Why do I have poutine cravings ALL THE TIME?
Is it because I'm Canadian?

Hi folks. I spent a few days in reddit jail and while there I noticed someone mention a post was a bot made repost of one of theirs. Does anyone know what post it was? 7 days worth of poutine posts ends up being quite a bit lol.
Please remember, if your post gets reposted by a bot, comment with a link to your OP, and then flag the post with the reason being a bot repost. I will be adding bot reposts to the list of options you can select from. honestly, you could even dm me, I don't care, I'd rather the post be removed
Thank you for helping to keep the bots at bay. The days are getting colder and the delicious warmth of poutine is starting to be even more appreciated. I hope you get a bite of that warmth today friends.

Earlier this year I posted asking for suggestions for Montreal poutine spots as I was planning a 2 day motorcycle trip where I would only eat poutine.
I did the trip but I had to cut it down to 1 night. I hit 3 places. Here is my reviews.
First stop of the trip was Votre Maison for lunch. I was very hungry as I was about 7 hours on the bike and I skipped breakfast. This poutine just by appearance blew me away. Seeing it in person is so much better than pictures on this reddit. Hands down the best poutine I had ever. It was my favorite stop of my trip.
Second stop was for dinner and was at Alfa. I was still a little full from lunch but this poutine was amazing. Gravy has a slightly different taste than Votre Maison. Was 100% worth the stop.
I woke up the next morning and after a tour of Montreal I hit up La Belle Province. This after the previous 2 poutines was slightly underwhelming. Still a very good poutine but I feel neither places stood up to Votre Maison.
This is a new yearly tradition. I loved Montreal. Touring around the bike was fun. I need to learn more about Montreal and where to sight see.

4th Poutine in Montreal. I was in the mood for fun toppings. I was... skeptical at first, the menu seemed a bit wack on paper.. but honestly... It was amazing. I got pulled pork, bacon and apple slices. My GF got smoked meat, pickles and coleslaw. Both were delicious! We got lucky and didn't have to wait in line. Great experience

Delicious but the curds melted almost immediately.

Curds were not fresh but the sauce and fries were phenomenal

I meant la Belle Province! Solid showing: hot fries, hot gravy and real curds. The gravy was a little on the sweet side. I prefer a brown gravy.

Fromagerie St Albert in Eastern Ontario. Plenty of cheese to pay the obligatory cheese tax!

It was a bit different from other spots I've experienced. From the thinner cut fries to the olive based sauce. It wasn't heavy at all on my belly. Overall, amazing poutine

My first La Belle Province Poutine. Definitely worth the hype. Everything was just right. Good squeeky curds. Sauce was a delight and lightly coated every potato. I'm a fan.

Had to make the trip across the Bay after seeing Beard Meats Food at Big D's Poutine...and it did not disappoint! I got the regular size Spicy Buffalo Chicken Poutine and could barely finish that! It was the best poutine I've had this summer and is going to be touch to beat! Highly recommended!

Top 3 poutines I've ever had in my life. I made a reddit account just to post this poutine because it was THAT good

This one is the bomb! I can't recommend this spot enough, it was sooooo....fn good. Their club sandwich was awesome too.

Very unassuming little trailer serving up poutine in a giant industrial parking lot off Fairview. Owner is a bit of a character but very friendly and outgoing. One of the better poutines I’ve had in the GTA and certainly worth checking out if you find yourself in Burlington.

Got it from a beach shack in Ottawa. Layering was just right. Everything wasn’t flooded in gravy and the fries didn’t get soggy on me even though they were likely a Walmart freezer special. Curds were squeaky too.

Medium 8.95 Repas Minute in Richmond, QC

Victoria Formagerie in Trois-Rivères.
Warning blasphemy
Had proper poutine a few times as I traveled through Quebec on my way to and back from the Atlantic provinces. Both in these fast food style places and road side shacks.
Squeaky curds actually ruin poutine for me. It's like chewing into the food equivalent of nails on chalkboard. Why doesn't it melt under the gravy?
Honestly prefer A&W poutine over any of these authentic ones I've had.

Extra st laurent curds, popcorn chicken & hot chicken sauce, delicious !
