I have an OG Green Bigfoot w/G23LH motor. I installed an ADA 54mm clutch, ADA 3rd bearing support with posilockock down. I need to buy a clutch spacer so the lock down will fit properly. Also I bought the adapter bolt for the lockdown arm with spacer and the bolt will definitely be too short but I can fix that. My main issues are what length of motor mounts screws do I need to make up room for the spacer and clutch? Second off. Which spindle do I need? BF long drive spindle for 3rd bearing support? I bought the ada long drive spindle for clutch but that doesn’t work with the 3rd bearing and nor does my stock spindle. And also since the motor is going to be moved back would I need a longer spindle blot like a 50mm instead of a 45mm?

I’m brand new to this hobby, I only got into it after I scored the Bigfoot from Facebook marketplace for like 50 bucks. I know what I wanna do engine wise and all that. I just need to get these few things squared away and taken care of properly because I would like to do it right

Im looking to trade my 40 rino pipe its pointed down too far and is burning my chain, ive moved it up and im at the end of the turn buckle, I dont wanna keep raising my engine to move or away from my chain I wanna trade someone pipe for pipe. So i have a trail ripper quad that needs 1:20 mix a franken gsr that also needs 1:20 and a gsr that takes 1:50 mixture. If im correct the only downside putting the 1:20 in the 1:50 would be that the spark plug would idk the english but like tar up and a little adjustment for more air and it would probably smoke more correct?

Anyone have throttle cable and/or kill switch grounding out issues before?

I've got a brand new throttle cable, brand new motor on a super bigfoot. Broke in the motor, everything was perfect no issues. Went on first ride just limping it around the block a few times. Tune was perfect it seemed so I went home.

Next day I pulled it out again, went for a short limp around the block and made it a block then it seamed the tune fell off a cliff and I couldn't find the right tune to recover. So I went home and messed with the tune for a hour. Just couldn't get the motor to run out. Hitting the throttle would instantly kill the motor.

Then I tried the butterfly valve on the carb and the motor would rev out just fine. So it's the throttle cable or kill switch. I ended up pulling the fan cover off and on 10 times before I said fuck it and totally removed the handlebar kill switch.

So it now runs and rides with use of the throttle like normal. The engine mounted kill switch still works but no handlebar Killswitch.

What did I do wrong or should I just sell it and get another gsr? I do spy a nice few gems on the ole ebays..

New here looking for parts for my vintage mosquito brand gas powered scooter. I believe it has a 26 cc engine and I am looking for the complete plastic shroud that goes over the top of the engine and down between the engine and the transmission. Any advice is welcomed and thank you.

Recently put a DDM Dominator on my X-Ped to give myself a solid relapse into this hobby (Originally started in 2003). This thing is pretty slow compared to my old Sikk piped RC, but I'm having a ton of fun doing some testing and tuning. Basically DDM Dominator on a 0.800 gives you nearly the same acceleration as a 0.600 on stock exhaust in the midrange, but far greater top speed. Or, the DDM Dominator + 0.800 combo will achieve a higher RPM than stock exhaust with a 0.600. Many different ways too look at the data. Edit: The charts are a little confusing, one is RPM vs Time, the other is Speed vs Time. Check Y Axis for clarification.

Method: Data is acquired with a Dragy, a 10Hz GPS device. A full 1/8 mile must be completed without stopping since "custom runs" (i.e. 5-20mph) are not sharable for whatever reason. Share the 1/8 mile run containing the run to yourself, which comes in a .json file. Use https://dragy-decryptor.d3vl.com/ to convert that run to a .csv file, then you can extract the time vs speed data. The 1/8 mile run doesn't need to be a full throttle run for the whole stretch, I just did rolling starts off idle, went to top speed, and lifted, coasting out the 1/8.

I'd love to see some data from some GoPeds with big power.

Hey guys. So my GoPed sport had an issue yesterday where it wouldn’t start.

When pull-starting it would sputter on for a sec before dying and when trying to roll start it there was no resistance from the spindle on the tire.

It would just roll like a normal scooter.

Rear tire would drag when I was walking next to it like there was still resistance though.

Any tips?

Started out with a OG red sport 20+ years ago. Loved it and caught the bug. Acquired some bigfoots and some more sports years later and had a blast restoring, fixing, riding them. Unfortunately I just don't have much time any more to give them the time they deserve. Hate to see them just sit. Keeping a couple but looking to let some of them go.

Hey guys! I just got this GoPed sport on a whim so I could have something to ride locally. Also wanted to learn mechanical stuff on something small so I don’t have to tear apart more of my vette to learn.

I want to add a clutch to my scooter so it can idle while stopped but am unsure how to tell what kind I need and where I should order it from. Any advice would be appreciated!

Bought the new sikk zinc plated frame and a g290rc+ada racing deck, what else should I get? Not sure what’s good quality and good for frequent use as I am new to gopeds, any help is appreciated😁

I have a mosquito dx24, and can’t find any piston rings for it. My friend tried 23cc rings and they’re were too large. I’m not sure how measure the cylinder bore, and I can’t find any replacements online. Any help or information is a big help.
