Informative šŸŽ‰ 100,000+ Members?! What Have You All Done? šŸŽ‰

Somehow, we've officially crossed 100,000 members.

First, thank you. Whether you're here to contribute thoughtful discussion, share your experiences, lurk from the shadows, or provide some sassy chaos, you've helped build this community into what it is.

We'd also like to remind everyone that AskWomenNoCensor does not mean NSFW content. The "No Censor" part of our name means women are free to give their honest, uncensored opinions and perspectives on the questions asked here while engaging in discussion. It does not mean the subreddit exists for sexual content, nor does it give trolls free rein to harass or demean the women participating here under the guise of "no censor."

With growth comes growing pains and the mod team will be making some adjustments. You may notice tweaks to rules, moderation practices, and AutoMod as we continue trying to make this a better experience for our community members while making it a less enjoyable place for spammers, trolls, and people who seem determined to argue with walls.

We're trying out AutoMod functions to see what works best for our particular community. Some changes will stay, some won't. Adjustments happen as we gather feedback and see how they perform in the wild.

One new feature we're introducing is a community karma threshold that will automatically filter content from users who fall below a predetermined level. The goal is simple: reduce repetitive bad-faith participation, spam, and drive-by nonsense so moderators can spend less time playing whack-a-mole.

We will also now allow mentioning other subreddits and linking Reddit content. Cross-posting will remain unavailable, but we're loosening our restrictions on links as a trial run. In many cases, linking relevant discussions or examples can be helpful to the conversation.

As always, brigading, harassment, and inappropriate links will be removed. We reserve the right to restrict links to communities that consistently create moderation issues or are otherwise not a good fit for this space.

And now for the fun part.

As a thank you for helping us hit 100,000 members, we're offering custom user flairs!

Want something from our existing flair list? Great.

Want something new? Drop your suggestion in the comments.

Moderators assign flairs here, so make your request in the commets. (Or modmail if you're shy).

Thank you all for helping us reach this milestone.

šŸ›‘šŸš§ No Mans Land šŸ›‘šŸšØ (no male input) šŸš§šŸ›‘ 19F is this sudden feeling normal or not?

i wouldn't say im asexual, i think about sexual things a decent amount, more at times, but when i actually get the opportunity to do stuff, i don't desire it at all anymore. no one makes me wet, i don't desire sucking dick AT ALL(or even pulling it out), and went through my last relationship getting head 24/7 but never wanting to give anything back and we never had sex cause i didnt push for it(he was also nervous i think). i definitely do get horny and i have desired penetration, but then again when i get the chance i don't feel ANY attraction. i might be nervous but i don't feel nervous in the moment, just bored. i've had the opportunity with 4 different guys so i don't think it had something to do with the type of person. also the last time i felt butterflies was when i was 7, but have had many crushes ever since. i want to fix it.

is this normal for my age? i don't have any sexual trauma and i do feel confident in my body. i do watch porn but only amateur. i'm not on any medication and for the last year my mental health has been amazing!!(it was rock bottom the year before).

Question Rant How to react to pregnancy announcement? (I’m not happy about it)

I need help on how to react to my sister pregnancy announcement. My family meets next week and she has been trying to become pregnant for 3 months now. So if she is not pregnant yet she will be soon.

I’m not happy about her live decision and don’t want to pretend. But also don’t want to be an asshole to a pregnant women.

I already know that any negativity from my side will send her into a full mental meltdown.

So I’m looking for sentences, lines and conversation directions I can use to navigate this.

Of course I’ll be happy to be an aunt and try to be as present in my nephews life as someone can be 500 miles away.

Why I’m not happy about her deciding to have a baby:

1, She will have to quit university. It’s a specialised nursing program and she can’t work there while pregnant. (She has yet to tell me on reason she wants to quit besides it being unnecessary if she never planned on working to begin with)

2, She wants to be a Sahm and tradwife. She never wants to work a job not even for a day in her whole life.

3, She is a huge misogynist

4, She told my 16 year old cousin: ā€žit’s not so bad you were raped at least you weren’t a virgin.ā€œ

5,She is emotionally unstable and refuses to acknowledge having mental disorders (I can’t diagnose people but it’s a mix of crying for 3 hours a day and panic attacks)

6,She is 20f and her Boyfriend is 30m

7, They have been dating since January and try for a baby since may.

8, She is procrastinating important things like cancelling her lease because she thinks once she is pregnant people will be more empathetic towards her. (That cost my parents. 4000$ in double rent, they pay half of the new Appartement)

9, She expects people will treat and comfort her like it’s an unplanned pregnancy. And will help with all inconvenience her lack of planning will cause.

