Hi! My dad l bond over music and Wilco is our favorite bands to bond over. I’m getting married next fall and I would like our father daughter dance to be to a Wilco song - was initially thinking My Darling but not sure. Would love some feedback on wholesome Wilco songs that would fit for a father daughter dance!

ETA: our favorite songs are impossible Germany, muzzle of bees, a shot in the arm, via Chicago and she’s a jar - none of which are first dance appropriate

I saw the Wilco show in Wilmington on Monday. It was at Greenfield Lake Amphitheater, which is a top 3 venue for me personally. We have been having some very hot days around NC but storms rolled in on Monday causing show delays and some “cooler” weather. It was an awesome show but I think Jeff must have been regretting his long sleeve shirt in set one. He changed into a short sleeve for set 2 and I believe this is the first time I’ve seen a costume change from Jeff. 😆 🕺🏻 It was a solid choice! It was super humid. I loved every second of the show. 🙌❤️

hey - when Wilco played in Lagrange GA on July 9, toward the end Jeff did this bit where he talked about a philosophy he has.…

To summarize, he said he feels no one really knows anything and the best idea he’s come up with to live by was the idea that you’ve got to figure out how to give your love away.

Then they played a tune where at one point he sang ”how do I give my love away?” in an exaggerated way to indicate he was tying the line to the little “Ted talk” he’d just given.

I’m trying to figure out what song that was and searching the net for wilco lyrics didn’t turn anything up...maybe it wasn’t the actual song lyric but was modified? idk. Anyone have an idea what song it was?
