Hi, can anyone pinpoint the exact spot this photo of my grandad was taken? I’m pretty sure it’s Lake Lugano and was taken in the late 1940s. He met my granny there on this trip and we’re planning to visit next year on a family holiday. It would be great to recreate this photo.

The skyline looks distinctive, I guess.

This is my grandad, who passed in 1981. No family left to ask, so just a few old photos. Would love to know where this was taken, especially as he lived in the middle of the country, miles from any beaches.

My great grandfather, Rainey Mills, is second right on the back row. Looks like a works photo, and Rainey worked on the docks in Belfast. I estimate this was taken in the mid-1930s. I can't find a building that looks like this still standing. Anyone know where it was?

That picture is of my mom, it was taken most likely in the 90’s (she was born 80’s) and it was taken in ukraine, most likely khmelnytskiy.

I found this image on Pinterest and tried doing some research. I think it's in Las Vegas but I'm not entirely sure. Some say it's the Excalibur Hotel & Casino.

For a uni friendly competition. This is probably india. no context was provided. Maybe pay attention to the construction sites near by to figure it out. if its india its prolly a tech park

I am 90% confident it was on Lake Simcoe, Ontario Canada. But there is a small chance it could have been on another large lake near by. But I am quite confident it is Lake Simcoe.

This was taken near a small boat launch area. Not an official marina, but just a place where people might launch their small watercraft from infrequently. (don't remember seeing anyone launch their boats while I was there)

I believe this photo was taken in the PM. I don't know the exact timing but I am guessing somewhere between 12pm and 6pm. Maybe someone who is better with shadows can narrow that down. According to the photo details, it was taken on July 22, 2013. Although this is a screenshot of the original photo (can't find the original pic), so I do not know the true date. But summertime 2013 sounds about right.
