Buying tickets in Winnipeg.

Hey all!! I really want to go see a game in Winnipeg in December. I don’t live there but I am pretty close. Any advice for seats, where to purchase tickets earlier than later, and just any extra advice would be appreciated. (I want to see the Jets versus Sharks for clarification!!)

Do you guys think the Jets will ever be able to pull in a big superstar from another team?

I don't mean someone who has seen there better days pass. But someone young and in their prime who is UFA eligible. I mean Toews was great, but did he ever consider coming here when he was still in his prime? Would Sheif or Helly decide to give Winnipeg a chance if they went somewhere else in their draft years?

Just feel like we never even get in the conversation. Chevy is a hard hitter when it comes to getting decent deals, but it is clear he has overpaid a couple of times for players that would get less basically anywhere else. And with Winnipeg being a fairly undesirable city (considering the NMC that we are on), it just seems we have to draft and develop, or trade for high-quality players. And good thing Chevy is just as hard at those trades.

It really seemed to me that the Jets had something going for them a couple of years ago, and even with all that momentum, they were not able to bring in new talent to buffer the missing positions. Hell, we lost Ehlers because he felt there was nothing more to do here.

Who’s the Most Defensive Defenceman?

Hey y’all! Since Stuart Skinner (my guy) is now a Winnipeg Jet, I want to start off with a good purchase on the new team I’ll be supporting.

As titled above, which current Defenceman from this preseason Jet roster has the most noticeable/consistent Defensive plays?

Kinda like with Slavin, Moritz Seider, and Connor Murphy. Not necessarily to those levels, but similar. Lots of Blocks, Poke Checking, Good at PK, etc.

Although, I am curious of the new blueline that will play in front of Stu, I’m kinda obsessed with Defensive Defencemen. So, inputs from longtime Jets fans on zeroing in on the #1 defensive d-man will be a huge help for me this offseason🥅🧊~!

Saw the yearly travel breakdown — Jets are projected for 48,931 miles, 5th most in the league. At least we get the Heritage Classic at home vs Montreal in October before the road grind kicks in. https://bookies.com/news/2026-27-nhl-miles-traveled-league-covers-1-million-miles-4-nations
