[iOS] [$14.99/yr -> Free for 1 Year] LazyBinger : Universal TV Remote That Auto-Skips Netflix Intros Using Your Camera

Hi everyone! 👋

I'm the solo developer behind LazyBinger, an iOS app that turns your iPhone
into a universal TV remote — and then takes it one lazy step further.

If you've ever thought:

* "Where has the remote gone this time?"
* "I'm not getting up to press Skip Intro."
* "Why do I need five different remote apps for one living room?"

...then LazyBinger was built for you.

Instead of being just another remote, LazyBinger can watch your TV through the
camera. Prop your phone facing the screen and it taps "Skip Intro" and "Next
Episode" for you. You don't move a muscle.

Free Features
✅ Universal remote for 12 TV platforms — Apple TV, Roku, Fire TV, Samsung,
LG, Sony, Google TV, Vizio, Hisense, Panasonic, Philips, Chromecast
✅ One scan finds every TV on your network — no setup, no pairing dance
✅ Full keyboard for Netflix & YouTube searches
✅ Apple Watch remote
✅ Wake-on-LAN, sleep timer, one-tap app launching
✅ No account, no ads, no tracking
✅ Clean dark design, made for watching in bed

LazyBinger Premium Features
⭐ Camera auto-pilot — it reads your TV screen and clicks "Skip Intro" for you
⭐ Voice control — "pause", "louder", "sleepy time", 10+ languages, on-device
⭐ Your own trigger sounds — a finger snap, a whistle
⭐ Chain up to 5 actions behind a single word
⭐ Works with the screen locked

Everything runs locally 🔒

"An app that watches your screen and listens to you" deserves suspicion, so
here's the actual architecture:

🔒 The camera never records. Frames go straight into Apple's Vision framework on your phone, which reads the text on screen, and the frame is discarded.,
🔒Nothing is written to disk, nothing is uploaded.
🔒 It only runs while you've armed it, and stops the moment you disarm it.
🔒 Voice recognition runs on-device too, and the mic is only live while listening mode is on.
🔒 Controlling the TV is plain local networking — the same protocols your TV's
own app uses, over your own Wi-Fi. No account, no login, no server in the
middle.

Put the phone in airplane mode with Wi-Fi on: everything still works. That's
the whole proof.

How to get it 🎁

  1. Download the app: https://apps.apple.com/app/id6779151585
  2. Upvote
  3. Comment LazyBinger below

Thanks for checking it out ❤️

[iOS][FREE] Nowhere News: the news app you never have to open

Thumbnail
gallery
17 Upvotes

When was the last time you actually read the news?

I’m talking about opening the CNN or Fox News app and scrolling through the feed. My guess is never, or at least not recently enough to remember.

Most of us, especially Gen Z, hate the media. We know it’s full of slop and bias, but more than that we hate how overwhelming it all is. Hundreds, if not thousands, of stories every day, its just too much.

Instead of legacy news apps, you probably get your news from Twitter, friends, or group chats. The problem is you still end up missing stories and falling behind on what’s happening. We have more technology and access to information than ever before, yet somehow we feel more disconnected from the world we live in.

The news was supposed to connect us to the world. Now it just overwhelms us. It feels like you either have to accept a 12-hour screen time or miss 90% of what’s going on.

That’s why I made Nowhere: a news app you don’t have to open to stay informed.

The widget lives on your lock screen or home screen and shows you what’s happening right now. It uses consensus as its only filter. Stories only appear when two or more major news sources are reporting on the same thing. That cuts an impossible number of stories down to around 50 a day.

Every story lives for 24 hours before rolling into the archive, so the feed is always today’s news. Nothing stale. You can glance at it every time you open your phone or swipe between apps.

It’s completely free. No sign-ups or accounts. Zero ads.

Feedback and reviews are welcome.

[iOS][macOS][Aurora][5.99$ - Free Lifetime] Why would anyone give each website its own font? I built it into my Safari extension and now I get it

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

My main app is Aurora, a dark mode extension for Safari. But what users really like isn't the dark mode — it's changing the website's font.

I almost didn't ship that feature. Now it's the thing people actually write to me about.

So for the new Mac version I leaned all the way in. The font engine now runs completely independent of dark mode — you can change a site's typeface on a fully light page. That's what the video shows: nytimes.com stays light, only the type changes.

And once I started giving every website its own font, honestly, I can't go back.

The logic: different sites are different kinds of reading.

