Not the newest crf but with the full Akra she sounds insane

For those of you who ride primarily single track what does good suspension feel like to you? I just bought a new bike and realized after riding my whole life idk what good is supposed to feel like. I’ve ridden stuff that felt too soft/firm in the front but couldn’t ever really feel anything in the rebound side of it. I know I need to set my sag first but once I get that set what should I be looking for?

I primarily ride sandy soils with generously sized whoops with the occasional super tight trees.

Im 34. I dirt biked from age 7-18. Had a few 250 2 strokes at the end. Then a 12+ year gap.

I now live in N. Idaho. And we have 1000s of miles of trails.

I got a KLX300 dual sport.

As I put a few thousand miles on, I realized enduro is really big here. Seems half of YouTube enduro videos are filmed near by or somewherein the PNW. All the dealers sell KTMs, betas, ect and all gravitate towards enduro...

While I love adventure riding as I call it. Load up my gear, and lunch, go do a 100 mile loop, I cant help but feel like im missing out as I pass all these tough single tracks. But my 300lb bike and 5'5" shortness does not mix well on any N Idaho single track.

I am a very confident rider nonetheless, but i don't know if i should be seeking a 2nd bike for those types rides - thats if enduro is even my thing...

New to bikes and got this 2 months ago. Have put 1500 miles on road and trails. Don’t sleep on the Amazon bikes for $2k this mf rips

I dropped my bike while unloading it from the trailer and bent the radiator. Is this fixable? Runnable? Or do I need a new radiator?

What you guys think about the van I hawk the crf with ?( I spend more in diesel getting to the track than track fees itself)

So i bought this crf250r in may, ran decently well, the guy said it sat for a while so i figured it just needed to be ridden, and after a while of riding it it was completely fine, after a bit started not wanting to start when hot, and then after a while when i rid it it was kind of wierd, i dont really know how to explain it and when i was on flat road at speed it just lost power for a split second then was fine again, it also leaks fluid when it sits still while on, i think its coolant but im not sure. any advice is greatly apprechiated.

Can it be caused by kickstand rubber hook not being on? Chain tension is in spec, it is a 2019 freeride

I’ve wanted a bike since the first time I watched terminator 2 when was 7 years old haha.

I got tired of looking for the right deal on Facebook market place I bit the bullet and started calling dealerships. I was originally looking for a 250X but I couldn’t find one after calling close to 10 dealerships. Then a salesman “suckered me” into this girl (he sent me some pics on the show room floor and I had to fucking have it)

It is a 2026 YZ250. It had 2 engine hours on it. Jam packed with upgrades. I paid $9300 out the door which seemed like a good deal (let me know if I got fleeced)

This thing is a fucking monster it’s so much fun.

Riding in general is OUT OF THIS WORLD!! Genuinely didn’t just live up to my wildest expectations it fucking obliterated them

I am actually so mad that I didn’t commit till I was 25 years old so many good riding years wasted!

The thing is wicked scary. I always knew this took skill but my god I had no idea how hard it is to ride. I just scroll social media now and I’m blown away at how good some people are.

Owned this little monster for about 6 months now and I’m looking for some build inspiration, plenty of kx65s online but the yellow ones aren’t as easy to come by, any fellow owners I would love to see some pictures!

I go riding about once a month. I come home and hose the bikes down and lightly clean them. I have 2 25ish year old trail bikes, nothing crazy. I was wondering if it’s a better practice to lube the chains right after cleaning, or right before I go for a ride since there is such a large time gap between the two events? Or does it even matter on these bikes?

I recently picked up a 2006 450r and the clutch goes all the way in even on the lever on the motor, i think i need to get new clutch kit and im looking at these caltric clutch plates and they are suspisously cheep, is it that much worse then the same tusk kit?

aside from the physical benefits of riding bikes do you think it changes you mentally / psychologically / cognitively?

I bought a klx 300r as my first bike and am now looking for something faster. How much faster is a 250, would it be too much for me to handle if I’m only ever used to a klx 300 trail bike
