Hi! I never thought I'd be back again but here I am. So in my last post here, my accounts came back and for weeks I've been trying my best to post less haha. So yesterday, I got the "Confirm your identity" again in my buy and sell account and can't chat people unless I confirm it. WE ALL KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS. I was legitimately concerned for my main account despite separating them since I have 2 phones. I was left with no choice but to confirm it since it won't go anywhere until I do it lol.
I entered my ID again and no facial verifications, just kept loading and voila! The "Confirm your identity" that was blocking me to send messages got removed and I can chat people again.
I guess that proved my theory to separate accounts since meta thinks having more account thinks you are some danger to the community (which frankly I kinda understand? I think you're supposedly only allowed to have 1 account).
That's it nothing much to it, just thought adding some information would help people. Best of luck to all of our acounts hahaa.

Really need to reach to a customer service helpdesk, my fb account got disabled due to account integrity, Idek what that is I have been using fb for 10 years mostly messaging my friends. When I tried to login into my account it said disabled for good and no way to contact any help. Can someone point me to any chat or email contact so I can reach Meta?

Is there anyway to reinastate or recover my account from this false accusations especially being severe, i also chatted them via meta verified but this is the recent email they gave me
Are they lying that they said it was human and system even if i got disabled immediately after i pressed the appeal (3-4 minutes)

Okay, so a few weeks ago I logged into my Facebook on a laptop I never used before. What followed was me excellently waking up to this beautiful thing that has haunted the last few hours of research that has led to NOTHING! So what happened is when I came upon this page, I thought, "Okay, I will go on my computer," so then I went to my computer and the same issue, went to the Chromebook and same issue. I checked my email and nothing in relation to this issue that was meaningful. I am absolutely annoyed because the "I was hacked" button (which isn't even true) leads to the same page. From my research, there is no support email for Facebook (How does a multi-billion dollar company not have one yet my tiny business does?), I honestly just want to get in, but maybe I need to let it rest for a day or two. Literally my only contact for much of my family is through Facebook. My assumption is that there was some sort of lockdown that forgot every "trusted" device.

Hello, I'm currently trying to get my Facebook and Instagram accounts back from being permanently disabled May 15th. I got an online lawyer to write a letter June 4th. they got a response around June 15th, saying they will look into it, but can't promise anything. What triggered all of this is someone tryin to hack into the account and it seem to just go down hill from there. I haven't violated any community standards or posted anything crazy. My Instagram was shut down by default because I logged into it with my Facebook instead of having them separate. I feel like I'm in limbo. Do i start over or do I wait. Is it possible to disconnect at least my Instagram to my Facebook so I can at least have my Instagram while they work out my Facebook? Has anyone done that? I had an old Instagram account that I got verified so I could speak with someone form META. They said that was the reason my account was disabled...but that they couldn't get past a technical wall aka AI to open it back out and then they just sent me the same links that don't work and disappeared from the chat and NOW I've been unable to get back onto the chat to speak to someone. it's like I'm blocked or something. I have contacts that I need, business videos, family contacts etc that I can't even link up with. It's really a sucky situation to be in, but if I can at least get back into my instagram, I'd be happy with that outcome...at least for now.

Has anyone recovered a permanently disabled Instagram/Facebook account after almost a year?
My Instagram account was disabled by Meta about a year ago for an alleged Community Guidelines violation. I received the usual email saying my account was disabled, submitted an appeal, but it was rejected and the account became permanently disabled. My Facebook account was also disabled because it was linked to Instagram.
I tried recovery at the time but nothing worked, and the accounts completely disappeared (no profile, username, or normal login access).
Recently, almost one year later, I randomly received a Meta security email with a verification code for the account. I did not request it. It made me wonder if the account still exists in Meta’s system or if there is any chance of recovery.
Has anyone had a similar situation where an account was permanently disabled and later recovered after months?

So my Facebook Page of 124k followers got suspended on May 5th randomly due to "fraud scam deceptive practices"...
I don't even know what I did because I've gotten no violations and no account restrictions.
All my content is cross-posted from my main Instagram page with no issues.
What's crazy is I didn't even have an appeal button.
It's not banned because I can still access it but it's unpublished and cannot send dm or post anything.
I contacted Meta Pro Support real agent even called me and told me they have escalated a ticket to an internal team.
It's been over 2 months since and every 2-3 days I ask him what's the update, and he just says still in review.
The most logical next step is to send a Demand Letter and if they don't reply, possibly go through Small Claims court as I live in Canada.
But before I do that, does anyone have similar experience that they would like to share?
Or if you are a Meta employee reading this, please just explain wtf is going on or DM me to discuss this.