Wikipedia and long reads get Charter or Literata — book serifs. A 20-minute article suddenly reads like a book chapter, not a chore.

Docs and dashboards get Inter — clean and dense, built for screens.

Cluttered sites with tiny text get Atkinson Hyperlegible at size L — designed for low-vision readers, shockingly comfortable for everyone else.

There's also OpenDyslexic for readers with dyslexia.

The details that took embarrassingly long to get right:

Works with or without dark mode — the two engines are fully decoupled

Layout doesn't break: icon fonts (Font Awesome, Material Icons) and code blocks are excluded, so no hieroglyphics in toolbars and no broken terminals

The typefaces ship inside the extension, so they load even on strict-CSP sites like GitHub where injected webfonts normally fail silently

Boring facts: 15 typefaces, per-site rules, iCloud sync across iPhone/iPad/Mac (one purchase covers all), $5.99 one-time. No subscription.

I set aside 30 Pro Lifetime codes for this sub. One catch: my Reddit account is rate-limited right now, so DMs are unreliable. To claim: download Aurora (free — link in the first comment), then hit Contact Support in the app's About screen and email me the site + font pairing you'd set first (e.g. Wikipedia + Charter). I'll reply with a one-time redeem code — first 30 emails.

Comment your pairing here too — I read every one, and it keeps the thread fun.

And if per-site fonts sounds like overkill, tell me why — genuinely curious. I'll be around for a few hours answering everything.

[Android] [$13.99/month -> Free for 1 Year] StonksGo AI : Analyze Trading Charts With AI

https://reddit.com/link/1v2pzsu/video/caaszxnjhmeh1/player

Hi everyone 👋

I’m a solo indie developer, and I’m excited to introduce StonksGo AI.

I built it because trading charts can be overwhelming. You can see the candles moving, but understanding the trend, important price levels, risk and possible scenarios takes much more time.

With StonksGo AI, you simply upload or take a screenshot of a chart, and the app turns it into a clear AI-powered breakdown.

👉 Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.stonksgo.ai

What does StonksGo AI analyze?

📈 Trend and momentum: Understand the current market direction.

🎯 Support and resistance: Identify the price zones that matter most.

⚖️ Risk and setup quality: See how strong or risky the setup may be.

🐂🐻 Bullish and bearish scenarios: Understand what could happen in either direction.

🔍 Patterns and volume: Detect chart patterns, breakouts and market activity.

🧠 Clear explanations: Get more than a simple Buy or Sell signal.

🎁 Giveaway: Free StonksGo Pro for 1 Year

For the next 48 hours, I’m giving away one full year of StonksGo Pro, normally $13.99 USD/month.

How to claim

  1. Upvote this post.
  2. Comment “StonksGoAI” below.
  3. Bonus: tell me whether you mainly trade stocks, crypto or forex.
  4. I’ll reply and give you the app link and instructions to unlock the free year.
  5. Try it with a real chart and come back with your honest feedback or feature requests.

After the free year, StonksGo Pro renews at $13.99/month unless canceled before renewal.

If you find the app useful, an honest Google Play rating or review would mean a lot to a solo developer, but it is completely optional.

[iOS] [$4.99 -> FREE Lifetime] SilentProof: Document recurring noise and export PDF reports — 24 hours

Hi

I’m the developer of SilentProof: Noise Complaint, and I’m making the one-time SilentProof Pro unlock free to claim for the next 24 hours.

Download the app and unlock Pro while the App Store price shows $0. Once claimed, Pro stays unlocked.

SilentProof is built for people dealing with recurring apartment or neighborhood noise. Instead of only showing a decibel number, it helps you document each incident with:

• Reference dB levels

• Exact time and duration

• Notes and location context

• On-device audio recording

• An organized incident history

You can then export a clear PDF record for follow-up with a landlord, property manager, HOA, building staff, or local complaint service.

The free app includes:

• Real-time decibel meter

• Evidence capture and incident history

• 3 PDF exports

SilentProof Pro unlocks during this event:

• Unlimited PDF exports

• Lifetime access once claimed

• No subscription

The latest version, 1.2.3, also makes evidence capture and PDF management more reliable. Audio recording starts automatically with a new incident, generated reports remain linked to their evidence records, and existing reports can be previewed or shared without consuming another free export.

App Store:

https://apps.apple.com/app/apple-store/id6756213159?pt=127765799&ct=reddit-giveaway-123&mt=8

Website:

https://silentproof.borealbit.com/

Privacy: no account is required, and your records stay on your device unless you choose to export them.

