Love for you Episode 11

Why is there a cut for “love for you” episode 11? When miao jing checking her scores to the fire scene to the breaking up scene?

I have checked multiple websites and they are the same. Is this normal?

Review Quick thoughts on Yu Lin Ling (雨霖铃)

I’m a few episodes in and honestly, it’s better than I expected.
First of all, Yang Yang is just effortlessly sexy in that Zhan Zhao outfit🫠. Beyond the visuals, he clearly put in the work for the sword fighting. It’s so refreshing to see a wuxia that doesn't rely entirely on lazy CGI and slow-mo. The pacing is pretty fast since it’s a detective story, which keeps it interesting.
My only critique is that the first episode felt a bit chaotic, and Zhang Yaonan’s tone feels a little too modern for a traditional wuxia.
But overall, it’s a really solid watch. What do you guys think of it so far?

Recommendations I want to watch C-Dramas, but this one trope keeps making me drop them...

I'm trying to get into C-dramas because I keep seeing clips on Tktk. I have to admit, the MLs and FLs are fine as hell. 😭

The problem is, every time I finally decide to watch one, there's some "we're cousins but not blood-related" or "we grew up as siblings but aren't actually related" trope. I forgot the title of the first one because I dropped it immediately after the aunt told the FL that the ML was her cousin (not blood-related, though). The only thing I remember is the ML had a group of friends with different hair colors, they rode scooters in the firs ep while chasing someone, and I think it came out this year.

Now I'm watching Love For You because I liked the clips of the ML and FL and got curious, but then it turns out they're half siblings... not blood-related, but still. 😭

Are there any C-dramas without this kind of trope? Like, where the leads are just two completely unrelated people who meet naturally? I really want to get into C-dramas, but I just can't get past this setup.

Maybe I'm being dramatic since I'm new to C-dramas, but I'd really appreciate some recommendations! THANKS!

Recommendations Xianxia Romance

Im in my xianxia phase lol. I love dramas with Romance as the main plot, beautiful yearningggg love and soulful osts.

Plus point if the ML is strong and stoic and is like a touch me and I'll kill you, but becomes a softie for the FL

Also i would prefer a relatively newer drama, maybe after 2022

MUST HAVE AN HAPPY ENDING WITH THE LEADS ENDING UP TOGETHER IN THE END

Ive seen many, some I've loved, some dropped

If there is something I shoukd try again lemme know

Love between the fairy and devil ( dont understand the hype tbh)

Back from the brink - dropped, idk the leads didnt seem interesting

Moonlight mystique- its honestly soo beautiful, the osts just elevated it. Beautiful love of them ready to die for each other. A love spanning lives

Love you seven times - underrated masterpiece, love the trope of falling in love with you in every life, sacrifice and die for you, but still happy ending lol

The Blossoming love- LOVED IT, THE CHARACTERS HAD SO MUCH DEPTH, omgg soo good. The chemistry was top tier, i love the bad vs good trope too, love love love

Love in the clouds- A BEAUTIFUL MASTERPIECE WITH AMAZING CHEMISTRY

The legend of shen Li - dropped after a few eps, idk why the ML didnt seem my type

Love of the divine tree- LOVED IT

When destiny brings the demon - liked it a lot

Love game in eastern fantasy- the love didnt seem that deep, but still good

Ummmm… guys. What the actual heck?
Since when do 40 episode CDramas end on such a big cliffhanger?! WHAT?!
I don’t even know how to feel right now. Typically I do a K or C Drama because I know it’s limited series and there won’t (rarely) be a second season. But the nuggets they dropped in the final 10 minutes?! ARE YOU KIDDING?! 😩😩😩

Discussion Never Ending Summer - Stop at Episode 17?

I love this drama. I binged it all the way to episode 17. No spoilers but the main couple is in a good place, as evident of the happy montages of their lives together. But there are 12 episodes to go....that usually means angst and heartbreak, with a time skip, and reconciliation. I'm a little tempted to just stop here and pretend this is the happy ending. Without spoiling anything, should I keep watching? I don't like unnecessary conflict, misunderstandings, or lack of communication.

Question/Help Should I watch blossoms in adversity or my journey to you?

I've become a fan of lu yu xiao and watched mostly all where she was main except serendipity because I heard it was bad and time and him are just right because I am tired of high school dramas

Now I want to get into her support roles, actually I like Esther yu in lgief but she is a little annoying, zhang ling he was good in the best thing, and the princess royal I have watched but didn't really like him in that and thought that zhao jinmai carried the show same with pursuit of jade he was only serving looks otherwise fl carried, I am also feeling hesitant to watch his dramas because of controversies surrounding him but everybody loves lyx and chang lei in mjty

In blossom in adversity I heard the ML is really bad at acting and I haven't watched any drama of zhang jing yi yet

Also story wise I have no idea

Which one should I watch?

Discussion Great shows you shouldn't watch back to back?

What are two cdramas that are absolutely amazing on their own but shouldn’t be watched back to back? Shows that share similar themes, vibes, and maybe even actors. Ones if you binge, they will start to blur together.

What two shows do you recommend but they need a palette cleanser show in between?

Recommendations I am looking for costume fantasy dramas with happy ending...

I have already watched: ancient love poetry(10/10), the blue whisper(10/10), the blossoming love(10/10), love and destiny (10/10), sword and fairy 6 (10/10), the longest promise, immortal samsara, miss the dragon, the last immortal, the journey of Chong Zi, love between fairy and devil (10/10), love you seven times, moonlight mystique, eternal love of dream, love never fails, the starry love, sword and beloved, love's rebellion, the legend of Shen Li, beauty of resilience

The ones I rated 10/10 l loved them, the rest of the dramas I didn't love them but I liked and enjoyed them.

I want to watch costume fantasy dramas with happy ending, even a 5 minutes happy ending is still a happy ending for me. I don't want to watch open ending dramas like The longest promise.

Dramas that I dropped are Love and redemption and Love of the divine tree. Main reason for this is that they have characters wearing scary masks or characters that instead of seeing their face, we see black screen.

I dropped also Back from the brink (didn't like the cgi), Ashes of love (I found the FL too naive for my liking) and Eternal love Ten miles of peach blossoms (I found the secondary couple, Dong Hua and Feng Jiu more interesting than the main couple. You can still recommend these three dramas but give me reasons to pick them up again.

I am currently watching When destiny brings the demon and Moonlit reunion, so don't recommend these dramas.

Thank you in advance!!

Discussion Love Dylan Wang in Love Between Fairy and Devil, but his real voice and singing... am I the only one?

Post image
109 Upvotes

I recently finished Love Between Fairy and Devil and really liked Dylan Wang in it. He was great as Dongfang Qingcang.

But then I looked up some of his real-life interviews and videos of him singing, and it kind of broke the spell for me. Don't get me wrong, he seems like a really nice and fun guy, but his actual voice and singing are just so different from his character.
Is it just me?
