I can get 100fps but it averages 60~80 with 70C Cpu on a heavily modded save with high settin. I almost never have crashes and when I do it’s because of me messing around and it’s still hard to crash. 10/10 you should buy it

This has happened a few times now with my Yoga Pro 9i - I close the lid at night when it's plugged in, and in the morning, it's just sitting there baking. I did a few of the obvious things...

Changed the "What happens when I close the lid" in Power Options from Sleep to Hibernate. No change. Then I changed that from Hibernate to Shut Down, but doing so is not that convenient for on-the-go use around the house.

My BIOS is up to date, and I now use the Legion Toolkit instead of Vantage, but the overheating happens in both cases.

Have you folks tried disabling the Windows Modern Standby feature? Don't know if our BIOS allows that, nor if it's a good idea.

I'm unsure of restarting in case something goes wrong?

hello i have my lenovo yoga slim 7 for 2.5 years now and lately it’s been overheating like crazy. when i have opportunity i borrow cooling pad from my sister but when i’m home alone i can’t do much about it. last night i was playing league and it crashed completely. my whole screen froze and today when i wanted to play my fps is extremely low. i usually goes around 50-60 even more but now it won’t go higher than 20. is it a weird coincidence or is it somehow linked to this?

I have a 2023 yoga 7i 16.5. I had had a faulty track pad with in the first year of owning it. It works sometimes. I always feel like it works amazing on a fresh install and then drivers update and it goes to shit. I need to find proper drivers on a fresh install and stop updates for the track pad. Never done this before. Has anyone else had this issue. I don’t have the money to replace and I would love to keep it out of a landfill

I recently had my Lenovo IdeaPad Slim 3 serviced under warranty in India. The issue was only a charger replacement, but the authorized service center asked me to submit both the charger and the laptop.

The laptop remained with the service center from 5 July to 21 July 2026. After I got it back, I found a folder on my Desktop that I had never created. According to its properties, it was created on 10 July 2026, while the laptop was still at the service center.

The folder was about 10 GB in size and contained thousands of files, including what appeared to be another person's personal photos and documents. I took screenshots and a screen recording before deleting it because I wasn't comfortable keeping someone else's private files.

I've already reported the incident to Lenovo India's escalation team and submitted the evidence for investigation.

I'm not accusing anyone of intentional misconduct. I'm simply wondering if anyone else has experienced something similar after Lenovo warranty service and how Lenovo handled it.

So i got a tab pro gen 2 with the tab plus and my main use case is taking notes . The temperature gets high after like a 90min of notes taking and after a few mins there is a delay in the pen . I use goodnotes which was preinstalled . So is it a product issue or is it just how it works

hi ive uninstalled the lenovo vantage app because i wanted to make my own custon power saving modes. after doing so i still am able to use the fn keys (fn+q) to change the mode. I created new power plan on control panel and still has no effect/9no change in cpu usage and other). can someone help me disalbe the presetted power functions from lenovo?

최근까지도 잘 사용하던 제 노트북이 하루 사이에 벽돌이 되어 이렇게 글을 쓰게 되었습니다.

문제가 터지기 하루 전날에도 잘 사용하던 노트북을 전원을 종료하기 위해 전원 버튼을 눌렀습니다.

업데이트 후 종료하기 버튼만 있더라고요. 전 사실 이때 정말 업데이트 하고 싶지 않았어요.

그럼에도 선택을 할 수 없는 상황이니 그냥 눌렀죠.

그리고 다음날 제 노트북이 죽었습니다.

화면에 boot menu만 나올 뿐이에요. manager를 누르면 화면이 한번 꺼지고 다시 boot menu로 돌아와요.

그래서 복구 USB를 만들었어요.

하지만 복구도 안돼요.

윈도우 설치하기 화면에서 내 컴퓨터 복구 하기 버튼을 누르면 되는 것 같이 나오다 다시 윈도우 설치하기 화면으로 뜨거든요.

그래서 저의 ssd가 망가졌나 확인 하기 위해 외장케이스를 주문했어요.

컴퓨터에 꽂아보니 잘 작동이 됩니다. 내용도 그대로고요.

ssd 카드가 망가진게 아니였죠.

그래서 명령 프롬프트를 켜고 문제를 찾기 시작했어요. 제 chatGPT와 함께요.

결과는,

• ✅ EFI 파티션 정상
• ✅ BCD 정상
• ✅ Windows Boot Loader 정상
• ✅ bootmgfw.efi 존재

My fiance uses the Hibernate function on his IdeaPad Slim 3 laptop a lot, but recently hibernation hasn’t been working properly. We configured the power button to hibernate the laptop whether connected to power or running on battery.

However, for the past two days, when pressing the power button or selecting Hibernate from the Start menu, the laptop appears to hibernate but the LED light to the left of the power button keeps pulsing indefinitely. The laptop does not wake up when pressing the power button or any key. The only way to wake it up is to long‑press the power button until the LED stops pulsing, then press the power button again. At that point, the laptop wakes up normally and Windows resumes from hibernation.

I have followed all the suggestions that Claude and Copilot gave me: updating drivers, reinstalling ACPI devices, clearing the hibernation cache file with powercfg, restarting… but nothing seems to work.

In this state, the Hibernate function is not useful. Any ideas?

Hello, At the start of the week I bought myself a Lenovo Ideapad 5 slim as an ex display laptop, When I bought the laptop it came pre loaded with Windows Retail, one of the workers from Officeworks (whom I bought the laptop from) tried removing windows retail for me before I had walked out the store, in the end after not being able to remove it via the rdx menu he tried to install a fresh copy of windows via an external drive to which he had no luck, he asked if I knew how to do it which I said yes to and he gave me the laptop and I went on my way, It is now late Wednesday night and after trying so many times to remove this demo mode I have made no progress, I have tried everything, All recovery options in the windows interface is admin locked with no option to input a password, every time I try to do a reset via the side button or bios I get a stop code that says Internal power error, I am now at the stage of installing a fresh install off of a brand new ssd and I am stuck in a screen that says Install driver to show hardware in windows setup, I have tried two separate ISO files as this specific laptop is running off of a Snapdragon X which needs an ARM install rather than your typical windows install, i have tried the Lenovo program aswell to get the correct files in which both attempts have taken up to 6 hours+ with no success, I have tried absolutely everything, if I can not get it to work tonight I will be taking the laptop back tomorrow, is there any suggestions or anything that I might be missing as I feel like every time I make some form of progress I hit a brick wall. log on the event viewer, then the laptop restarts after a green screen, and it's completely back to normal.

Recently, I also saw error code DPC WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (0x133), after hibernating and booting it up.

I did some research and it all points to PCIE root port 21, which I believe is the one connecting to the SSD, the laptop is also super dusty but I don't know if that is something which is affecting this.

What I tried: Updating the drivers Finding bios settings related to PCIE that I changed, but there were none Check disk (All good)

I think that the SSD itself is alright, the port connecting to the motherboard is not functioning properly, but I am no expert and I will appreciate your reply!