Important: SilentProof is a documentation tool. It is not legal advice or a certified sound level meter. Audio recording laws vary by location, so please check your local rules.

I’d genuinely appreciate feedback, especially from anyone who has dealt with recurring neighbor noise, barking dogs, late-night music, parties, or construction noise.

[Android] [$6.99 -> Free] Store & Forget: home inventory app that fills in an item's details from a photo, and the BYOK unlimited-scans unlock is free right now

Post image
13 Upvotes

https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=dev.koalalab.storeandforget

Solo dev here, this is my own Android app. Store & Forget is a home inventory app for the stuff you box up and forget: cables, chargers, tools, seasonal things. You snap a photo of something as you put it away and the app fills in the name, description and specs for you, so you are not typing out every item. Later you find it by typing a plain word or tapping Smart Find, and it takes you straight to the box or shelf it went into.

The poster above is that flow: the app filling in an item on one side, and Smart Find pulling up where it is on the other.

The giveaway: the Bring Your Own Key unlock, which lets you plug in your own free AI key and run unlimited Smart Scans, normally costs $6.99 in the app. Right now a hidden easter egg turns it on for free and keeps it. Open Settings, tap the app version five times to open a retro dev console, then type unlock byok. You sign in with Google so it saves to your account and survives reinstalls.

Details: - Product: Store & Forget (home inventory app) - Platform: Android, on Google Play - Normal price: $6.99 for the BYOK unlimited-scans unlock (the app itself is free) - Free deal: the unlock is free right now and stays permanent once you claim it - How to claim: install, open Settings, tap the version number five times, type unlock byok, sign in with Google - Feedback required: no - Expires: I am removing the free path in an update around mid-August 2026; anyone who turns it on before then keeps it for good - Limits: none

The rest is straightforward. The app is free to use, everything is stored on your own device, and backup to your Google Drive is optional. The photo scan runs on a cloud AI service, so the free tier gives you a set number of scans and shows banner ads. Android only for now. Happy to answer anything.

[Android] [$4.99 → Free Lifetime] NetLens: See Your Wi-Fi in AR

Post image
45 Upvotes

** All out of codes - Congrats to everyone who got one **

Hey Everyone,

I am doing one more give away for life time subscriptions. I've had a lot of requests so one more batch of Lifetime codes going out.

Here is a demo of just the Quick Scan tool:
https://youtube.com/shorts/2qGWLS-aJhI

Grab it here:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.netlens

Website:
https://netlens.fyi

It's been a long journey, just trying to spread it out.

What NetLens actually does

AR Quick Scan - point the camera at the floor and walk: your Wi-Fi signal renders live in AR as a flowing lava heatmap, a rain of dBm-labeled balls, or floating gauge orbs you measure by walking past

Full Heatmap surveys - walk a whole room or floor and it builds a top-down signal heatmap of the space, with a live minimap while you scan

Photo notes on the map - snap photos mid-scan (your router, a dead-zone corner, the server closet) and they get pinned to the exact spot on the heatmap

Floorplan mode (no AR) - import a floor plan image and tap readings onto it for a classic heatmap overlay

Signal meter - live RSSI readout for the network you're connected to

Channel graphs - see 2.4/5/6 GHz congestion and where your neighbors' networks sit

AP browser - filterable list of every access point around you, with roaming history so you can see when your phone hops between APs

Speed test - download/upload/ping, and in Quick Scan you can plant the result as an AR flag right where you tested

Reports - export any scan as PDF, PNG, or CSV; group scans into projects and export a multi-floor building as one combined PDF

100% local - no account, no cloud; scans, photos, and reports never leave your phone unless you share them

DM me if you are interested - I am mostly looking for valid feedback on bugs and/or improvements.

Thanks for checking it out!

[iOS] [Free] Pathlings: cozy step-tracking tamagotchi app that makes walking cute

Thumbnail
gallery
3 Upvotes

Hi everyone! I recently launched Pathlings, a free iPhone app that turns your daily steps into progress in a cozy virtual-pet game.

You start by choosing one of three little companions -- Sprout, Ember, or Bubble -- then name them and help them grow by walking. Your real steps earn XP, move you along daily adventure paths, complete quests, build streaks, and eventually evolve your Pathling through five stages.

I built it because I wanted a step tracker that felt more motivating than staring at charts and numbers. The goal is to create a gentle reason to walk a little more each day without making fitness feel stressful or overly competitive.

