A couple of us God Tear fans were talking about how cool a Star Wars version of the game would be so we decided to start ourselves. We already extracted the raw data and are working through which champions and followers best map to which Star Wars characters. We let Claude (opus 4.8) take a pass at it, but weren't too excited about the outcome. So we decided to put it out the community and see where it goes.

Feel free to use the clean character card data as well, it was pulled from the free print and play pdf's and double checked for accuracy.

Our idea from here would be to create a custom card template in Figma then take the remapped json and build a custom Figma plugin to generate all the cards. Here's my first take at something.

This could grow into a repo for any re-skinning of the game the community comes up with.

Hi, I am not able to find Godtear figures for purchase on the Stormforged Games website. Only the free PDFs for the champion cards. Does this mean that soon the figures would be out of production?

Is there any sort of fan-driven balancing pass? Some of the later heroes like Fenra are so much more potent than others, that it seems like they could use some adjustment. Given SFG's lukewarm support for the game, it would be nice to see some attention given towards leveling out the viability of extreme at either end of the power spectrum.

Does anyone have any house rules they play with currently?

Recently stumbled across this game and have picked up a keen interest, researching warbands and game mechanics

When I expressed my interest to a friend they warned me against getting into it as it’s essentially “the game that killed SFG” and was told they’ve since ruined it

No hate to my friend, she’s great, but is there any stock in this? She plays miniature games like they’re going out of fashion so I trust her words completely

Hello Godtear Reddit. If you want to play Godtear online, here's a great entry point. We use Tabletop Simulator, have 65 min a side chess clocks, the tournament is unranked, and the format is a new, interesting "pick your poison" style.
