My kid noticed a change in theirs this morning (I don't have a personal font set to my phone, so I didn't notice anything much different).

I used to log into my pandora account when I went home and left it logged in for years. Long story short, I ended up with some stations for artists I wasn't interested in. After signing out of my account on all devices, I deleted those stations. But I just noticed the thumbs up playlists for those stations I deleted are still in my collection. And I am not seeing any way to just delete those playlists or remove songs from those playlists.

Based on what I've found online, the only way to delete those playlists is to go back into the stations and remove the thumbs up from those songs. Is that accurate?

I applied to Pandora on the 7th July - when can I expect to hear back?

Also - did anyone else find applying through the AI chatbot sort of strange?

After paying for an account for the past 10 years and having it for more than 12 years I might finally stop paying for pandora. It seems every two-three songs I get some AI slop of a song, check the credits and info and it’s all clearly ai. Some are even nice enough to credit suno AI in credits but not all do. Don’t know exactly what my route is now. Spotify is the same if not worse.

I have been running pihole for 6 months on 2 older laptops. I'm also using unbound, tailscale, and keepalived. Tailscale lets me use my iphone away from home and take advantage of pihole. I'm using the free version of Pandora on a Roku streaming stick 4k. Pihole does block the ads. When it's time for an ad, I just get silence for the 2-3 minutes the ad would take. It then resumes playing the next song. I hadn't used the Pandora app on my iphone in a while, so I recently used it. NO ADS and NO break in the stream. It plays uninterrupted. So I thought I would test something else. I also have an Amazon Firestick 4k. I installed the Pandora app, and started streaming. It works like my iphone-NO ADS and NO break in the stream. One further test I tried. I have a Vizio smart tv. I did the same thing-installed Pandora and started streaming. Again no ads and just smooth streaming!

I really hate making my first post about Pandora customer service, but holy hell I'm, just trying to purchase a premium plan and can't get traction with any customer service person to answer a question....I need a password reset, and have questions about pricing (why is the advertised price different than the plan I'm trying to purchase?)

does anyone have a backdoor to a customer service rep? I keep getting case numbers assigned through chat, but nothing comes through in email. not a way to run a business....

having said that, I've been with Pandora for a long time, around the time of inception and really thought the genome method of finding "like" music was novel.

I have no issues playing Pandora on my phone. Other apps on the Firestick work fine. I made sure the firestick is up to date. I uninstalled and reinstalled the Pandora app. I cleared cache and data. I can't get it to advance beyond the main blue screen with the Pandora logo. Any advice?

For years I have just streamed to my desktop speakers from my laptop at the office. Recently a VPN change has me all screwed up as my location went from Arkansas to Toronto (go figure) which geolocked out pandora. I don't want to use my phone and a bluetooth speaker as the shop is large and I have to get up with my phone and perform various tasks and would rather not disconnect/reconnect every time I return.

Now I am not opposed to laying my 20 year old Cambridge SoundWorks dell speakers to rest and buying something modestly priced that may be a bit smaller physically. Do you have any recommendations for a device to perform this task.

Hello! My pandora is not playing music at all. I tap in the song and nothing happens. Im on a Fold 6 with the latest version of the app

I've been a user for about 20 years, and I'm surprised to see something recent around playlist crossovers.

I've had some of these playlists for 20 years, believe it or not, and made a few around the names of my elementary school and my junior high school and high school.

So they're very definitive, music collections of music that was in that particular era.

The past year, I discovered a band that I really like that's modern and I can't really even figure out if it's really a band or a collection anyway, I created a couple stations for that band and some of the similar "genes".

I listened to it quite a bit, but now I'm seeing how those songs that I like are showing up in some of these more date driven or era driven playlist. Has anyone else experienced something you like in one playlist seeping into another playlist that has honestly very few genetic connections that I can see.

I use Pandora to discover music of various genres. One thing i do is if ive already "discovered" an artist i like, i get some of their albums and start listening to their music independently. Then ill start "thumbs downing" their other tracks on that station, since im not interested in "discovering" those songs again. But the popup i just read said something like "we won't play further songs like this". Now im wondering if there are other effects of the thumbs down other than just nixing that one song

It's not an ad, it's a podcast...that's odd..

Pandora had changed my "shuffle" of all stations, to a podcast... I've never had that happen...

To boot, this podcast was no where close to any of the other podcasts I have listened to...it's labeled as science, (which I don't mind,) and mine were motivation/entrepreneur/business on this device and account...

All possible, (user side) cross app tracking, ad ID removed, etc..including developer optionsm...

Bug reports, snoop logs, etc.. all information can gain, I SHOULD be able to read the script and find out...(even though I haven't yet.)

Paid security, private DNS with backups...etc...

Basically everything but a VPN, and not rooted, was in play...

So after 45 mins of research the only thing I, and multiple AI systems, could come up with was maybe, (no data to support;) ;)

-free ad watched upgrade, time limit expired (no I don't pay for Pandora as it's been getting worse with the repeats.)

-switched to a podcast. (I cannot find any data of this happening to anyone and never has for me)

-found a random podcast and played it, instead of any numerous ones I listen to..

The amount of frustration I have with this app trying to get a good experience while using CarPlay is on another level. Constantly bouncing to random stations, playing the same song, defaulting to random single song loops.

I’m in the car, I don’t want to babysit this app, it’s dangerous.