10, Her boyfriend is behaving like a spoiled toddler whenever things don’t go his way.

11, They have no friends. 0. Their family is their only support net.

12, He earns good money as a banker (~100.000 USD which puts him in the top 5-10% of income where we live)

13, They spend more money than he earns.

14, My sister wants a villa outside the big town with enough land for 3 buildings.

15, They plan on my parents footing the bill. Which they can but it feels wrong to me.

16, My sister has no idea about how much money is worth

17, My sister once told me she doesn’t believe in divorce and in a hypothetical case of domestic abuse wouldn’t leave.

18, She claims to be very Christian but has yet to visit church besides Christmas.

19, I have yet to hear my sister and her boyfriend talk about another subject than their shared future and gossip about others and complain. At my parents birthday in a Michelin Star Restaurant they spend to whole time complaining the food was not good.

20, So much more than just this from the top of my head

The most important reason. I love my sister very much and it physically pains me to see her go down this path.

I don’t want her in my life as much since I dislike the person she is. But I want her in my life because I’m her big sister and family is the most important thing to me.

Of course I will be there for my future niece or nephew. And if my sister expects me take leave from work to play babysitter for a week or two in case of an emergency. I will. But I’m also very happy to live very far away. I would love to move closer for different reasons. but the distance really protects me.

As such I’m looking forward to the pregnancy announcement.

I need some recommendations on how to react.

Because I don’t want her to believe I love her no more than I used to love her when she wasn’t pregnant.

And that I will not forgive her wrongdoing just because she is pregnant.

And that I will cherish the baby not hate or dislike it.

Discussion Why do the men I treated the worst seem to come back, while the ones I treated well never do?

I’ve noticed a pattern in my dating life that I can’t stop thinking about.

When I was younger, I was a much more chaotic person. There were toxic situations, lots of drama, jealousy, impulsive behavior, and emotional highs and lows. Looking back, I’m not proud of a lot of it, and I’ve spent a lot of time working on myself.

What confuses me is that the men involved in those chaotic situations are the ones who seem to come back years later. They’ll randomly message me, add me on social media, or try to reconnect.

On the other hand, when I’ve genuinely tried to be a healthy partner—communicating better, being loyal, respectful, and handling breakups maturely—those relationships seem to end for good. They never reach back out.

For example, one ex seemed almost obsessed with me during the period when our relationship was full of drama and impulsive behavior. But once we officially dated and I became a much calmer, healthier person, he eventually treated me poorly after the breakup and never reached out again.

It makes me wonder: why does chaos seem to leave such a lasting impression on some people? Is it because emotionally intense relationships are harder to forget? Or is it just that healthier relationships end with more closure, so there’s less reason to come back?

I’m not saying I want to go back to being that person—I genuinely don’t. I’ve worked hard to become much calmer and I don’t think I’m capable of behaving that way anymore. I’m just trying to understand why the unhealthy dynamics seem to make people come back, while being a good partner often seems to end in silence.

Has anyone else noticed this pattern, or is there a psychological explanation for it?

Discussion Why are young women trying to get into relationships with old men?

As a 24 year old i truly dont understand, the huge media influx of ā€œsalt and pepperā€ with a young woman makes no sense to me, the music and movies (especially that one with jenna ortega) is so geared towards naive women who think securing an old man is a life goal. theres a reason that old ass man doesnt date women his age, it feels like they want to suck out womens youth. and they would never want to romanticize an older woman, in addition how come there is no beautiful term for aging women? Why is milf the automatic? Of course it has to be a sexual term.

Discussion Does anyone else feel like Instagram has become… weirdly low profile? And if you don’t comply, you’re judged?

Maybe this is just me, but has anyone else noticed that people don’t really post their day-to-day lives on Instagram anymore?

I’m 27, and I still use stories the way everyone used to years ago. If I’m listening to a song I love, I’ll post a picture of my car radio. If I’m watching a show, I might post a picture of the TV. If something big is happening, like I’m moving to another state, I might post a picture of the boxes with a caption like ā€œpacking is going well.ā€ Nothing controversial or overly personal. Just… normal life.

But I’ve had multiple friends question it. Things like, ā€œWhy are you posting that?ā€ or ā€œWhy does everyone need to know you’re moving?ā€ Not from a safety perspective, more like there’s this unspoken rule now that your life should stay mysterious or private. And they tell me that they don’t like people knowing about their lives because of evil eye or some bs like that lol. Don’t even get me started on tagging the location, they think it’s doing too much. Again, I do NOT post anything private, just normal life stuff that to them is cringe.

