I'm suffering. I waited a few days too long to start medicine (today). Even going somewhere, walking is bothering, then I also have to watch all day my toddler which is fine overall, but sometimes I just want to all day lay in bed and eat snacks, whilst reading smut and watching some series 🥲

My dinner for a really bad day, Leaving home, my car was hit just after leaving the repair shop. It made me late for work and caused problems with my supervisor. When I left, it was raining. I'm at home, soaking wet, sitting on my couch about to cry, eating cheese, cookies, and sausage.

Chicken patties, trisquits (spelling?) and jalepano artichoke dip.

3 cold boiled eggs, topped with cream cheese, pepper and home made picked red onions.

Crispy Coke Zero.

Delicious.

For the low vision girlies: Two Pyrex bowls side by side on a wooden coffee table. Left Pyrex is slightly larger, and is filled with leftover pastaroni, a few cuts of aged cheddar cheese, and a tin of mackerel fillets with salt and pepper. Right bowl is slightly smaller, and is filled with pickled beets.

as many of us here i don’t like cooking for one but i lost a lot of weight for mixed reasons, any ideas for a somewhat picky eater to keep consistent weight when they’re alone?

I think it's decently healthy because it's protein + veg + carbs (I love carbs) food groups in one meal

And add some gravy for extra tasty

Back to work post hysterectomy and medical leave. It still sucks so no change there.

Edit: it seems like there may be a common misconception that she gave me the tray with the food on it - I was given the trays, I used them to make a snack plate, I’m a super big fan of the fact that I can compartmentalize stuff in a way I can’t on a circle plate 🤓

Just found this sub and wanted to share my highlight of all girl dinners. Best served in bed with netflix.

Three carrots - two huge, one skinny - unpeeled, with a ramekin of mayonnaise

First day of period,fighted with everyone ,cried the whole day and now eating some leftover risotto from last night ✨

I’m barely home these days so cooking and most grocery shopping makes no sense as I would end up with a lot of spoiled food, so this dinner is rygeost (smoked lowfat soft cheese) tomatoes, two kinds of pickled cucumber, pickled peppers and some balsamic vinegar pickled baby onions

Chips, capers, onions, olives, olive oil, sun-dried tomatoes, hot chili-oil, pickled mushrooms, and cheese.

+ light soda.

I see nothing wrong with this. 10/10 girl dinner.

Half a badly toasted sandwich, berries, pepperoni, veggie sticks & hummus. And pickles. Pickles are very important. I like to graze while I work.
