Fluff/Meme That feeling when the last major roadblock in the way of creating fully custom nations for Red Dragon just fell
Perhaps we won't need to endlessly wait for Eugen after all.

There has been a huge breakthrough in modding thanks to the development of a new modding toolkit capable of editing existing models and importing completely new ones into the game.
The toolkit has been developed by BlackTeaRemos from the Warno Annihilation Discord (https://discord.gg/bdyN49dxP). It is still actively being developed, with new updates and progress announcements posted by BlackTeaRemos in the #war-chat channel.
The units shown in the images attached to this post are what my friend and I (mostly my friend) managed to add to the game in just five minutes by importing models from third-party websites through Blender. The textures are currently missing because we haven't mapped them yet, but this demonstrates that custom model importing is already working.
Because of this, we're calling on experienced modders to help test the toolkit and provide feedback to Black people of co.... I mean BlackTeaRemos. The more people experiment with it and report bugs or suggestions, the faster the toolkit can improve.
Download links:
Installation instructions:
version.dll and install.bat).install.bat.Once the workspace has been built, you'll find every unit available in the Showroom. To import a new model, first clone an existing unit, then import the model you want to use. After making your changes, go to the Workspace tab and Repack Mod to build your mod.
I'm only an amateur user of this toolkit and not its developer. If you have any questions, encounter bugs, or have suggestions for improvements, please contact BlackTeaRemos on the Warno Annihilation Discord in the #war-chat channel.

As it is there's no reason to use them except era decks. Compared to, say, Livgarden, by no means an overpowered unit, they get a worse primary and tertiary - and the same secondary - weapon, and increased unit size and speed for 10 points. Per the precedent established by the Italy update, the increased unit size should only account price point jump, not two. Or compare them to Buffaloes '89: they have a worse primary and tertiary, better secondary, worse vehicle selection and same unit size and speed for a 10 point price increase.
To put it another way, Wargame wants you to believe that Gurkhas '89 are anywhere near the same value as Alpini '90 or Fallskjermjeger '90, or even Gurkhas '90 and they just aren't.

Hello, basicly just the question, I really liked playing with the guy, but because I had to make a new account he is no longer in my friends list and I dont ever see him in Games (Im Darth Plagueis in Wargame btw).
Pretty random question, but if anyone has heard of him...
Think we last played like 2 Months ago.

We're hosting another TOTAL WARNO: Breakthrough session today, and if you've ever wanted WARNO to feel like an actual Cold War battlefield instead of a standard RTS match, this might be for you.
Start time: 21:30 CEST / 3:30 PM EDT
Instead of equal meeting engagements, we're playing attacker vs. defender breakthrough scenarios inspired by real Cold War doctrine. Defenders prepare fortified positions while attackers have to coordinate artillery, aviation, armored spearheads and reconnaissance to break through the line.
Our goal is simple: recreate the scale, doctrines and combined-arms warfare that Cold War planners actually expected.
New mechanics we're testing today:
Entrenchment gives defenders a real advantage from prepared positions instead of simply relying on terrain bonuses. Attackers, on the other hand, now have access to tools such as chemical weapons and coordinated combined-arms tactics to break those defenses, creating a much more dynamic battlefield.
TOTAL WARNO is built around player specialization rather than everyone doing everything.
Players take dedicated roles such as:
This creates far more communication, coordination and planning than standard multiplayer, while allowing us to field significantly larger formations. The result is a battlefield that feels much closer to the scale envisioned during the Cold War, with more units, more specialized weapons, and doctrines that normally never get a chance to shine in vanilla WARNO.
If you've ever wondered what WARNO would feel like with actual Cold War operational-scale battles, we'd love to have you join us.
Everyone is welcome, whether you're an experienced player or just curious about trying something different.

Grabbed it for $2.49 and wasn't expecting much. It's not Red Dragon, but still a fun game and the battlefield atmosphere is fantastic.

What even is this structure in the foreground, where is this taken, what is that in the background? I have so many questions regarding this.

I've been developing this mod for ~20 months on and off, and its finally reached a state of completion (well, feature-complete, some content is still missing). It is based around a deck system where you can choose a mix of two specs, similar to Broken Arrow, but the specs are more similar to Wargame specs. If you play 1 spec (pure spec) you get 100 activation points, while mixed specs get 85 activation points. The gameplay itself has been rebuilt from the ground up. Virtually every unit archetype, weapon class, engine variable, has been analyzed and modified using lessons learned from both Wargame and WARNO's development.
I am hosting the first tournament this weekend (2v2 Flash tournament on Saturday, June 20th), come watch or participate. No DLC is required, only a copy of WARNO. I plan on writing on a full introductory guide for new players explaining all the details about the design, but its a work in progress and not yet available.
I also developed a discord bot that allows people to challenge each other in a "scrimmage" system, and ranks players/teams by ELO. It uses a unique algorithm that prevents "shadow boxing" (in theory), which is necessary since there is no actual "matchmaking". It's functional but still in a testing phase because its an entirely theoretical concept, and it also might have some bugs.
