Can a Goblin expert give me an opinion on my Krenko, Mob Boss deck?

I'm not very good at building decks but I enjoy it. I tried putting together this [[Krenko, Mob Boss]] list. Any suggestions on what to add or what to remove? Thanks

Goblin players arise I need your help!

So I was lucky enough to get a goblin storm precon and as a first time goblin player after playing with it a couple of times I felt it needed something more for me to fully enjoy playing goblins.

I decided to build a deck around Grub, storied matriarch

Now I find myself 15 cards over the limit and really trying to figure out what the underperforming cards are and need some goblin wisdom

This is the deck

Please help me cut the looks cool but actually sucks cards

Cutting the final 8 cards for my "Wizard of Barge" Krenko deck!

Hi everyone!

I was lucky enough to snag the Wizard of Barge "Goblin Storm" secret lair. I’ve been a huge fan of his artwork since the early days, so I really wanted to build something around these cards.

Initially, I looked into building Zada, Hedron Grinder, but I found it a bit too "all-or-nothing" and linear (turn 4 win or bust). Instead, I’ve decided to go with Krenko, Mob Boss. The goal is to keep as many Wizard of Barge cards/artworks in the deck as possible while making it functional and fun.

The Problem:

I’m currently sitting at 108 cards and I’m struggling to make the final cuts.

Decklist link:https://archidekt.com/decks/23001087/krenko

(I've tried to sort the deck into categories to make it easier to read!)

My concerns:

  1. Too many creatures? I have 35 right now. I know Goblins need a critical mass, but I’m not sure which ones are underperforming.

  2. Card Draw: I feel like I might be a bit short on ways to refill my hand once I've dumped my Goblins on the board.

  3. The "Wizard of Barge" Constraint: I want to keep the flavor, but I need the deck to actually work!

I need to cut 8 cards. Which ones would you take out? Also, if you have any "secret tech" or general tips for a Krenko pilot, I’m all ears!

Thanks in advance for the help! 🤘🔥

Looking for good references on tuning up Goblinstorm

Hey! Reaching out to see if people have good resources of content creators giving advice on how to tune up the new Goblinstorm deck?

Most of the places I've seen so far have almost entirely focused on cards to add, but failed to mention what should be removed to slot those in.

I've made some minor tweaks on my own so far and have gone 2-0 with the deck (one game with an amazing combination of Zada, Goblin Bombardment, and Goblin Negotiation letting me do 100+ damage to the table out of nowhere).

Thanks for the help!

I drafted a goblin deck!

I drafted a Goblin Deck in the 12 set rotisserie draft format and could use some help narrowing down the 23 cards to go in the deck. I was googling goblins when doing this and came across this sub and thought might be a great place to get some advice.

I'm looking for help with super obvious cuts/keeps or even just a full decklist, if y'all want to make it, I wouldn't mind telling my friends Reddit made the deck.

This is what I drafted:

https://moxfield.com/decks/gNr-4U0O9U-Y7H-l5-XBlA

it's 8 players, best 2 of 3. I'm going up against a 5 color vivid deck, mono black deck, white/blue control, white weenie, boros midrange, an infect deck, a white weenie deck, and a green/blue ramp deck. Not sure if I should go all out-aggro or go more survivable style.

Using this site/format:

Spellslinger Gobos

Hiya all, I've been building goblin decks for commander for a while now. It's of course my favorite tribal. I'm running into a problem with the Blue/Red spell Slinger goblins.

I cannot for the life of me come up with a decent synergy involving Mizzix Izmagnus that could be good in bracket 3/4.

I want to cast spells like Krenko's command to make tokens (unfortunately there's only 15 cards that do so at a mild rate) and draw cards regularly. All the reduction from Mizzix allows me to just throw out spell after spell for a basic strategy and overwhelm my opponents in numbers.

I've thought about support cards to make smaller groups of goblins bigger, even if temporary.

I know there are other ways to play Mizzix and win with less effort. But I'm trying to make this work as a unique theme that's not stereotypical of this commander or tribal in general.

I've seen what you guys post here and I've gotten a lot of good ideas from them. I'm not that good at blue and if there's a mechanic or strat that would ramp this up and be aggressive, I would be grateful.

Goblin tribal EDH advice

Help an Auntie commander out!

This is an attempt to reconstruct Blight Curse [[Auntie Ool, Cursewretch]] as a Goblin tribal EDH. There are a couple constraints that might make it tricky.

  • No other creature types besides Goblin
  • No overlap with previous Goblin decks of my stall
  • Local meta seems to be mostly high end Bracket 3

Exceptions can be made. I've already come to terms with [[Grim Poppet]] and possibly also [[Oft-Nabbed Goat]] remaining on the list.

The most obvious additions that came to mind – namely [[Grumgully, the Generous]] and [[Murderous Redcap]] – have already been placed in the pool for the primary win condition. Other than that the list of considerations is rather thin. This means that I am probably looking for synergies beyond the obvious counters on creatures that might be hard to identify. One that I'm quite confident will slot right in is [[Akki Ember-Keeper]].

Deck: Auntie's Persistent Blight

The current sideboard consists of cards removed from the precon and considerations are listed below. It should preferably not overlap in cards for either of my Lorwyn or Shadowmoor deck versions for auntie Wort.

For flavour reasons only, Boggarts are slightly preferred over non Lorwyn goblin kind, and also artwork by Wayne Reynolds.

Help me find the non trivial synergies!

Help Me Draw in Mono-Red

My Krenko, Mob Boss commander deck always gets stuck with no cards in hand and barely enough mana to cast a card a turn cycle by turn 5. Does anyone have a generally good draw package in mono-red they could suggest? Impulse, Loot, Rummage, doesnt matter, I need more acceleration and Im stumped

Here is my attempt at an upgraded Auntie Ool Commander Precon, now with more goblins.

I wanted to create a Goblin Deck that wasn't Krenko, Kreat, or Grenzo. The new Precon gave me a fun new mechanic to try and build around. I included the Redcap combo to close out games, and removed a lot of the high mana cards to get explosive turns on 4-5.
