can somone help tell me more about this coin, i think from the date it is a celebratory coin for queen victoria golden jubilee. google
image search said it was a six pence but the size is to big.
also the worth of the coin would be nice to know aswell.

Was clearing out mums house and found these. No idea the history and sat on them for a while as I thought they were just these £5 commemorative coins.

Hi all, I recently recieved a collection of mostly UK and Channel Island coins while clearing out a friends' storage unit. I've made a list of each one and the year, was wondering if anyone spots anything that stands out or if they are all common mints. There are quite a few non-UK coins on the list that you can feel free to ignore or direct me elsewhere if you happen to know anything about them

Recently, a decent sized coin collection has come into my possession. It was my granddad's collection that was stored away for quite some time. I have had a good sort through the coins and can identify what pretty much all of them are, but I definitely struggle with calculating the value.

There is a massive range of coins, half pennies, old pennies, shillings, Florins, three pence, six pence, £5 commemorative coins, the list goes on. A couple of the old pennies are about 200 years old. There are also a good few complete booklets of coins.

What is the best way to value these coins, also I'll definitely post some stuff in here, over the next couple of days.
