I have an upcoming flight from Belgrade BEG to Germany departing at approx 6:00 AM

Since it's an international flight, I would need to arrive around 3:00 AM, which would mean taking an expensive taxi to the airport in the middle of the night and getting up around 2:00 AM.

Instead, I was thinking about taking the last public transport to the airport the previous evening (around 11 PM–12 AM) and spending the rest of the night at the airport.

I have a few questions:

• Am I allowed to stay overnight at the airport?
• I only have carry-on luggage. Would I be able to go through security and into the departure area around midnight, or does security only open a few hours before departure? I believe it would be better to sit/lay down airside than in the public area. • This will be my first time re-entering the Schengen Area since the Entry/Exit System (EES) was introduced. Does this change the situation in any way? Should I expect longer processing times or anything different?

Since moving to Belgrade, I've spent a lot of time walking around the city and photographing its architecture.

Over time this grew into a personal project about 20 buildings and complexes across Belgrade and New Belgrade. I collected the photographs, architects, dates, addressse and a bit of background about each place, and built an English-language website around it:

This isn't meant to be a definitive list or a ranking, just a selection of places I found interesting.

I'd genuinely appreciate any corrections, additional stories or details from people who know these buildings better. I'm also considering making a small printed verrsion later, so it would be useful to know which parts feel most interesting to locals (and where to print it haha).

I am a big fan of Rick Owens clothing and that is my style, should I be concerned to wear skirts and long t-shirts in Belgrade? To be honest I have never had any problems anywhere in the world and I am used to the occasional stare of people which I don't give a fu** about. Someone told me I should pay attention to travel to Serbia dressed "like that", I don't understand why. I know it is a conservative country but do I really have to change the way I look???? Is Serbia such a strict country???

Hello! I’m visiting Belgrade for the first time, and so far I’ve mostly been able to get around with a credit card, except for some museums. I’m going to the Moby concert at Kalemegdan Fortress tonight, and I was wondering if I should bring cash to buy beer there, or will card be fine? 😊

Personally I still dislike the BGplus apps which still feel like an early beta version and looks draining the battery due it’s using Google Maps platform instead of MapKit.

But I wonder why they choose to make an app instead of PWA which shows realtime bus network based on your gps.

Now they lost a lot of money to create separate apps for android and iOS which could be cheaper done through a PWA app.

Why they didn’t choose for a proven white label platform instead of building their own one?

Pozz drustvo, skoro sam se doselio kod Biga i zanima me da li ima u okolini nekih normalnih terena za basket a da moze da se proseta do njih da ne moram svaki put autobusom da idem za basket, ima ovde par nekih terena izmedju zgrada ali su uglavnom ruinirani kosevi.

Naravno ako ima i nekih ekipa za penzionerski basket slobodno nek se jave.

Hello eveyone, I am coming to stay in Belgrade for two months as a volunteer in a hostel.

I've already been to Serbia multiple times every summer, and is really my favourite country outside of Italy.

My question is: where to buy groceries (like shops etc.)? How to save money on a gym membership (a 2 or 1 month pass)?

My budget is quite low, I would consider to spend like 150 euros for groceries (or even less if possible) for eating per month, and at the same time where to hang out in Belgrade for cheap (like alternative community clubs, alternative raves or things like that).

Hello! I am from Denmark visiting Serbia for a week, and I’m gonna be in Belgrade 21-22rd July, Niš 23-26 and Belgrade again 27-28th July. I’m wondering if there is any hardcore or punk koncerts in these cities any of these days? Or if you have any recommendations of metal or rock koncerts going on? I would love to go to a concert with my friend while I’m visiting:)))

Pre 3 dana sam dosao u srbiju iz bosne, Nesto se desilo bilo mom drugu i morao sam da pozurim kolima do njega bilo je hitno. Ja imam stan u bloku 72 a on zivi blizu ada mola.

posle toga sto me je pozvao, Posto je bilo bas hitno ja sam negde oko 3 ujutru od bloka 72 jurija gagarinom do adinog mosta vozio odprilike 50-70 preko ogranicenja.

Zabrinut sam za kaznu, ali opet sa druge strane ne znam kako ide procedura zato sto mi je auto registrovan u mostaru.
