Match Day Vibes 2x free tix to tonight’s game! See post for deets!

Upvotes

Wife and I have amazing season tix (section 132) smack dab in the middle! Sadly, we woke up sick today and can’t make it :/ Was trying to give it a few hours to see if we felt better but not looking good. We’d give to our core galaxy family/friends, but they are busy too and it’s super last second.

So tickets are up for grabs! Comment your interest in the chat and I’ll randomize selection (or just give them to whoever I think most deserves them - hasn’t been to a game before, can ABSOLUTELY go, etc)

I’ll select and send around 12:30pm, so just be near your DMs. Goooo G’z!

12:28pm EDIT: OK VOTING IS CLOSED! THANK YOU FOR PLAYING! GOING TO REVIEW NOW AND PROVIDE AN UPDATE SHORTLY

12:31pm EDIT: OK here are the three comments I'm most compelled by. Because of that, I'll be choosing at random:

  • u/equalGsins86: Hasn't made it to a single game all year and just wants to treat his wife to a much-needed night out!
  • u/jkrowlingrapeskids: Him and wifey are completely broke right now but he's dying to get out there and chant with the ACB tonight!
  • u/KiwiTerry: Hasn't been able to go all year either and is trying to officially convert his buddy into a true Galaxy fan!

THE WINNER IS: u/equalGsins86 😄 I'll be DM'ing shortly. Thanks everyone!

The Galaxy will be compensated by Miami for Casemiro’s discovery rights, but that amount will be determined, in part, after the conclusion of the tampering investigation.

Going to one of my first Galaxy games today and was wondering if I’d get a ticket if I were to park in one of the residential streets around the stadium

Curious George(question) Things to know for my first game?

Hey everyone, sorry if this kind of post is annoying, but as someone who never watched soccer before I ended up having a really fun time following the World Cup and I wanna start following MLS now. Me and my wife are looking at attending our first Galaxy game in the next month or so and I was wondering are there any suggestions regarding where to sit? I want to sit near Galaxy fans and preferably be close to some high energy cheering sections.

Also wanted to ask about tailgating! Dumb question, but I've never been to one for any sport before. Does it happen before every game? Do we just walk around and say hi to people?

Lastly I'm still deciding which game to go to. If you had to choose which game to attend between the upcoming games against FC Dallas, Earthquakes, Revolution, or Sounders, does any stand out in particular as being a fun matchup?

Thanks!

Discussion PODCAST: LA Galaxy Searching for Answers After El Tráfico Disaster | Can They Turn It Around?

Thumbnail cornerofthegalaxy.com

COG STUDIOS, Calif. -- The LA Galaxy didn't just lose to LAFC—they may have reached the defining moment of their 2026 season.

Following a disappointing 3-0 defeat in El Tráfico, the Galaxy suddenly find themselves facing difficult questions about their roster, their attack, their playoff hopes, and whether time is beginning to run out for Greg Vanney.

On this episode of Corner of the Galaxy, Josh Guesman is joined by LA Times soccer reporter Kevin Baxter to examine what happened at Dignity Health Sports Park—and why the performance may have revealed much deeper issues than a single rivalry loss.

Are the Galaxy simply shorthanded after the departure of Gabriel Pec? Or are there structural problems that can't be solved until the transfer window delivers reinforcements?

The discussion dives into the lack of attacking depth, the pressure now facing Will Kuntz and the front office, and why every match before the Leagues Cup break could determine whether the Galaxy remain in the playoff race -- or begin planning for 2027.

The show also explores:

  • Why the Galaxy's offense has stalled since Gabriel Pec's departure
  • Whether Robert Taylor can provide immediate help
  • Greg Vanney's tactical options with a depleted roster
  • The latest transfer speculation and Designated Player outlook
  • Why Maya Yoshida's return and other injured players may not be enough
  • How MLS missed a massive opportunity following the 2026 FIFA World Cup
  • The importance of Wednesday's matchup with St. Louis City SC and why it already feels like a must-win.

Josh and Kevin also tackle one of the biggest questions surrounding the club:

If help isn't arriving immediately, how does this team survive the next month?

It's an honest conversation about the Galaxy's current reality—what can be fixed, what can't, and whether the organization still has enough time to rescue a season that appears to be slipping away.

If you're wondering whether the Galaxy are still capable of making a playoff push, whether Greg Vanney is coaching for his future, or what moves could reshape this roster before the transfer window closes, this episode has the insight you're looking for.

🎙️ Listen now to Corner of the Galaxy as Josh Guesman and Kevin Baxter break down one of the most important weeks of the Galaxy season—and explain why the next few matches could define the future of the club.

Venting Away Fans

Why do they allow those shit and infestation fans to bring whatever they want when they come?? Its all the fucking time. Who is in charge of security? This FO is so fucking soft. They always bring either fireworks, flares, balloons, posters, etc.

And they leave their hardcore and diehard fans to deal with their shenanigans. Its a sad look. They would never ever allow Galaxy fans be that welcoming.

Curious George(question) Herbalife?

Post image
32 Upvotes

We just finished renting a film, after which Apple was yelling about “Trafico”-MLS etc so I put it on. It’s the Christmas season, eh?

But… what? In what world is this a reasonable sponsor? LA Galaxy is a profitable sports franchise. And they have the LA market. This is so incredibly (wreckless and deplorable and [insert synonym] but most importantly) avoidable. Make it make sense.

If this were intentional comedy, it’d be genius. Or maybe Enron? Though Enron probably has done more legitimate business, to be fair.

In the absence of logic (which I have a hard time believing is even possible), this is the single most unserious thing I’ve ever seen in American sports…

*EDIT: I could not have scripted this better.. a girl is over (and was outside with the dog when I put this on), came back inside and immediately: “do those jerseys say Herbalife?”
