Looking for Creative Roles, any leads ?

Hi everyone! I’m currently exploring new opportunities and would appreciate any recommendations or connections.

I’m a Graphic Designer with a BFA and experience in branding, social media content, marketing materials, product design, and print production. I’m skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and content creation along with a variety of other programs and softwares.

I’m looking for a full-time role in Graphic Design, Brand/Marketing Design, Social Media, or Creative Marketing. Remote, Hybrid, or In-person.

I’m really into project management and have no fears when it comes to leading a team productively. I’d love something between design and project managing.

If you know of any companies hiring or need creative support, I’d love to connect. Thanks!

Good spots to go rollerblading?

I recently moved here from Baldwin Park. I live in the heart of town. In Baldwin Park, there were multiple bike trails all around that eventually connected to the Cady Way. I used to roller blade almost daily. I'm noticing a severe lack of any such infrastructure here in Winter Park. Am I missing something? Are there any trails I'm just not aware of? I'd hate to have to get in my car and drive miles just to get to a trail, when I have everything else here within walking distance.

Curb Alert: Metal Bed Frame

There is a free metal bed frame on the curb at the end of the Lanier Court cul-de-sac. I hate to see things like this end up in the landfill, when I know someone can use it. Hope it is picked up before the trash run tomorrow

Updated opinions on Azure Winter Park?

(for reference i’m a 25yo female) I sign my lease for a studio tomorrow and I did a walk through today of my unit and it seemed pretty okay. It’s definit a downgrade from my current apartment but I was laid off and needed to condense in order to be more financially stable. I figured once I decorated and everything it’ll feel more like home for me and my kitty cat but i’ve been reading some posts on here about this complex and they aren’t good and now i’m very worried. Granted most of these posts are from 1+ year(s) ago so I just wanted to know if it’s gotten any better?

Looking for Reputable Movers

Looking to move buildings in my apartment complex. We’d be staying in the same complex but just moving to a bigger unit maybe two buildings away and less than 75feet away.

We’ve got a couple pieces of big furniture like a sectional, king mattress, an entertainment stand, and a dining table.
We’d be moving from the second floor to another section floor unit, and there’s no elevator. I’ve got a bad back, so I’m looking for other options.

Does anyone have any reputable movers they could reference?

And if anyone has done something like this in the past, what may it have costed you?

Resturant for 20 people for lunch, post courthouse wedding

Hello! I'm having trouble finding a resturant that will take a reservation for 20 people for lunch, without a private event minimum. So far I have called Garp & Fuss, 60 vines, Boca, The Monroe (dt Orlando). Does anyone have any recommendations of a place that will take a reservation this large without the private event details needed? It is for a post Orange County Courthouse Wedding lunch, so somewhere cute with good drinks and food. Open to Winter Park and Orlando area. Thank you!

Local Businesses in Winter Park?

hey y'all, I'm a recent college grad who started a marketing/ website business for local businesses here in Winter Park. I've been running it for about 1 year now, and I'm capable of building websites, doing SEO, running targeted ads on Facebook & Google, email marketing, custom software solutions and creating marketing content for Facebook, Instagram and Tiktok. I'm looking to partner with some local businesses that can't afford to hire a big company and are looking for an affordable option to handle everything online for them. If this is you or you know anybody who could benefit, i'd love to connect or get a referral.

Looking for friends in the winter park area

Hey everyone — I’m visiting the Winter Park/Orlando area from Rochester, NY and looking to meet some cool people while I’m here.
I’m into food spots, coffee, chess, art, bar games, walking around town, and chill local events. I don’t have a car with me, so walkable spots, Uber, or SunRail-friendly plans work best.
Down for public hangouts first — coffee, food, a local event, or just exploring the area. I’m adding a photo of myself too so people can put a face to the post.
If you’re also looking for friends or know some good places to meet people around Winter Park, feel free to comment or DM. & for the MOD team. I’m just tryna to make friends. I deleted my other posts & only keeping this one. Please don’t take down this post 😅

Winter Park Housing Market Update – May 2026

Hey everyone — I'm a licensed real estate professional here in Central Florida, and I wanted to share the latest housing market stats for Winter Park, in case you're thinking of relocating, investing, or just keeping an eye on trends.

I pull this data directly from a program called Sunstats, so while I use AI to help format the post, the data and insights are my own — this is not an AI generated report.

Real estate data is typically released about a month behind to ensure it's accurate and complete. Here's what the Winter Park market looked like for May 2026, broken down by zip code:

📍 32789

🏡 64 new listings came onto the market this month

✍️ 67 homes went under contract

✅ 36 homes sold

⏳ Median days on market: 65 (This reflects the time from when a home went live to when it closed — up 8.3% from 60 days in May 2025)

💵 Median selling price: $1,300,000 (up 73.3% from $750,000 in May 2025)

📦 Months of supply: 5 months (no change from May 2025)

📍 32792

🏡 68 new listings came onto the market this month

✍️ 67 homes went under contract

✅ 50 homes sold

⏳ Median days on market: 74 (This reflects the time from when a home went live to when it closed — up 17.5% from 63 days in May 2025)

💵 Median selling price: $419,950 (down 2.8% from $432,000 in May 2025)

📦 Months of supply: 3.4 months (down 26.1% from 4.6 months in May 2025)

A quick explainer on months of supply: Months of supply measures how long it would take to sell all current homes on the market at the current pace of sales. The general benchmarks are:

🔴 Under 6 months — Seller's market.

⚖️ 6–7 months — Neutral market.

🟢 Above 7 months — Buyer's market.

📊 2026 Trend So Far — Winter Park 32789

Experiences at Winter Park High

Hello. We are moving to Orlando from abroad and currently looking at areas to live around WP. I am looking at potential school options for my son, who is 14. As we have been expats all his life, he has only ever gone to private international schools (around 1500 students, some bigger).
I am looking at WPH and was hoping to speak to parents (or ex students!) on their opinion of the school. I am also considering Lake Highland or Trinity Prep although this of course comes with significant financial commitment (they have availability). However it would be nice if, for a change, I wasn’t paying 30k a year for schools (we didn’t have an option where we live now).
I would appreciate any good or bad feedback. This will also affect where we live around WP as I will need to make sure we live in the catchment area. Thank you
