this sophomore year when my friend suggested it to me and it has made me good money/helped with saving my club's budget when organizing my social events. i find most of my gigs by checking handshake, an app called home from college, and specific company websites (sometimes they will have a dedicated page called college ambassador program)

Hi - Does anyone know roughly what percentage of students participate in athletics (both varsity and club)? I’m curious whether being athletic or playing a sport is important for having a good experience and finding your community there.

I was accepted to the 3+1 for accounting. I was looking for some feedback on how anyone is enjoying the business programs at Quinnipiac, outcomes, or the 3+1 program? Also curious about the 3+1 or honors LLC? Thanks

Does anyone have any feedback on Quinnipiac’s business program? How are they enjoying? Was accepted to accounting 3+1 and wanted to hear and get any feedback if possible. Also, how is the honors or business 3+1 LLCs? Do people enjoy the LLCs? Do you recommend and which one? Thanks!