A few highlights:

• Connects with Apple Health to track steps
• Adjustable daily goals
• Quests, streak bonuses, snacks, toys, and Streak Shields
• Unique habitats where your buddy can wander and nap
• No ads or subscriptions
• No personal data collected

It is still an early project, so I would genuinely appreciate feedback—especially on the onboarding, progression speed, buddy designs, and anything that feels confusing or unpolished.

You can try it here:
https://apps.apple.com/in/app/pathlings/id6785328555

Thanks for taking a look!

[iOS] [99.99$ -> Free Lifetime] Arca - Private Photo Vault

Post image
12 Upvotes
  • Product name: Arca - Private Photo Vault
  • Platform: iOS
  • Normal price: $99.99
  • Free deal duration: 24h
  • Link or process to claim: https://arca.pacifiq.io/ download and purchase $0 lifetime in app purchase
  • Whether feedback is required: not must
  • Expiration date, if available: lifetime available
  • Any limits, such as number of seats or licenses: no limit, only time limits

---

I built Arca, a private photo vault for iPhone.

The app keeps your private photos and videos in an encrypted vault that lives only on your device. No account, no server, nothing syncing to cloud.

Most "hidden photos" apps just move pictures into a folder and slap a passcode in front of it. The files themselves are still sitting there in plain form. Plug the phone into a computer or dig through a backup and the photos are right there. Arca actually encrypts every photo, video, and thumbnail with AES-256, the same military-grade standard used to protect classified data, and the keys are locked to your device by the Secure Enclave.

Arca can:

  • Lock the vault with a 6-digit PIN and Face ID
  • Shoot photos with a built-in private camera that saves straight into the vault and never touches your camera roll
  • Hide behind a disguised app icon so it doesn't look like a photo vault
  • Open a decoy vault with a second PIN if someone makes you unlock it
  • Take a break-in photo of anyone who enters the wrong PIN
  • Auto-lock and blur the preview in the app switcher
  • Strip location data when you share a photo out

It also handles the everyday stuff:

  • Albums and favorites with a fast gallery
  • Encrypted backup to Files or iCloud Drive
  • Lossless export of your originals, free and unrestricted, so you're never locked in
  • Military-grade AES-256 on everything, with no account and no tracking

The main idea: keep private photos actually private, on your own device, with military-grade encryption and no company server in the middle.

Useful for:

  • personal photos you'd rather not keep in the camera roll

[iOS/Android] Lifetime workout tracking (10$-> free)

Workout tracking app: https://apps.apple.com/sg/app/huddle-sports/id6757151094. It’s built as an alternative to apps like Strong and Hevy, but with a major difference: alongside standard gym set tracking, it includes specific workout routes and training drills for major sports (Basketball, Football, Baseball, American Football, etc.).

IOS (just replace it with the code, my post is getting remove by reddit filters if I put

Use the code NOSUB

[iOS][Cadence - Habit Tracker][IAP $2.99 Lifetime-> Free][Feature rich habit tracker with no subscription]

Got great feedback from the other subreddits, and the app is now available in EU!

Currently working on an update for watch + new widget, along with expanded overview page.

I'm a software engineer and built a habit app mainly for myself because a lot of the options on iOS have a ridiculous subscription or just lacks the features that I want.

Been using for the past couple months and never shared the link. Sharing for free on reddit cause i love this community and want to get some early adopters, along with just wanting people to try it and get feedback!

Features

  • Yes/no habits and numerical habits with "at least" and "at most" targets for quitting or reinforcing habits
  • Flexible schedules: daily, 3x/week, weekly, custom ("5 times per 2 weeks")
  • Current + best streaks
  • Momentum score
  • Completion rates: week / month / year / all time
  • Calendar heat map, scrollable through full history
  • Bar charts for numerical habits
  • Push notifications for reminders
  • Notes on entry
  • Skip days
  • 28 colors, emoji auto-suggest, dark/light theme
  • Drag to reorder, archive
  • CSV export/import
  • iCloud backup/restore
  • No account, no ads, no subscription, fully offline (except iCloud)

Upcoming

  • Watch app
  • Single habit widget
  • Updated overview page
  • Share feature
  • Left to right calendar direction
  • Data import from other habit apps
  • And more!

Please let me know if you want data import from other apps! I don't know what the data looks like or which ones I should prioritize and I'm happy to work on any other bugs or feature requests. Thanks for taking a look!