Those same friends barely post at all. They’ll disappear for months, then upload one perfectly curated photo from a trip to Europe with no location tagged, or a beautiful black n white film photo, and then disappear again. Even stories feel like they’ve become curated. It’s all aesthetic sunsets, Michelin-star restaurants, or travel photos. The random, spontaneous ā€œhere’s what I’m doing todayā€ posts seem to have disappeared..

I also notice people don’t repost when I tag them in normal moments, like grabbing dinner together. Years ago, everyone would’ve reposted it without thinking. Now it almost feels… uncool?

The funny part is that these same people are often the first to watch every single one of my Stories.
I know people will probably say, ā€œWho cares what other people think?ā€ But the reality is I have been judged for it, so it’s not entirely in my head.

Part of me wonders if I’m just stuck in an older version of Instagram while everyone else moved on.
Sometimes I genuinely feel childish, like everyone grew up and I didn’t. I feel like I’m a teenager and they’re grown adults.

Maybe that feeling is tied to other things in my life too. I switched careers and started over in a new field at 27, so I already have moments where I feel behind compared to people my age. I wonder if I’m projecting some of that onto social media.

But at the same time… I kind of miss when Instagram Stories actually felt like little snapshots of people’s everyday lives. A bowl of cereal, a random TV show, a song you couldn’t stop listening to, a bad selfie, a messy room while packing. It felt more social.

Now it feels like everyone is either building a brand or trying to look mysterious.
The latter is the most common.
Am I imagining this? Has anyone else noticed this shift over the last few years? Am I childish for sharing these mundane things?

Question Rant Do you get offended when someone calls your body parts ā€œlittleā€ in what’s supposed to be a complimentary way?

For example, my s/o made comments before like ā€œI like your little bubble buttā€ or ā€œI love your cute little tittiesā€ and this really hurt my feelings. Recently I told him I didn’t like that and asked how he would feel if I said ā€œI like your cute little ___ā€. We had a short argument because he said that’s not the same thing and totally unrelated. I said it is because you’re calling my body parts small or little, he still disagreed saying it’s not the same. I’ve had guys in the past make the same comments including the word ā€œlittleā€ or ā€œsmallā€ and I hate it. I don’t have the biggest body parts but they’re not exactly small either, I would feel much better if they were called sexy or perfect sized or something. ā€œSmallā€ and ā€œlittleā€ just feels belittling and makes me feel insecure. Especially because most people out there prefer bigger asses and such.

What are your thoughts? Should I not be offended since the comment is said in a complimentary way in their eyes? Or is it valid for me feeling the way I do? Idk, I feel like if I told a guy that the same way they’d hate it and feel bad. But it’s okay to do it to me?

Discussion What do you think?

• Upvotes

Meet AD (initials). AD is lonely by choice. He does not have many friends with whom he can hang out, and is least interested in enlarging his circle. He spends hours with his raspberry pi and and hydraulics or his other hobbies, which includes arts. He loves travelling though, although many times it's solo and even on trips he is usually the quiet cat and is more interested in taking pictures and talking with locals. He has an unusual interest in maths and philosophy and civil engineering (judged from his feed, although I might be exaggerating).

He also does not believe in sexual constraints of a marriage and believes marriages should be partially open, although that's his choice(maybe not something he would impose in case he becomes some dictator). In all reasonable standards we can say He's UNUSUAL.

What do you think? Any advise for him?

Question Can’t have sex with my man, how do I fix this?

My boyfriend and I haven’t been able to have sex for a handful of reasons. I have a really hard time getting wet because I’m on antidepressants so it takes a lot of work and sometimes just doesn’t happen at all. We recently tried lube (on both of us at the same time, idk if that might be a factor) and it still didn’t work. It helped move things along but when we tried to actually have sex it still didn’t work.
We have a 10ā€ height difference so we have also struggled to find a position that works so we wanted to try cowgirl and when he went to put it in his dick like bent? (idk how to describe it)
Any tips and advice are much appreciated because this is putting a toll on both of our mental healths and our relationship.

Edit: Thank you all for advice, this is not either of our first time, I will mention that he is thicker than anybody else I’ve been with.

Question What should I do?

