If you’re partying all night Friday, what are you doing Saturday / Sunday / Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday to stay positive, process your time, keep the scaries at bay, and keep the wheels on the car.

I was always led to believe that everyone understood that a friend miming breaking a stick with their hands on the dance floor was signaling they wanted to take a break. I’ve now had two completely distinct friend groups not have a clue what I was doing.

Anyone else use this? Is this really a crew-specific signal?

Had a security approach me and take my bag. Said he should be escorting me out but said “but I can work with you, what do you want to do.” I said can I buy it back and after quick negotiation I agreed to $50. (Funny enough i agreed to $40, only had a $50 and asked for a 10 back… of course he goes “yeah right” 😂)

In the end not sure if he was even real security but this was early in the night and I didn’t feel like taking the risk. And also did want my bag back..

Fyi, it’s completely on me for not being discrete. Not trying to deflect blame. I’d rather pay 50 and keep my bag too than even have him take it, or to be kicked out.

1. I am thankful for this corrupt security guard. I wasn’t kicked out and I was able to enjoy the rest of my night with what I originally brought.

2. Someone called it the idiot tax.. and I agree thats exactly what I saw it as.

3. Intention of this post wasn’t to cry about it, just to tell my funny story and also give a heads up that they’re out there looking. I was doing something illegal and I’m aware of that lmao. Been getting bolder over the years doing that shit out in the open since nothing ever happened, so this was a perfect humbling scenario.

I ordered a tshirt before the festival and it never shipped. Did anybody else have this issue and was it resolved? I’ve emailed 3-4 different KDC and Wirefest email addresses over the last 4 weeks and no acknowledgement at all.

Music and vibe: How is the DJ set/music selection? Is it mostly hard techno/goth/industrial, or something else ?

Crowd and outfits: is everyone going all out in goth/vampire/cyberpunk gear, or is the standard all black normal too?

Backstory: We're a group of 4 rave mommies from New England. We've been to Output & Verboten back in the day, Space, old NYC Pacha, etc. Most recently went to Refuge and love the vibe. We want to check out new Pacha since our last visit was Gorgon City at Mirage a couple of years ago, but aren't sure we want an all nighter (already know that will change around 8pm when the vibes are high lol).

We've been excited to see Oscar G next week on the roof, but now I'm feeling anxious the vibes will be giving finance and there will be no room to dance... We genuinely just want to prioritize space to move while dancing in the sunshine lol
