Mahajara Indian Restaurant
Wife and I went to the one off of Wolf Road yesterday, we thought it was excellent.
I had the Chicken Biryani, medium spice level, and it was very good. Adding the raita to it took it to another level. Spice level was perfect for me, enough to feel the heat but I wasn't sweating.
Wife got the Butter Chicken. It was also excellent! It wasn't too thick or rich, but was full of flavor. Their default for the chicken is bone-in (which, I think is perfect) so if you don't want to have to trim it off the bone, you'll need to request boneless.
We also shared an order of the Aloo Naan. I wasn't all that impressed at first, but when I started using it as a vessel to eat my food with, it complimented the main dishes very well.
We moved here from an area where Indian food is sparse, so to have so many options is very exciting. We definitely recommend this establishment!
Beli rating of a 9.7 for those who practice.