Good day everyone, I’m reaching out for some assistance on what I should do next. I’m currently going through/restoring my relationship with my fiancĆ©. We’ve been together for about 9 years now with threes kids and right now I’m having this gut feeling she’s lying or on her way out of this relationship. She started connecting with an old school mate in another state but she/me live in another country. From march until like April they’ve been sexting and connecting in a level that I would consider cheating and she said she loves him etc. After catching her by checking her phone she was more so mad that I checked her phone etc and she changed her password and everything. i know I’m in the wrong for that but my gut was telling me something was off and I had check. I know they still talk to this day as she said she’s going to a retreat in the states but she booked an Airbnb where her old school mate is at. I asked her what dates do I need to book off to play a fool and she told me a different state. This rose another red flag on why would you book a stay in another state from your retreat. They video chat for hours when I’m not around and she hides her phone when she texts this guy. She claims that they’re friends and he’s a good guy and nothing like that will happen and that I need to trust her. I’m trying to work on myself but she is disconnected in ways and blaming it on my past interactions with her and I understand we have fights and struggled in our relationship. Ive been more aware of my mental health and went back to therapy to deal with my personal trauma from my youth. There’s stuff that I left out because there’s so much to unpack and my anxiety and gut feeling is tingling hard as I’ve been tryna to be my best in this relationship with my fiancĆ©. What should I do?

Question Does the clitoral hood affect sensitivity?

I just discovered a subreddit dedicated to large clits, which got me wondering if large, exposed clits are more sensitive or less (similar to how an uncircumcised penis is more sensitive). As someone with a penis, I can see logic both ways, but I’m looking for input from those with clits.

Discussion How would you handle a large dog getting sick miles into a hike?

I was reading an article this morning about a man and his 102 pound mastiff/german Shepherd when he noticed his dog struggling to get through a hike. He had to run down the mountain to get help and it took volunteers 4 hours to get the dog down roughly 2 miles. I've always loved big dogs and always planned a future in which I would have a medium to large dog I would be active with but this has me rethinking. Is this an emergency any of you have dealt with and what happened? Things you would have done differently?

Question for those with a boyfriend/husband, who was interested first?

For those of you with boyfriend/husband, who do you think was interested first?

Were you interested first and he eventually reciprocated, or was he interested first and you reciprocated? I’m not just asking who officially asked whom out, sometimes the person who asks is responding to interest the other person had already shown.

Discussion How to deal with the darkness of being alone at 30?

I turn 30 in a week and it’s been eating away at me.

I’ve always been alone in life. Now I turn 30 and I feel devastated. My mental health that I worked so hard to fix the last 5 years is now reverting back to how dark and awful it was in my early 20s.

I feel haunted by any past mistake I made 10 years ago and feel like it’s karma for my life now. I feel miserable and hopeless.

I’m attractive, and all that stuff, so it doesn’t make sense. Everyone else finds someone, even if they’re not attractive/nice or they’re narcs/manipulators.

It just feels like I’m destined to be alone now and I don’t know how to cope.

Question Rant What do you *actually* look for in a partner?

Edit: I get the feeling people are more engaging with the title than the post. If you’re going to comment and ignore most of the post, at least read the last paragraph to understand what I’m really asking.

I’ve often heard something along the lines of ā€œgetting a gf is easy! All a woman wants is a man who washes his ass, eats her out, and isn’t an dickā€, which is stuff I’m great at but I haven’t had a lot of luck getting my foot in the door. The above advice is largely based on a large number of women’s negative experiences with men who they were in long-term committed relationships with despite these issues, so while these are clearly relationship enders, they are also clearly not nonstarters. It’s a very similar problem to why we get shitty politicians all the time: the skills that make you good at campaigning and winning an election are not the same skills that make you good at governing.

And it makes complete sense that these wouldn’t be nonstarters. You’re not going to inspect someone’s asshole and/or underwear for shit stains when first meeting them. If someone brings up sex right off the bat, that sends the message that they’re probably not actually primarily looking for long-term commitment. Bravado and aggressiveness (especially if the person expressing them is physically attractive) can easily be mistaken for confidence and assertiveness which are genuinely attractive traits in anyone.

So for those of you who have dated such men that you later regretted giving your time to, what actually got your attention? If you rejected someone who had everything on paper that you ā€œshouldā€ look for in a partner but you just weren’t feeling it, why not?

Question What do you think of men with no real long-term goals?

I'm 24 and have a good job with a fancy sounding title, which I don't really plan on changing anytime soon. It pays the bills and I'm happy with that. Maybe if I get burnt out I'd change jobs, but probably to something that's a bit more casual and laid back, although looked down upon.

I play a few instruments, although I'm not particularly good at them. I plan to get better at them, but that's probably my only actual goal, and it's a journey not a destination. I just wonder if these things make me look a bit aimless and unmotivated to most potential partners. Would you, as an individual, take issue with my view on life?