Hi everyone.
I'm writing this because I'm honestly exhausted and I want to know if anyone has gone through the same situation.
A few weeks ago, my Facebook account was suddenly disabled for allegedly violating Meta's policies related to child sexual exploitation. I have never posted, shared, searched for, or interacted with that kind of content.
I immediately submitted an appeal, but it was rejected very quickly without any detailed explanation or evidence of what I supposedly did. Shortly afterward, my Instagram account was also disabled because it was linked to my Facebook account.
What makes this even more frustrating is that I lost years of personal photos, conversations, memories, and access to services connected to my Meta account.
While trying to find a solution, I discovered that I'm far from being the only one. I've found many recent reviews on Google Play, YouTube videos, Reddit posts, and news articles where people describe almost the exact same situation: being accused of the same violation, having their appeals rejected automatically, and permanently losing their accounts.
I'm not asking for special treatment. I just want a fair human review. If I really violated a policy, I would like Meta to show me what happened. But receiving such a serious accusation without any explanation is devastating.
Has anyone here managed to recover their account after a similar case?
If you experienced the same thing, I'd really appreciate hearing your story.
Thank you for reading.

I've been stuck with this issue for days and I'm running out of ideas.
I can log into my Instagram account without any problems through a web browser (Chrome, Edge, etc.), but the official Instagram app always says "Incorrect password", even though I'm 100% sure the password is correct.
What's even stranger is that logging in with Facebook on the app also fails. It briefly loads, then just sends me back to the login screen.
Here's everything I've already tried:
- Reinstalling Instagram
- Clearing app cache and data
- Using Instagram Lite
- Switching between Wi-Fi and mobile data
- Disabling Private DNS
- Logging in with Facebook
The weirdest part:
✅ My account works in any browser.
❌ The Instagram app won't let me log in.
❌ Instagram Lite doesn't work either.
❌ Even other Instagram accounts can't log into the app on this phone.
✅ The same account can be used on other devices.
This makes me think the issue is device-related, not account-related.
One thing that might be relevant: I recently had another Instagram account that was permanently disabled. I've seen people mention that Meta may sometimes flag or "blacklist" a device after certain enforcement actions, but I don't know if that's actually true or just speculation.
Has anyone experienced something similar? Were you able to fix it, or did it eventually resolve on its own?
I'd really appreciate any advice. Thanks!

So a few months ago, my second account was suspended for some stupid reason, and my main account was suspended as well - Facebook obviously associated the connection, shared device, etc. After a while, I managed to recover my main account. I sent a selfie video (don't worry). Today I noticed that my second account looked safe, so I logged in - it's no longer suspended, but I made a mistake because my main account was suspended again... But my second account doesn't have any instructions to follow. I deleted that unfortunate second account. Now, my main account, in addition to the selfie video, also requests a phone number and photo ID.
My question is - has anyone had a similar experience and been successful? Maybe I can just wait it out again and the problem will go away on its own? Maybe I could contact some AI chat or hotline who could help? I've seen solutions like this.
Anticipating your comments - I hate Facebook, and if I didn't need it, I wouldn't try it. I need it to contact family and employees, to read local groups, and I have archives of deceased family members there, so save your time and your silly comments, I don't need them.

Like the title says, my account was disabled without warning. I had no bans, no restrictions, no nothing. Out of the blue, they just decided to disable it. Of course I appealed, got nothing. I've got Meta Verified on my Instagram account, and still cannot chat or email or anything. Everything just gives me an error message whether I'm on my phone or my laptop.
What can I do? I was just in the hospital ffs, not having that account has screwed me financially as well as the loss of 20 years worth of photos and memories.
Edit for typos.

I've been dealing with this selfie verification issue for over a month. I tried contacting Meta, and one representative told me it would resolve itself if I stopped trying for a week and then tried again — that didn't work. Later, I contacted another support channel and was told I had broken one of their guidelines, though they wouldn't specify which one. They said my profile restriction might be permanent, or possibly temporary.
After more than a month, I finally found a solution — purely by luck. The issue I was facing: I couldn't interact with any group posts. I couldn't post in groups, react to or comment on group posts, or join any groups. Everything else on my account worked fine.
Here are the steps I followed to fix it:
Updated my profile picture.
Turned off Professional Mode on my profile.
Locked my profile.
Went to Accounts Center and updated my verification selfie (if you already have one) or created one (if you don't). I made sure to wear the same clothing and be in a similar setting for consistency.
After giving it some time — about 5–6 minutes — I checked whether I'd still be prompted for selfie verification when reacting to or commenting on a group post. It just started working again, seemingly out of nowhere.
That's how I resolved this issue after more than a month of trying. I wanted to share this here in case anyone else is facing the same problem. This worked for me — try it and see if it works for you too.

