researched that these 1.6 watt blue laser are dangerous due to being so cheap and easily accessible

Extremely irresponsible pricing for a 1.6 watt blue laser at between 60-90 dollars and a 50 dollar pair of laser glasses

Just explained this in another comment to a guy. China manufactures it for almost nothing thanks to massive state subsidies and then dumps it for nothing around the world. It's quite dangerous.

Lol it's written that way because I originally posted it in a flock camera destruction thread

If some horribly irresponsible person were to try this, wouldn't they be recorded in the moments leading up to the sensors being destroyed?

Why, of course! Such terribly miscreant people would obviously have terrible miscreant masks. I'm not a terrible miscreant, so I would obviously never think of that!

There's been multiple posts on reddit about lasers blinding pilots, athletes, police, etc, but people are vastly unaware of it. Better for people like you to keep educating others.

thanks to massive state subsidies

Oh like in America then, where big corporations get massive subsidies via "tax breaks", regulatory exceptions, and government contracts.

if you go on ebay you can find even cooler chinese hardware with mysteriously missing paperwork on specs, where it even came from and stuff.

People should flock to this website but absolutely take safety precautions!

Real talk though, it's very dangerous and you shouldn't do this in a public place like a city street.
