This is my second post here since starting my rewatch, and I'm curious to see if there's an explanation I've missed because so far the sequence of events makes no sense to me. I don't want to sound pretentious, but please read the whole post before commenting, as this led to some confusion in my last post.

In Season 4, Episode 1, Water War, the Quarren and the Mon Calamari are at odds and are on the verge of civil war because the Quarren do not recognise the Prince as the rightful heir to the throne (not sure how exactly succession happens in this society, but whatever). The Mon Calamari request representatives of the Republic to help mediate (Anakin and Padme), and the Quarren senator responds to this by requesting a CIS Representative (Tamson).

Tamson's agitation seems to be the main reason why the Quarren fight the Mon Calamari at all, so I'm confused why he was even allowed to come. Both the Quarren and the Mon Calamari are members of the Republic at the start of this arc, as we're told in this episode, and in the Heroes on Both Sides episode we're told that meeting with the Separatists is illegal for Republic politicians. Considering the whole war is predicated on the fact that the Republic does not recognise the Separatists as legitimate, I can't imagine why they wouldn't sanction the Quarren Senator for arranging this or just stop Tampson from coming to Mon Cala in the first place.

If that happened, this whole civil war could have been avoided, or the writers could have just made it so that the Quarren met with the CIS in secret and skipped that whole scene in the beginning where Tamson is in the government meeting and influencing the Quarren.

Is this a mistake on the writers' part that we just have to make a lot of inferences to make sense of, or is there a reasonable explanation I'm just not thinking of?

Clone paratroopers, we first see some at the Battle of Utapau in ROTS. I can't really find any media explaining exactly what they do and how they work (other than that they specialize in aerial deployments, hence their name). Every time we do actually see them, they're fighting on the ground like regular troopers

Legends at least says they use jetpacks but not much besides that; what do they do that sending in a squad of jet troopers can't do, or even just giving some regular troopers some jetpacks which we also see a few times in TCW?

Note: I'm not hating on them at all, I think their design is sick, I'm just confused as to why the GAR would fund an entire specialization for tasks that could be carried out by other tried-and-true clone trooper variants. I also know Star Wars has a habit of creating multiple variants that overlap with most other variants for certain purposes and this could easily be just another case of that lol

So we see Ahsoka wield three lightsaber colors. Green/yellow green, blue, and white.

The green one and the yellow green shato were her original ones, the white ones were bled crystals purified, but were her blue lightsabers ever explained later or in the Clone Wars?

I am aware the Ahsoka model is from the mid-season of the Clone Wars, this is more a limitation of models at SFMs disposal, so I had to take some creative liberties here.