Before a mod bans me again for positing because I can’t be bothered typing it all out / I was binned on Facebook and Instagram may 14th. Sent a demand letter through a lawyer (I’m in New Zealand) and this was the outcome. Can’t do f all else so. Just a heads up. They have to reply and it can be one or the other. Good or bad news

I just created a new account since my previous account got disabled now when I created after few hours my account was disabled again 😭 I'm tired creating one but I need to create one since I still have contacts there that I need to accomplish since I have my business there. Is there a way to fix it where meta won't disabled you're account?

can i still recover my insta atleast?
context: prior to this my account was suspended for a whole month because i did not pass their verification test or smthng. the suspension was just recently lifted when not even a day i got the same verification test(i can’t message, react or save anything on mess because i had to go trough the verification first) i had once again tried the test and failed but this time it did not suspend me but diasbled my fb and insta(they’re linked) the verification test was for me to verify my identity because i did not follow community guidline, despite me not being an active poser. after the first suspension i looked thoroughly for the warning they sent me regarding my posts(?) and found nothing from what they sent me, i even looked up online how to fix these but still found nothing.
sorry if not very understandable english is not my first language and i’m very frustrated

For context, this started a few months ago. Both Facebook and Instagram suspended my accounts out of nowhere, and on top of that, they accuse me of sexualization of children?
I tried to appeal and request a review, but that didn't help at all, only 10 minutes after requesting a review, and my accounts were now permanently disabled.
I decided to just make a new Facebook and Instagram account, which seemed to work for about a month, but then I was suspended in the exact same way.
So... Is there anything I can do to stop this? Or am I simply doomed and should quit these platforms?

I think I figured out why my appeal was stuck for so long. My iPhone automatically was taking photos is HEIF format, which is what I originally uploaded for the ID photo. Didn’t get an error message or anything, just said to wait until they review it. I listened to all the advice not to try to sign in, etc.
After 5 days, I tried to sign in again and it allowed me to upload ID again. This time I read the requirements link you need to click and noticed it said photo has to be jpeg format. So I changed my phones settings to JPEG and tried to upload again. Immediately got my accounts back.
Just sharing since I didn’t see this mentioned anywhere as a possible reason an appeal might be stuck.

So I have two Facebook pages. One is working fine and linked to it's Instagram counterpart. I created another page months after this, for a different niche. And I posted one text based post on the new one, but when I went to post a reel content, it flagged me for suspicious activity and asking me to verify using my phone number.
I was a little sceptical to use my phone number because I never had to plus I am hearing that the moment you try to upload or work on the issue, Meta bans your account. So I waited it out and tried a few days after. Same problem.
A week after same prompt, same problem. Then I went to meta AI asking what my account is violating, it says Community Guidelines something to do with investments and fraud - it was like a motivational quotes kind of reel where I'm writing cut your expenses save your money for better kind of life thing. So maybe this triggered it? Although I read the guidelines, it was more about fraud investment advice kinda thing which didn't seem relatable to my content.
Anyway, now I was like forget this page. I'll work on it someday or not. But then I created another page, which I have on Instagram also, and it's different niche and I wanted to post on Facebook also. Again, doesn't let me create Page prompts - we noticed suspicious activity. Please complete sms verification.
My question now is - should I do sms verification, or will it just gonna make them ban my account?
Also, my first page, which is working fine(no suspicious activity or any restriction), should I disconnect it from my Instagram page? Anyone going through same thing?

My lawyer sent the demand letter 7/1 and Meta sent a response on 7/10 confirming they received the letter and forwarded it. “I am in receipt of your July 1, 2026, letter to Meta Platforms, Inc. regarding
Facebook account. My firm represents Meta Platforms, Inc. in this matter. I understand from your letter that [I] believes his account was disabled in error. I have forwarded the information in your letter on to my client and will follow up with you when I have an update or further information request. Please note that Meta makes no guarantees regarding the provision or outcome of any review.” Has anyone that gotten their account back know how long this part of the process usually takes?

Unfortunately this also disabled my meta account I need for my quest. So all of my games will also be deleted. I'm not sure what to do now. I've tried using verified chat through Instagram and he couldn't help.
I've tried to appeal the normal way and and instantly got
